Magic Roundabout Nursery Bristol

We have two daughters who have attended magic roundabout nursery, the eldest has just left after 4 happy years. We are always confident that they are well looked after and cared for. The children enjoy a range of activities and plenty of outdoor time. The staff in the office and rooms are caring, sensible and are always quick to respond to any issues.

We could not have asked for a better start to our daughter's early years. She attended from age 1 through to 4½, and throughout that entire time she was cared for with such kindness, patience, and genuine affection.

She was always excited to go to nursery each day, which as a parent is one of the best signs that your child feels safe, happy, and loved. She made wonderful friendships, adored her teachers, and came home every day full of stories and smiles. The staff created such a nurturing environment where she was able to grow in confidence, develop socially, and learn through play.

We are incredibly grateful for everything the nursery has done for our daughter and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any family.

My son has been at MRN for two and a half years and his experience as a child and ours as parents has been exemplary. The nursery is clearly very well run. You can see this in the clarity of communication, the smoothness of operations and the positive and friendly demeanor of the team. The app is very well used and I really value the daily reports and regular updates with pictures.

The children are happy and the range of activities keeps my son engaged. Outdoor space is limited but is made excellent use of. I've also greatly enjoyed the events I've been invited to attend such as storytelling or Christmas carols. I also like the international nature of the experience with a good mix of nationalities both within the team and the amongst the children.

Finally a mention of the food. MRN has two in-house chefs who prepare a diverse range of healthy meals which my son devours most of on a daily basis. I often remark that these must be the best fed toddlers in Bristol! All round very good!

We as a family love the diversity across the team at Magic Roundabout, it is something that drew us to apply for our daughter to go there. The team have been amazing and I cannot thank each and every one of them enough for looking after our daughter so well. We were recommended this nursery through friends and we would highly recommend it to others. Thank you to all of the team for looking after our daughter!

We have had a grateful experience since our daughter went to nursery. We would like to thank you every member of staff , everyone has been wonderful. But our big thank you is for Inés, Raquel and Doina. They have been such an amazing support for our daughter , she has enjoyed her time so much.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my child's time at the nursery. She has thoroughly enjoyed it, and the staff are professional, friendly, and caring. There's a good mix of activities, storytelling, and outdoor play, and I appreciate the structured routine and support with potty training and hygiene. The manager is knowledgeable, hands-on, and approachable. It's lovely to see photos on the app showing what she's been up to, though it would be great to have a few more. Only improvements are the app could also be updated more consistently with meals and toileting details, which used to be recorded more often. More variety and freshly cooked food would also be appreciated. Finally, handovers could be clearer when the main staff member has finished for the day - a brief note or update on the iPad would help other staff relay the information to parents. Overall, I'm very happy with the care provided and grateful for the team's hard work and dedication! Would 100% recommend this nursery!

Our daughter has been at Magic Roundabout since she was 13 months old, and she absolutely loves it. She settled in straight away. We never have any problems at drop-off. She waves goodbye and runs into the arms of the baby room workers. I can tell she absolutely adores them, especially her key worker Maria. Our daughter's development has sky-rocketed. She regularly comes home with new tricks: she started counting to ten when she was 1.5 years old, always singing new songs they've taught her. She loves to socialize and play with her friends, and she seems really happy with the meals. The nursery takes great care of her. They're very accommodating and flexible. The operating hours are 7:30-7, so we never have to worry about rushing to pick her up after work. The nursery regularly hosts parent events so families can get to know one another. I can't say enough good things about Magic Roundabout- we feel so lucky to have a slot!

Both of our children attended Magic Roundabout Nursery Bristol and I can't speak highly enough about their experience and the support for their early years. The staff cared for every child and got to know them individually. They were kind and thoughtful and made us feel very safe leaving our children in their care. Everyone took the time to get to know us and the children, and showed great levels of interaction and engagement. Our children thrived and developed well, learning new skills both academically and socially. They celebrated each other and different cultures regularly and made everyone feel welcome and special. I would absolutely recommend MRN as an early years setting to anyone looking for a safe and caring environment for their children's early years.

They have regular events to mark dates on the calendar - fathers day, mothers day, Easter, Christmas, cultural events etc. The children also put on performances for the parents in the garden and this is something our son loves practising for. We're kept up to date through an app and get regular updates on our sons development and what he's been up to. I've got no hesitation in recommending Magic Roundabout.

We have been so happy with our experience of the Magic Roundabout nursery since our son started there over 18 months ago. The practitioners all make such an amazing effort with the children and have helped our son to develop into such a confident and happy little boy. We are constantly amazed at how much he learns, from numbers to encouraging natural curiosity. The space is excellent and we are particularly happy that there is a good sized outside space and lots of room to play. We would definitely recommend the nursery.

My son moved to Magic Roundabout from another nursery and we have noticed a huge difference in how much he enjoys coming to nursery. The staff here are amazing, they are so caring and really knowledgeable about child development. You can tell that they all love being around children and that they truly care about creating a wonderful environment for children to learn and play in. As a parent, it is so reassuring to me that all the staff know my son and greet him with a smile by his name, even staff who don't work in his room. They make him feel special and he has a beautiful bond with his key person who has made a huge effort to help him feel happy at nursery from his first settling in session. Communication is very good and lots of effort is put into involving parents and we love coming to special events like storytelling. There is a very warm and loving feeling at the nursery which is the most important thing, however it's also great value for money compared to other local nurseries.

MRN is a great place for our little ones. The staff are really friendly. We get up to date information via the app regularly. There are lots of extra activities where parents can attend to celebrate the diversity of the nursery community.

3. That every staff member, no matter if they are in another class knows my child and interacts with them

Very happy with Magic Roundabout for our son (for 2.5 years now). A caring, nurturing environment, staff are lovely. He has fun and seems to learn something new each day. It'll be a wrench when school eventually beckons!

Everyone at the nursery was superb and our daughter thrived there. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a supportive, warm and nurturing environment for their child. We felt very reassured our child was receiving excellent care.

Love everything about the nursery. Facilities are great, play areas are always evolving, and seem to be organised with care and love. The staff, including the cooks, is very friendly, they all know the kid's name. Seems like a family for the kids. I know that there is a kitchen in the nursery, which is positive and hopefully means that the food is mostly homemade however, I regret not having more photos or/and tasting as I feel I don't know what my child eats. A menu is not enough to know about quality and quantity.

I would say a happy child is the best proof they doing well at nursery. Our little one wants to go in and is having the best time. Learning and developing loads. Each week we can see massive progress in his confidence and talking.

I have loved Magic Roundabout nursery. They have been so accommodating, resourceful and flexible with all my requests. They have taken great care of my child, who went in as a shy toddler and came out so confident and happy. I have also enjoyed the socials which have been a great opportunity to meet other parents. Great nursery!
