Bright Horizons Bristol Day Nursery and Preschool

My daughter has been attending this nursery for a while now, I love how friendly the staff are and I love how comfortable I feel to leave my daughter in there care, any problems or concerns are always dealt with in a respectfull manner, I couldn't be more satisfied with the care and attention that goes into looking after my daughter along with the fun activities and always making sure she is happy an well looked after. Overall my only downfall is not finding this nursery sooner! My daughter is very happy here and I'm happy to see her so confident and grow even more happy & content! Many thanks Rosie

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for around 7 months, and has settled in brilliantly. The staff are all incredibly friendly and the team really make the effort to get to know the children and families, and are approachable if we need to discuss anything. Our daughter loves coming to nursery, and they always have so many different activities on offer each week to keep her engaged. She has made lots of friends and comes home telling us all about the games they play and singing new songs. They also have a good outdoor space that they usually spend time in each day whatever the weather, which my child also loves- the mid kitchen is a particular favourite! She's recently moved from the toddler room to the preschool room, and the staff have supported her transition well and I'm sure she'll continue to flourish in the new room.

My son started Bright horizons Bristol ,Clanage rd in April and I have not regretted putting him in this nursery , from me going to this nursery when I was younger to my son now going and my unborn baby on waiting list. He has fun days with his friends and learning everyday. I love going on the app and seeing pictures and updates of him, aswel as what he has had for breakfast lunch and dinner. The Menu is very nutritional and a wide range of different meals for the little ones to try new things. Jax is very comfortable going to his teachers as soon as I drop him in. Aswel as Jax being supported when he first started I felt they supported me as first time mother who was very emotional about my baby going to nursery when I usually spend all day everyday with him. They were all very welcoming to me and Jax and I love hearing all about his day from the teachers on pick up aswel as on app. Highly recommend. Very professional and welcoming. Friendly staff.

Outstanding staff and nursery! From day one of looking after my son I felt comfortable with being able to leave him in a nursery with everyone, all staff go above and beyond for children and parents. Every morning the nursery is clean and tidy for when children arrive, brilliant chef that cooks great meal choices for the children. My son loves coming here and has learned so many new things with the help of the brilliant staff.

They really care for my daughter and everyone has made us feel very welcome. It feels like a big family! I am so happy we found this nursery and I have complete trust and faith in the team.

Absolutely lovely nursery! Our daughter just loves to go there and we can tell the difference how great she is developing under their leadership. Staff there are always nice to her and us and the manager is brilliant, thank you all guys! :)

My son loves this nursery! I love this nursery. They are friendly, caring and kind, really catering to the needs of the children. The food is cooked onsite, fresh and tasty. My son has settled there so quickly and is learning so much. The nursery cares about the relationship with each child and with the families as well. I'm so pleased to have found such a wonderful environment where I can leave him and feel safe in the knowledge that he is being well cared for and having a lovely time. What more could you want than knowing your child is happy and well cared for. Thank you.

My son has been at Bright Horizons for 6 months now and he’s come on leaps and bounds. The staff are super friendly and form great bonds with the kids! Keeping an eye on their development and helping them progress. Would highly recommend sending yours there!

Our daughter has been attending nursery for the last 18 months and the staff have been absolutely fantastic. From the daily updates on mealtimes and varied activities to the caring, supportive and loving atmosphere the staff have created, I trust our daughter is being well looked after and nurtured by the whole team in these crucial early years. As she’s transitioned from one room to the next, the team have been incredibly supportive to both our daughter and us too! You never know what to expect when you start a new nursery - especially when it’s your first child but I can highly recommend this wonderful setup and the professional team here.

My daughter has the best time at nursery, all the nursery staff are so friendly and supportive to all of the children and parents. There is a happy and relaxed feel to the nursery, it’s clean, we are constantly updated with what she’s eaten, any activities, when she’s slept, so they really keep on top of everything which really sets my mind at ease. I wouldn’t send her anywhere else.

