Blossom Tree, located near Portishead’s vibrant marina, is a nursery school full of wonder and learning.

Inside the nursery, rooms are tailored to meet the needs of children aged from 4 months to 5 years. The large rooms use natural resources to create an inviting home-from-home environment. Outside, children benefit from a purpose-built wooden structure for toddlers as well as an allotment, all ensuring that they can connect with nature through a variety of outdoor experiences.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework as well as the Storal approach to curriculum, the team work hard to ensure every child is given the opportunity to learn, explore and develop at a pace that suits them.

Meals are freshly prepared by the onsite chef using locally sourced food. Older children also participate in meal preparation and enjoy assisting in the kitchen. Mealtimes are an opportunity for children to refuel, be sociable and learn about nutrition.

All staff are very friendly and really care about the children and their development.
The handovers at the end of the day are comprehensive.
The premises are clean and pleasant. They make best use of the outside space.
Downside: It is very hot in the summer and due to the physical layout it is difficult
to get a breeze through. Saying that, the staff have appreciated this and taken steps to combat - extra fluids, ice cream, cool activities.

My kids both enjoy/ed it here. The indoor space is open, accessible and varied without being crowded. The outdoor space is user friendly and well utilised. The staff show a genuine interest in the children and are enthusiastic and excited to see them learn and develop. They have been very accommodating
to our routine which is in some instances different from how they would normally do things. The office staff are welcoming and happy to help with any queries we've had. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend them.

All staff are friendly to the parents and very welcoming to the children. From the office to the child’s room they all know the names of the children which makes my daughter feel comfortable even when she is having a clingy day!

Both my children attend Honey Tree and from the moment I walked in to have a look around over three years ago I knew it was where I would send my children. The staff all genuinely love the children, I've always felt confident leaving my children with them knowing that my wishes/instructions will be
followed and that everything the children will do will be engaging, fun as well as helping them to make progress on their learning and understanding of the world.
My oldest is in preschool and loves every single day that he attends and my youngest is in the baby room where he has settled in so well which I believe is all down to the staff.

I have used Honeytree for both my girls and find the staff to be friendly and approachable. My girls have both enjoyed their time at Honeytree and thrived. They are very good at end of day communication, letting me know how they have done and what they have been doing. One thing I have really noticed
which seems trivial but my girls always come back relatively clean compared to other settings where they are caked in paint or pen or dirt. My girls are kept clean and only a few stain issues over the year compared to every day at other settings. The facilities are very good. Parking can be a pain but other than that the location is good.

Honeytree has been a very happy experience for both of our children. The staff team are very friendly, they get to know the children well and give detailed feedback at the end of each session. We feel they receive a great level of care and we have seen them develop well during their time here. Elements
of the practice has changed over time and this has impacted negatively upon the ethos which attracted us to the nursery in the first place.

All staff - room staff and management - were exceptionally accomodating during my son's start at nursery. He struggled emotionally, to begin with, as he'd never been in a childcare setting away from home before, but I felt great care and attention was given to putting his needs first, and he is now
thriving. Staff also engaged with me closely, during this time, as I also needed a bit of support through his transition. This was very reassuring.


He loves his key worker very much and will often ask about staff between sessions.


There appears to be a real sense of equality within the staff team.


I'm always impressed with how happy and approachable everyone is.


The place is always immaculately clean.


Very happy and would recommend.

My daughter has been at Honeytree for 2 years and in that time I feel that she has learnt a great deal and the staff are great, but when it comes to the management well that's another thing. I asked if my daughter could change from a morning session to an afternoon session, so that we could take her
with us to see her mum have a baby scan and tell her she's going to have a brother or sister but all they said was that there were no spaces but there were spaces in the afternoon I could pay for. So I would like to thank the management for spoiling what was going to be a very special moment for my daughter.

I'm extremely impressed with Honeytree! Not only is it a beautiful, clean and happy setting but the staff are amazing and the management team very efficient! Communication between parent, key worker and management are great and effective! I always felt very much supported through difficult periods like
late speech development or growth problems. My four children have attended 3 previous settings and Honeytree is a top quality nursery and preschool! The kids settled extremely quickly and go to their sessions happily! They made good friends and feel comfortable with their key worker! I would recommend them to any prospective parent!

My daughter attended preschool at Honeytree and we have been delighted with the professional yet friendly and caring approach right through from her settling in a year ago to her leaving for school this summer. Will be sad for her to leave and not see some of the staff who have had a big impact on her

I am so pleased with the high quality of care, love and attention that the Honey Tree offers to my two year old. They are always willing to answer questions that I may have or alleviate my worries! My daughter has come on leaps and bounds in her development since she has been going to the Honey Tree,
and her confidence has grown wonderfully.
All the staff are kind, reassuring and pleasant to deal with. Love this nursery. I sing it's praises to all my friends and family!

The Honeytree nursery is a great place for my daughter. She loves all of the staff and always had a good time. I feel confident that she is well cared for and safe here. My daughter always has nice things to say about everyone and enjoys all of the activities they have to offer including painting, water
play, babies and dolls, books and outside play. We are 100% satisfied with our choice of nursery.

My shy 3 years old started nursery in the beginning of May 2016, we could already seen him more confidence in himself and coming out of his shell and more open to new faces, both children and adults.


He was crying on the first week and really settling in now after a month been in the nursery, thanks

to the fantastic staff who looking after him in the nursery.


We are really happy to see him flourishing in front of our own eyes in such a short space of time, thank you.

The staff at Honeytree are second to none, the management polite, swift and effective and the carers kind, observant and loving. My Son loves going to nursery and doesn't want to leave in the evenings. He always comes home with new skills, a happy face and a clean nappy.
I am happy to recommend Honeytree
to friends and family as a believe the care and learning the best I have experienced and excellent value for money.

Very friendly and also so welcoming, all the staff are. New door security fobs are brilliant. Meals are also very healthy and my child loves them. The new revamp is amazing and gives all the children more space and independence when using the toilet etc.

Honeytree have been really welcoming and friendly since the beginning for us, they are extremely flexible and accommodating/ understanding. Everyone is really professional and the staff seem to be always striving for best practice and training to further themselves.
The setting isn't massive but they
have used the space really well and have lovely resources. The outdoor area is loved by the children and they use it a lot.
My daughter comes home singing new songs I've not heard before and mentions things she's been learning. She settled really well and enjoys going every day.
The setting us safety conscious and I feel confident about leaving my child there.

My son has been going to Honeytree for a few months now, he has some separation issues at drop off but the staff in the room have been amazing with him, even the office staff are great when I ring up for an update. He always has a wonderful time and talks a lot about nursery at home. We are very happy

Honey Tree have been exceptional at settling my very shy 2.5 year old son into nursery.


He has developed and grown in confidence over the past month with the help and guidance of Honey Tree staff.


Honey Tree has fantastic facilities inside and the food always smells delicious as I am leaving in
