Blossom Tree, located near Portishead’s vibrant marina, is a nursery school full of wonder and learning.

Inside the nursery, rooms are tailored to meet the needs of children aged from 4 months to 5 years. The large rooms use natural resources to create an inviting home-from-home environment. Outside, children benefit from a purpose-built wooden structure for toddlers as well as an allotment, all ensuring that they can connect with nature through a variety of outdoor experiences.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework as well as the Storal approach to curriculum, the team work hard to ensure every child is given the opportunity to learn, explore and develop at a pace that suits them.

Meals are freshly prepared by the onsite chef using locally sourced food. Older children also participate in meal preparation and enjoy assisting in the kitchen. Mealtimes are an opportunity for children to refuel, be sociable and learn about nutrition.

My son has been going to Honeytree since September and he is really enjoying it. He has come on in leaps and bounds with his speech and social skills. He always comes home and talks about his teachers and friends which I love as it shows to me that he has built relationships and friendships and enjoys
it. I love the updates we get each day to let me know what my son has been doing throughout the day and what his eating is like at nursery.
I also love that the activities are varied and always something my son enjoys.

My son started only a few months ago and took a little longer to settle in than others due to always being with mummy but the staff were amazing at ways to help him settle. Now he runs in quicker than I can say goodbye to him without even giving me a kiss goodbye.
From a childcare background myself
I wanted a place that felt like home the minute you walked in that was bright and colourful and not dark and dull like some of the places I've visited. I wanted staff that got down to the child’s level with a big smile and showed an interest in what they were saying or doing.
The minute I walked into busy bees I knew this was the place even before I stepped through to the children’s rooms it was toasty and warm and very clean and not cluttered.
The rooms themselves are big, bright, airy with lots of different toys and activities for the children to stimulate their minds and so much different sensory items on hand.
Then we got to the outside and even at my age, I wanted to go and play.

Both of my children are/have attended this nursery. The staff are great, professional but caring and loving to the kids.
Both my children have great memories being there and enjoyed there time.

We have been delighted with the care our child receives at Honeytree. He loves it and talks about the staff with such fondness. The staff are very supportive and make a big effort to include the parents with regular parents evenings, updates and photos of your child’s day, summer fetes and a nativity

My son started at Honeytree when he was 9-months-old. The nursery was great at making me feel at ease on the induction days, my son has grown so much in confidence and with his development from his time at the nursery. Plus we are really grateful for how the nursery has been so helpful with updates
through coronavirus and supporting our family with getting my son back to the nursery. Honeytree is a lovely nursery where my son thrives. I would thoroughly recommend.

My son has thrived since starting Honeytree. He started quite shy and timid, and now he will happily walk in alone and run and play. His communication has improved dramatically and he’s a lot more social even on walks he will stop and wave at other children. The nursery itself is lovely, you can tell
the staff all love the children, they go above and beyond to make you and your child feel settled and happy.

During the sudden and drastic impact of the Covid19 pandemic, the nursery has gone above and beyond to maintain their highest standards of love, care and nurturing of my son whilst he continues to attend to enable me to work. I had this nursery recommended to me, and it has been fantastic for my daughter who started when she was one. We were both a bit nervous, but the nursery staff were amazing, and my daughter soon became confident and happy at drop off. She enjoys her time here and is developing lots of new skills. She
eats well, and had made friends both staff and children. They fill the day with lots of activities and are quick to keep you updated with your child's day. We would not hesitate to recommend to new families.

My son had to move nurseries unexpectedly in January. We were recommended Honeytree by friends whose children attend. Fortunately, the staff at Honeytree helped my son settle very quickly and he really enjoys it. The activities are varied and structured. He loves the food, he does yoga, he’s learning
to write. He’s doing very well. We always get a very detailed handover and he comes home with lovely artwork he’s done. He has lots of friends. We’re very happy with the hardworking staff that make it such a pleasure for them.

Lovely staff and facilities, especially the outdoor play areas. My son has been attending since April 2018 and loves it. They have also helped him to try more food as he is a very fussy eater and have helped him with potty training which we were struggling with.

My daughter has attended this setting for over two years and absolutely loves it. The staff are great and everyone is very friendly and professional. They do great work in terms of the development of the children but balance this out well with play and outdoor activities. The facilities are good and
the outdoor space is excellent.
We are updated every session, with detailed information and they really encourage the kids to be confident and kind. Whilst my daughter will be attending a different setting now, we are also keeping her in Honeytree because we know that she would not want to leave!

What a fantastic nursery and pre-school. Both of our children have gone to Honeytree and they have loved every minute.
Other notable points:
Updates at the end of the day about what they have eaten, what the did etc.
Flexible when you can pick your child up.
They use outdoors a lot (their garden
is sweet and of course kid friendly).
Our children have made friends from their classes and so have we!
Good security (fob to access gates which only works at certain times).

The childcare provided at Honeytree is first class. The nursery staff put our son first at all times. His needs are well catered for/. He is very happy there. The nursery staff go further still and take time to look out for the whole family, which when you're a busy family balancing work and nursery,

I have 2 children at Honeytree Day Nursery and both thoroughly enjoy it there and are thriving and learning so much every day! All three of my children have been to Honeytree Day Nursery my oldest is 4years old and my youngest is 7months all of them love it there and have made big bonds with the adults there. My 2year old's speech has come along so well whilst attending Honeytree the staff are friendly nice and so welcoming
they listen to you about the child routines and go by this.
I would definitely recommend Honeytree Day Nursery.

For me the nursery does everything you would expect, I don't think it excels at anything and personally certain areas I would not except any lesser standards, and staff turnover has been far too high.