I had no idea what to expect from a nursery, but I am so so thankful that I found this one! The staff are amazing, my son is always happy there. Activities and meals always seem well thought out. Everyone seems very happy and I think this absolutely shows in the children. I feel very safe and secure with my son being there.

My daughter joined the baby room at seven months and really enjoys the nursery. The team really look after her, take care to develop her and keep her entertained! They are lovely to communicate with and really make me feel she's safe and well cared for every time I drop her off.

We have been using this nursery for over 2 years now and both of our children attend full time. Both kids love it and have really settled. They have built good relationships with their key workers and peers. Even on the days when they kick up a fuss about us leaving them, the staff are patient and kind and will update us to give us that reassurance that they are fine. All staff are friendly and caring towards the children and even the chef will interact with them which demonstrates a really good team spirit within the nursery. The facilities are good and the kids enjoy a wide range of activities and food. Even though our kids are in different rooms they still get the opportunity to interact together be that in the garden or if one of them is upset and needs the other one the staff will facilitate this. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons for the last 4 months, and attends four days a week. My little one struggled with the transition, to begin with, the staff were nothing but kind and attentive and patient with my little one (and me!) and supported her with this big step. Fast forward to today and my daughter loves her nursery days and actively grabs her shoes ready to go on her days in. From a day-to-day aspect, the team are always happy to give a little update on what activities they’ve done during the day, but you also have the nursery app, where you can check in on your little one in relation to their food and sleep activity throughout the day. The meals are well thought out, with a wide variety provided week by week (with the bonus of not having to think about lunchboxes yourself). In addition, in the app, the room provides a weekly update against what they have done through the week i.e. water play, painting etc, which helps with ideas for home etc.

My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons, Bower Ashton since 2020 and has loved going since her first day. She loves the staff there and gets so excited for nursery days. Highly recommend this nursery, the staff are fantastic.

We have two children at Bright Horizons, Bristol Day Nursery and Preschool and are happy to give it a 5-star review for both. The team are excellent, kind and fantastically supportive. Our children have created real bonds with their key workers and look forward to seeing them every day. The setting is great and they love the outdoor space and pirate ship! Our, usually fussy, children love the food too. There is always a variety of interesting dishes (better than I do at home). The app is also noteworthy. It allows you to keep track of all the important events in the day like eating and sleeping and the team are really good at keeping this updated. Happy to recommend the nursery to prospective parents.

Our son has had a brilliant time settling into Bright Horizons, Bristol Day Nursery and Preschool and has been attending for around four months now. Being just over 1 year old when he started, we were apprehensive at first (never having been through the nursery process before!), but he absolutely loves it and seems to have bonded so well with the staff in the babies room. We're kept informed about his day and love to hear what he's been getting up to at pick-up. The app is great too, keeping us up-to-date with his meals, sleeps (nappy changes) and photos/updates around what he's been up to and what the team are working on with him, to support his development (and suggestions we can take forward). The staff are absolutely brilliant, we couldn't ask for more from the team and we know he's in safe hands. This has made the experience really easy and enjoyable all round.

My daughter is really happy at Bright Horizons. She is really well looked after and is thriving there. The staff are all welcoming, warm, caring and helpful. Activities are different and help to improve her skills and independence.

Our son has been going to this nursery for almost a year, being a ‘pandemic baby’ my husband and I were nervous about the whole nursery experience! But Bright Horizon’s couldn’t have been more accommodating. We drive 15 mins to send our son there and twice have been offered nursery places closer to home, but always decline. We love the baby room, with its quiet nap space and now our son is in the toddler room. We love the outdoor space, he gets a lot of fresh air and his day is filled with fun activities. The nursery have an app where you can see how long they’ve slept, what they ate, photos from the day etc and as new ‘pandemic parents’ we really needed this. The staff are great and very focused on settling in and comforting. Also, they’re very quick at responding to emails and messages. You do pay a bit more for this nursery, but with flexible pick up and drop off times, this is essential for working parents! Thanks.
