The staff are wonderful. My eldest attended 6 years ago and we've come back with my youngest because this is such a fantastic nursery. They have recently done a refurb inside which looks great and I think the outside play areas are being updated soon as well. The manager is great, she's always been
so welcoming and looked after us. It really is the staff that make this nursery special, thank you to all of them.

I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. Every single member of staff is so kind and caring and they have such a lovely bond with my daughter. She has developed so much socially since going to this nursery and is learning lots in preparation for school.

I believe the most important thing about a nursery is the staff - their warmth, enthusiasm and dedication to what is a really difficult job. The staff at Mama Bear's in Crews Hole have all of that in spades and we couldn’t be happier with how they look after the children who attend. They really know
and understand our three-year-old and work hard to encourage his development on all fronts. He has had a great experience there since he started as a baby and I’m looking forward to starting my youngest at the nursery this summer.

My son is 3 1/4 and has been going to Mama Bears in Crew's Hole since he was 1. The staff are amazing! They always open the door with big smiles, and help our little boy to feel welcome and cared for. He often includes them in his list of best friends! They've made an effort to get to know our family,
as well as respecting our wishes. We've never fed judged or rushed in how we've approached weaning, potty training, sleeping etc, and they have always reflected our choices where possible. Since moving to the pre-school room, we can see how much more independent our son is becoming and we're amazed how much he has already learned with their support. Highly recommend.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 11 months old (October 2019). She is now in preschool and will shortly be going to school. The nursery has been absolutely amazing with her. The staff are all wonderful and my daughter always gets such a warm welcome when we arrive. It always feels
like the staff are happy to see her, and that she is a part of a big family there. She has made lots of friends during her time at the nursery, and her confidence has grown massively. I feel so happy knowing that she is having a good time while I am at work, and it has prepared her really well for when she goes to school. I would definitely recommend the nursery and all of the wonderful staff!

My daughter started in the baby room back in January 2020. I was a single mum and my daughter was attached to me, but the staff at Crews Hole made the whole experience/process of dropping off for nursery so easy, just as my daughter got settled we hit lockdown, but when she went back in the August it
was like she had never been gone, went straight in and has loved every minute of nursery since. My daughter starts school this September and I couldn't have been happier with the experience she has got at Crews Hole Mama Bear's. The staff have also been so welcoming to me and have helped when I've had concerns/needed a chat. We will 100% miss seeing their faces in September when we take our next journey.

My son is so happy at this nursery. The staff are amazing, really friendly and I know they genuinely care for the kids and take their development seriously. They feed them really healthy meals and tea which I have not found to be common in other nurseries but has saved our evenings and my little boy
is not starving when he gets home and can have a small dinner or snack. We will be sad to leave Mama Bear's this year when my son goes to school but if we have another child would definitely look to send them here.

Our daughter (coming up to 3 years old) has attended Mama Bear's nursery in Crews Hole since she turned 1. She absolutely loves nursery days and settled in really quickly from the start. The nursery, and all the staff - her key worker, were all so accommodating of her nap and food schedule when she
started.
There are always lots of activities going on at the nursery, and various cultural events (for different ethnicities) are marked which is brilliant.
The staff are all very caring, and our daughter feels very comfortable and happy being at nursery. We would recommend this nursery, and will also be sending our second baby to this nursery in the near future.

My daughter has attended Mama Bear's Day Nursery Crews Hole for 2 years now, she really enjoys the time she spends in nursery and has built valuable bonds with many staff and children. She often comes home chatting about what she's been doing in the day and mentions positive things about staff members.
The staff are always welcoming and chatty, always have time to talk to parents and take the time to explain any issues or occurrences. I really cannot fault anything about this nursery, the staff and facilities here are amazing and they all work so hard. I'd definitely recommend the setting to anyone considering Mama Bears Crews Hole.

I have been happy with Mama Bear's Day Nursery. The staff are all fantastic and friendly making sure to give you lots of updates. The apps they use to provide learning and daily diary updates are brilliant. I always know how my child is getting on. The nursery is so approachable and I know I am always
heard when it comes to my child's needs. The children get lots of time outside which is great for my child. The garden is enclosed so I know they are safe. I would highly recommend Mama Bears.

Mama Bear’s has been an absolutely fantastic setting for our daughter. She’s thrived there. The staff always greet you with a smile and the children have all formed wonderful bonds with them. It is a well-structured and supportive childcare setting. I would highly recommend it to anyone I know.

Crew’s Hole Mama Bear's is a fantastic nursery. It’s like a family. The kids love it. They have great activities and fabulous food and learn so much there. They go in happily and we are really content with the love and care they receive. Highly recommend.

My son is 1 year old and has been going to this nursery for a month now and already I have noticed a change in him and a very positive change at that. Before going he was almost at the walking stage and after 2 days there with other children socialising he’s nonstop walking and is a lot more playful.
The staff care for the children and you can see the connection they have with them. I can’t recommend them enough.

Our experience with Mama Bears Crews Hole has been excellent to date. Our daughter settled in so well over a graded period of a few days. Her speech, mobility, social skills and personality have developed so quickly and in ways that we couldn’t have imagined. She is so happy to go to nursery every day
and talks about all of the members of staff when she’s at home, even the ones who don’t look after her directly!
All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming and really make you feel like your child is in safe hands and in a place where they can thrive. They give the children so many opportunities to play and discover new things, and everything they do helps to work towards development goals individual to each child.
The nursery also uses a great app so you can see what your child is eating, nappy changes, sleep times and also photos/videos of their day so you can really feel involved and create a transition from home to nursery and vice versa. I 100% recommend it!

I could not rate this nursery more highly. Both of my children have attended, my youngest is still there. They have helped tremendously to instil good manners in children! They are always planning new and exciting themes to entertain the kids. They are incredibly accommodating, personally, I used cloth
nappies and potty trained my kids at 2, and they had no issues helping with this. There was a period when staff shortages nationally meant our youngest attended other nurseries, it was at this point I realised how lucky we are at Crews Hole. They helped my eldest with her transition to school being incredibly accommodating for the settling-in period. My son has some food intolerances and they have no issues accommodating this. Both of my children loved the practitioners, I honestly could not speak highly enough about this nursery. Both my children started in the baby room and I will be very sad when my youngest has to leave.

Mama Bear's Crew Hole is a wonderful setting to have your children in. Both our kids have passed through the nursery and both have left happy and fulfilled every time they've been. When our daughter started she was very nervous but the staff were brilliant and helped her settle in really well, making
a huge fuss of her whenever she arrived and distracting her with activities/snacks/cuddles when it was time for us to leave!
Our Son left a few years back but he's always welcomed into the setting whenever he comes on the pick-up run and they show a genuine interest in how he's progressing through school. The food is always great and we only wish we could get the kids to eat as much of our food as they do for the chef.
The manager is great, receives all of our chopping and changing with a smile and always tries her best to accommodate any requests we make.
Can't recommend them enough!

Our little boy loves coming to nursery, he has a very close group of friends who he talks about all the time. He really likes all of the key workers/practitioners and he enjoys telling us about what everyone has been doing. He especially enjoyed a trip out along the river, birdwatching with binoculars.

I've had both my children go to Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Crews Hole) for the last 6 years. They have been nothing but amazing. Always very supportive and focused on the children. My children have always been happy to go and love the practitioners. The manager is very involved with the kids too.

Stacey has been managing Crews Hole since 2013 and loves every aspect of her role.
