Blossom Tree Nursery School

We have been attending Blossom Tree for two years now. My daughter's language skills have really developed since starting Preschool. She always seems so happy to go and tells me about all her friends and what they all did together that day.

The nursery is a great place with friendly staff who are invested in the children. Our child loves going and is developing so well due to the staff commitment to learning. The staff team are supportive of individual childrens needs and always provide great updates on our child.

My little girl loves going to Blossom Tree and has such a close bond with all of the nursery staff - especially her key worker. They are all so caring and offer lots of love and comfort when needed. They organise loads of fun and educational activities. They got my little girl doing baby signing which really helped her express herself and now her language is coming along so well too. Really glad we chose this place, it is such a lovely nursery and I could not recommend it enough.

All the staff are so friendly and amazing with our very shy boy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to friends and family. We had been offered a space back at our old nursery (shut down due to staffing issues), but our son is too happy here to contemplate moving back, even though it would make our commute a lot easier.

My daughter has been at Honeytree Day Nursery & Pre-school - Portishead for 18-months now and recently progressed to the toddlers. The facilities at the nursery, especially the garden are amazing. All the staff are incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their faces when greeting children in the morning. The transition from baby room to toddlers was handled really well with lots of visits prior so she could meet everyone. The app is great to track what your child has been doing for the day including what they have eaten and sleep times. They also give a very thorough handover at the end of each day. My daughter goes in happily and that makes me happy for the day.

My little girl loves attending Honeytree - some days it’s difficult to get her to leave. She has come on so much since starting which is down to the caring attitude of the staff. They know when to push her to try new things but also when she needs comfort. She gets the chance to experience different activities we can’t do at home whilst also getting to continue with her favourite things like singing. The staff have been really good at noticing her likes and ensuring she gets to do these regularly. The nursery is also keen on teaching independence which is great to see. Overall we are extremely happy with the care and education Honeytree provide.

My son has been at the nursery for over a year in the baby room. I couldn’t be happier with the staff, they are fantastic and they give each child the attention they needed to grow, my little one clearly loves being with them. The app they use is great, although they give great feedback on the day including activities done. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

I also love that the activities are varied and always something my son enjoys.

Then we got to the outside and even at my age, I wanted to go and play.

As well as all the other lovely comments people will have posted about the Honeytree on their care of the children, they have been so unbelievably flexible and considerate during the COVID-19 pandemic, we were so grateful. Thank you.

We have been delighted with the care our child receives at Honeytree. He loves it and talks about the staff with such fondness. The staff are very supportive and make a big effort to include the parents with regular parents evenings, updates and photos of your child’s day, summer fetes and a nativity at Christmas!

My son started at Honeytree when he was 9-months-old. The nursery was great at making me feel at ease on the induction days, my son has grown so much in confidence and with his development from his time at the nursery. Plus we are really grateful for how the nursery has been so helpful with updates through coronavirus and supporting our family with getting my son back to the nursery. Honeytree is a lovely nursery where my son thrives. I would thoroughly recommend.

My son has thrived since starting Honeytree. He started quite shy and timid, and now he will happily walk in alone and run and play. His communication has improved dramatically and he’s a lot more social even on walks he will stop and wave at other children. The nursery itself is lovely, you can tell the staff all love the children, they go above and beyond to make you and your child feel settled and happy.

During the sudden and drastic impact of the Covid19 pandemic, the nursery has gone above and beyond to maintain their highest standards of love, care and nurturing of my son whilst he continues to attend to enable me to work. My son loves his days at the nursery. The mixing of rooms has had absolutely nothing but positive impact on his wellbeing; he is loving his time here now as much as before. I am truly grateful and feel very privileged to have you sharing my sons growth. I cannot thank you enough for everything you do.

I had this nursery recommended to me, and it has been fantastic for my daughter who started when she was one. We were both a bit nervous, but the nursery staff were amazing, and my daughter soon became confident and happy at drop off. She enjoys her time here and is developing lots of new skills. She eats well, and had made friends both staff and children. They fill the day with lots of activities and are quick to keep you updated with your child's day. We would not hesitate to recommend to new families.

My 10 month old daughter has been attending this nursery since January 2019 and I have nothing but praise for the nursery. My daughter's development has progressed so quickly and she's always so happy to be there. The staff are so friendly and welcoming to both me and my daughter. I can't fault the nursery, my mind is always at ease knowing that my daughter is so well looked after.

My son had to move nurseries unexpectedly in January. We were recommended Honeytree by friends whose children attend. Fortunately, the staff at Honeytree helped my son settle very quickly and he really enjoys it. The activities are varied and structured. He loves the food, he does yoga, he’s learning to write. He’s doing very well. We always get a very detailed handover and he comes home with lovely artwork he’s done. He has lots of friends. We’re very happy with the hardworking staff that make it such a pleasure for them.

Lovely staff and facilities, especially the outdoor play areas. My son has been attending since April 2018 and loves it. They have also helped him to try more food as he is a very fussy eater and have helped him with potty training which we were struggling with.
