Magic Roundabout Nursery Bristol

Fantastic nursery and our son loves it here. He settled in quickly and all the staff are fantastic and very friendly. The nursery has great rooms and a lovely outdoor area and we also love the events and activities they put on regularly. The app is really useful and well-updated throughout the day.

My 2.5-year-old is so happy here. The staff care so much, there’s a lot of outside play and a good variety of activities. The app is a great resource for keeping parents up-to-date. The manager and the team in the office have created a really great culture throughout the nursery and lots of the staff have been around for a while, creating a really stable, nurturing environment.

Both our children have/do attend this nursery and we've always been very happy with it. The staff are just lovely and clearly take pride in the care they provide for the children. It's a very happy, friendly environment with lots of interesting things for the children to do!

I’ve given a lower score for value for money - not because Magic Roundabout Nursery is overpriced but because all childcare in the country is obscenely expensive. We pay more for nursery than our mortgage!

Our daughter has attended Magic Roundabout Nursery Bristol since June 2022. We'd initially intended to send our daughter to a very highly oversubscribed nursery which we got a place for, but we got such a warm vibe when we toured Magic Roundabout that we changed our plans. We are so thrilled we did! The staff are incredible. They are warm, kind, and are clearly highly trained. We feel lucky to have them in our lives and are grateful for the wonderful work they do. Staff retention also seems good. I get the sense from chatting to staff that they like working there and that they like each other, which helps add to the familial vibe of the setting. The staff really know my daughter well. As a same-sex couple, we have felt really welcomed by the setting. We love the events the nursery runs for families (ice cream afternoons, storytime, Mother's/Father's Day breakfasts). As Magic Roundabout is open 7.30 am to 7 pm (compared to 8 am to 6 pm at other local nurseries), we have more flexibility in our work days.

My children learn so much from the activities and materials that are made available to them! The practitioners are friendly and caring. They have supported us with tackling unwanted behaviour and making the children feel welcome. The management team is very approachable and understanding. There have recently been many opportunities for parents to engage with the management team. I really appreciate the flexibility around drop-off and pick-up times. Overall, Magic Roundabout is a wonderful place for our family!

Our eldest has been at Magic Roundabout Nursery since June 2020 and our youngest since March 2022 and they are so happy there. The staff are warm and welcoming and really make them feel loved and all of us feel part of a community. The girls have formed lovely friendships with other children and bonds with their key workers. They are actively preparing our preschoolers for school in September and always communicate well with parents either in person or via the app. We will be sad when our time at Magic Roundabout Nursery inevitably comes to an end!

It's all about the staff - they are all fantastic. The building, although a great space, is very old and a bit tired looking and it's one of the cheaper nurseries in Bristol (when we first looked and compared back in 2016) but don't be put off by that. The love, care and affection that the staff show to the children is evident whenever you are there. All of the staff know all of the children's names right through from the baby room all the way up to the preschool. Both the level of care and relationships the staff have with the children is exceptionally good. Both my children have thrived at Magic Roundabout, building a great rapport with their teachers and making lasting friendships that have made the transition to school seamless. Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

We are very happy in Magic Roundabout! We came from a different nursery where my kid was coming home every day tired and nervous. We spoke with some families whose kids attended this nursery and recommended it to us. Since we are in Magic Roundabout, he has a lot of friends, loves spending time in the nursery and with his teachers and every day come home with a smile. They are all kind and friendly and also the families in the nursery seams to share similar values to us. I have old kids too and they always want to come with me and collect their brother, they love the nursery garden, the colour of the building and the decorations. I always recommend the nursery to my friends.

A wonderful nursery and preschool, the staff and management are fantastic and it's a great place for my son to go. He has really settled in well there and I am very happy that we have a space there.

We absolutely love this nursery. Our son has been attending for the past two years and has thrived from their love and caring attention. All the staff are so professional and caring blending days of fun and education for the children. I trust them to do the very best for our child and they don’t disappoint.

Our son absolutely loves going to Magic Roundabout Nursery and we really see him develop and thrive as the months go past, he’s been attending since age 1 and now at age 3 is loving preschool. The staff are all wonderfully caring, friendly and enthusiastic. Would highly recommend this great setting.

My eldest daughter started attending Magic Roundabout Nursery when she was one and went for four years until she started school. My second daughter is two and has been attending for over a year now. They have both had a wonderful time, and it is always nice to drop off happy children who want to be at nursery. The practitioners clearly know and care about the children. I didn't know much about Magic Roundabout when the girls started, but I think we got very lucky. I have since recommended it to friends, who are all happy with the nursery.

The staff and management are so caring and lovely. Our daughter is so happy at the nursery, learns new things every day and loves the staff. They all make the nursery the perfect place to grow, learn and be happy.

As many parents are I was anxious about putting my 1-year-old in nursery when it was time to return back to work. The team at Magic Roundabout have been absolutely amazing with the care and kindness they have shown my son. He has learned so much in his time there and always talks about the fun activities that he does during the day. When I pick him up he's often getting 1 to 1 time with the staff, be it reading a book on their laps or getting cuddles. Everyone at the nursery is friendly and very welcoming. They are all very easy to chat to and great at communicating any information or concerns that they have. They have played a huge role in my sons learning and cannot recommend them enough!

We are really happy to send our kids to Magic Roundabout. The staff are really caring and kind. They seem to have fun. There is good communication and are always happy to accommodate stuff like cloth nappies and treatment for eczema.

We have had such a positive experience with Magic Roundabout - Bristol. Our son loves going to nursery and all the staff that work there. I get such a good feeling when I drop him off. All the staff are incredible. What a bunch of superstars. Thank you everyone.
