A brilliant nursery that really cares about the children. The staff are friendly and engaging with my boys, they really know all their little quirks. They all work incredibly hard to make it a fun, safe, engaging place to bring our children to, which loads of activities to support their learning. The
whole team all worked so hard, and it really shows because they retained their outstanding Ofsted grading.

Dreadful service by the administration team. Given notice for my two children to leave because I questioned a £20 fee for being 7 minutes late (I said I would pay this, just wanted to know why so expensive). I would have completely understood it, if it was 15/20 mins but 7 minutes and to be asked to
leave because of questioning it is disgusting - has completely left me and my pregnant wife struggling to now as its midterm and everywhere is fully booked so left with no child care. The nursery staff are excellent though.

I am so impressed by Flying Start in Redruth. The staff really care about the children and are always aware of what developmental stage they are at. Activities are planned and shared with parents weekly, with regular photos and updates. I think the nursery has the right balance of planning and sharing
with parents, but also remaining focussed on the children first and foremost. Can’t rate them highly enough!

I could not recommend Flying Start @ Redruth enough.
They are an excellent team who make you feel comfortable and welcoming every time you see them.
For my son, they have gone beyond and above. They have supported him and me so much, as my son has speech delay and sensory issues. They have caught
it early and got the right people in place and supported him through his difficulties, they have explained everything to me in detail as it can be a scary process. The manager and his key worker have made me understand his difficulties and also helped me at home.
They are also trying to get him some additional support when he starts school next year, they have been a huge help and I’m so so glad I chose this nursery. The manager is excellent and her team are right behind her. All I can do is thank them for everything they have done for him and us, his parents.

I could not recommend Flying Start @ Redruth enough for anyone picking a nursery.
From day one, the whole team have been welcoming, understanding, approachable, and most of all, our little boy loves going. He has formed a lovely, trusted relationship with his key workers, which is wonderful to see.
My
little boy has also had a speech delay and sensory issues. The manager and his key worker picked up on this really early on and gave him the support he needed.
The manager and key worker have also supported us as parents, as it can be a frightening road ahead of us, but they have given us so much help and going forward, helping us with support when he goes to primary school.
Our little man has come on leaps and bounds since he started at flying start, and we can’t thank their team enough for everything.

I absolutely love sending my daughter to Flying Start Redruth. All of the members of staff who look after her are brilliant and she has settled so well with them. I moved her to Flying Start from another nursery and the difference in her is amazing, she is so confident walking into nursery and puts
her arms out and let’s go of my hand as soon as she sees one of her regular members of staff. She only attends two days per week but the connections she has with staff are amazing. When I pick her up I get very thorough feedback and lovely updates on eyLog. Both myself and my partner, and especially our daughter, are so happy with her attending Flying Start and are grateful to all of the staff who work with her for the amazing work they do with her. Some of the new things that she has learnt since attending are amazing. We couldn’t be happier with this nursery and all of the staff I have ever communicated with are so friendly.

My daughter started here in August and has done so well so far. Not having been away from me before my return to work, the staff put me at ease and always reassured me everything would be okay. The environments are welcoming, and my daughter has become very comfortable with going to nursery.

Nothing but the best will do when it comes to your children and getting the best start they can. I truly believe Flying Start has provided that with our daughter. She’s so much more confident and outgoing. She loves everyone and doesn’t stop talking about them at home. All her dolls at home are named
after the staff and friends. We’ve noticed such a difference in her speech, the way she interacts with other children and adults, she’s becoming a very well-rounded and spirited little girl. She enjoys the food, she’ll eat dinners there that she won’t at home. The outdoor space is amazing! So much to engage and enrich her little mind. We’d have absolutely no concerns in recommending family and friends to this nursery.

This nursery has been an absolute God send for me and my three kids, two of which have gone onto school now and still talk about their times at nursery. They also love to go back when getting their sister and talk to the staff. The staff are amazing and very helpful when you have a problem with your

We have now placed our second child in this setting. We were very happy with the care our first received. The staff are friendly and informative, keeping you up to date via the app and face to face. My son and daughter love going, that’s got to be a good sign. Each day is thought out, with different
topics, themes and activities meaningful to these. Also with Covid-19 we have been kept well updated with all precautions taken to ensure the safety for the children as well as the staff. I trust the staff to look after my children. Would highly recommend.

My little one absolutely loves it here! She was attending a different setting prior to this but from the day she started, it's like she's always been here. I love reading about how she has spent her day on the Early Years Log and just seeing how happy she is at the end of each day, it's such a comfort

My twin boys attend Flying Start @ Redruth and I cannot praise them enough for their patient, friendly and warm approach. One of my sons has additional needs and they have been such a constant support through the process of seeking help from healthcare professionals, all to ensure he has the best possible
help. Would recommend this to be a fantastic start to any child’s childcare and educational journey!

My son attends this nursery and I cannot thank these guys enough for the development he’s shown. The information via the app is appropriate and proportionate. All staff are friendly. Only down side is sometimes getting slightly soggy whilst waiting to collect your child but this is their commitment
to supporting the needs surrounding the pandemic. My child will be sad to leave when it’s time to move up.

Fantastic nursery for both of my children. My three year old currently attends and loves it. The staff are always so kind, caring, approachable and flexible. My son comes out full of everything they've done each day. We love the app to see what he's been up to. Highly recommend to anyone.

My neice absolutely adores this nursery, she is so excited to go and has the best time! She has learned so much from the staff who are constantly expanding her learning and challenging her. The things she has learned and the activities she gets up to are amazing! The staff are so amazing and the nursery
building is brilliant but even better is the outdoor space which is my niece's favourite part. She does so much exploring, growing vegetables and outdoor learning which is so great for an energetic little one. She has even done planting to plate which is growing what they eat, this has given her a brilliant food education. During Covid-19 they have done an incredible job making the nursery space as safe as possible, communicating well to the parents and carers but also explaining it all to the children so they aren't scared. A fantastic nursery run by a brilliant staff team who go the extra mile. My niece knows every member of staff by name and chats about them like they are her friends!

What an amazing nursery this is. Our youngest child has been attending for more than two years now and loves it. She’s the youngest of four and all of her brothers and sister attended before her. We’ve always been delighted with the quality of care and the thought that goes into making this an extraordinary
place for play and learning. We’re in our tenth year as a customer, yet still the nursery continues to find new and exciting ways to engage and nurture our little one. Couldn’t wish for more.

My daughter started at Flying Start @ Redruth in January of last year at the age of one. Within just a couple of weeks she had settled amazingly well thanks to the wonderful staff who have the ability to make the children and their families feel so welcome. Just a few weeks later we were hit with the
first lockdown and the scary unknown of Covid-19. Throughout the last year I cannot praise the staff enough for the level of communication, care and support during which was a scary time for all. The procedures they've put in place have felt safe all whilst maintaining a fun environment for the children to learn and play. My daughter skips into nursery and always comes out with a huge smile on her face. Can't recommend this nursery enough.

I feel that the nursery right from the staff in the offices to the carers in the play setting have been so good keeping us informed and updated all the way through from March 2020 to now. They are handling the whole Covid situation.

My son started with a flying start last summer, I was initially worried with the current restrictions that he would struggle to settle without me being able to go in/limitations of dropping him at the gate. The staff have done an amazing job of comforting and reassuring him in this new environment.
He loves nursery now and will regularly run through the gate. I feel very certain that he is being cared for and stimulated every time he goes in and I love the regular feedback and photos.
