I also appreciate the spacious garden they have for the children to run around and explore.
My son really enjoyed his time in pre-school. It helped him to develop good relationships with many children in pre-school. Staff really tried to encourage children to follow daily routines independently, which helped my son for his school transition. Thank you to all the staff and management for their help and support.
My child has just completed his second week at Teddies and I have been very impressed with the staff helping him settle in and with his progress. He is now able to sign and stack lego so his learning is really developing.
My grandson is about to leave Teddies to go to school, having been there since he was 8 months old. The nursery has a wonderful team of staff who really care about the children's development, wellbeing and happiness. They have a large outdoor space, however this is looking a little tired now but staff continue to use the area effectively ensuring the children are stimulated with a wealth of activities. My grandson is very well prepared for his transition to school thanks to the nursery.
Since joining the setting with my 1-year-old, we are extremely happy with the overall service from Teddies. The team are really lovely and seem to know so much about children and their care and learning. The setting in process was handled really delicately but it worked so well for us. We look forward to our baby's progress at Teddies. Thank you!
The activities they do with the children are exciting and engaging. The staff are fantastic at giving a detailed run down of the day and do this with sincerity and enthusiasm.
The environment and access to this nursery is very secure.
I would recommend Teddies to any parent putting their child in for more than 3 days. The only quibble I had was that for one day a week attendance it was exceptionally expensive in comparison to the local nurseries.
Fantastic nursery. Very good communication with parents. Good outdoor space and plenty of outdoor time. Staff are very committed and attentive. Staff really seem to "know" the children. Our child is always happy to go to nursery and reports very positively.
Really pleased we got a place at Teddies.
Teddies is very good at organising 'special' activities, such as Forest School, Stay & Play days and special celebrations such as Christmas Parties.
My daughter asks me "can I go to Teddies now please mummy?", what more do you want to hear as a parent?
I have a son at Teddies and a daughter who was at the nursery and now goes to school. Both are/were very happy and well looked-after there, and we in turn are very happy that they're there. I'm impressed at the careful attention that goes into helping the children to develop, at the friendly and happy atmosphere at the nursery, and at the good communication among the staff and between the staff and families. It is also very good that there's a nice big space for the children to play outside, which gets a lot of use.
Our daughter has been in the nursery since she was 11 months old and now she is 3 1/2 And to be honest I could not fault it. When we arrived at babycare we were welcomed with open arms and the staff and management were very helpful and supportive. My daughter had lots of support and thrived in her first year at teddies. When she moved to the little learners room she gained loads of confidence and explored so much. As a family we were also supported by the nursery and there were plenty of opportunities to meet other families. Now in pre school she is a confident thriving individual and we are very happy with the care and support she receives along with the discipline and range of extra curricular activities, we know she is more than ready for school.
Teddies is a great open & honest nursery. It's really important that I know if my child hasn't had a great day or know that they've only eaten a little bit of dinner. The staff really care about the kids and ensure they have fun. My daughter took a while to settle in but now she absolutely loves it. I love the fact she comes home muddy or covered in body paint. They are always outside and everyday there are new activities. She has gained so much confidence & has created friends. She come homes singing songs, counting, doing makaton which indicates that's she's learning lots too. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.
My 18month old son has been attending the baby room at Teddies for 6 months now. I feel really pleased with the level of care and attention my baby receives. He has a key carer that looks after him and this relationship is so important to him feeling secure and comfortable. I have built a great relationship with his key carer and feel confident that his needs are met whilst at Teddies. The feedback I receive at the end of the day is great and you get a sheet to take home that details what they have eaten and how they have slept etc. Although the baby room has recently gone through a few staff changes which can be u settling for the babies they have been effective in minimising these impacts. Also before my son joined I attended a few settling in sessions with him so I could see first hand how the staff interact with the babies and this gave me a lot of confidence in them. The setting of the nursery is great, away from major roads and noise and plenty of outside space.
My daughter has been attending Teddies Nursery from 10 months and is now 3 years old and I cannot believe how far she has come, she absolutely loves all the staff and is very happy at Teddies, my other daughter is also due to start in the next few months and will be 10 months also when starting, I won't be as nervous this time round as I know how great the babycare staff are. I highly recommend Teddies Nursery as I know how stressful and worrying going back to work can be, but leaving my children in there capable hands has made life so much easier and knowing how much my daughter enjoys it and is happy Is fantastic! :)
Both my children have attended teddies and I couldn't be happier and neither could they. All workers build up a lovely bond with the kids and they are always happy to go. Always lots of activities going on to keep them entertained. I would recommend teddies to anyone!
Teddies is a fantastic nursery and preschool, and my two have thrived there, enjoying each days activities, growing in confidence, learning and making new friends. The nursery staff are very professional, supportive and clearly caring of each individual child. I particularly like all the special activities they do, from deer feeding to Christmas plays, stretch & grow classes to forest school! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It's a very happy place!
I think Teddies is a great nursery. My son attended from 2 years old until he just started school this year and I strongly believe he was prepared well for the transition to big school. My daughter is still there and I am still very pleased with the level of care, attention and communication I get from staff members. One of my favourite things about first visiting Teddies was how it felt like it was in the countryside and I really liked the outside space. Compared to a lot of nurseries it is pretty special as it isn't in a built up area where naturally space is of a premium. In the summer the older children spread out onto the field which I love! Both my children have only ever done the equivalent of 2 days a week there but they seem very happy and have gained good confidence and social skills. Will always have a special place in my heart for Teddies as my kids move on to pastures new and would thoroughly recommend to other parents.
Teddies is a fantastic nursery. My daughter started here when she turned 1 years old and has just left to go to school and my son has also been here since he turned 1 and will stay until he goes to school in 2 years. The staff are very caring and build fantastic relationships with the children. The variety of activities offered is great and helps with all stages of their development. Communication from the staff in the rooms and management is excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.
Thank you very much for your positive review.
Teddies is a fantastic nursery - my daughter started when she was 1 year and has just left to go to school and my son is currently there. They provide an open, supportive, friendly and inclusive environment for the children and parents. I've been really happy with the quality of care and the way they help the children to develop, learn and grow.
By giving me/us your feedback, you are helping us to understand what we do well.
Our family has used Teddies for fours years since my daughter was 9 months old and my son still attends. We have always been impressed by the genuine warmth and care our children receive and the positive attention their carers give them. The creative range of activities that are provided for the children, particularly in the baby and toddler rooms, is excellent. The staff work very hard and are worth their weight in gold! There is not a particularly high turnover of staff like some nurseries so the children build good relationships with their carers, and most importantly, have fun! The outside space is well used, and the older children use the field in the summer too. Communication from management is efficient and friendly. My children have thrived there and their needs were well met in each room. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for your great feedback. We really appreciate it.
