Blossom Tree Nursery School

My son really enjoys nursery and that is really important to me and my wife. The staff take great care of him and take the time to work out how best to support him when he has struggled throughout the day. It's a welcoming, positive, clean and friendly environment full of staff who appear to love what they do and the children in their care. Thank you.

Blossom Tree is a huge part of our daughter's world! She is so settled and happy there and has formed wonderful relationships with staff and children. This is undoubtedly due to the supportive, stimulating and fun ethos fostered by all the staff. Our daughter has a real sense of being part of the nursery community and is very proud of this. The team seem to strive for high standards in their curriculum and challenge the children appropriately - I've been particularly impressed by this as our daughter gets closer to school transition. In addition, the care of the children, engagement in their interests and wellbeing are impressive. Conversations with staff and regular progress reports indicate how well the team know the children as individuals. We have been impressed with how the nursery is managed and communication has improved vastly over the last year or so. We also love the use of the app! It's great to be invited to events such as Open Days and Mother's Day afternoon tea.

Our son started nursery at Blossom Tree Nursery at the beginning of 2025 and we are very happy with our experience. The staff in the baby room are all friendly and welcoming and our son is always excited when he sees them. We love the app that shows what he's been up to in the day and the communication is great. We would definitely recommend this nursery to families in Portishead.

I started my 5 month old at Blossom Tree nursery last month. It is a very anxious and stressful time when you start leaving your baby but everyone at Blossom tree has been amazing with this transition. Tom is very welcoming and has been incredibly helpful and always quick to respond. The ladies in the baby room are great with him and that's evident with all the smiley photos I get and how happy he is when I collect. I feel totally reassured leaving my baby at blossom tree. Thank you to all the team for making this process as easy as possible.

Our youngest has been there for almost 2 years now & our elder son also attended. The staff are lovely, great activities available and both boys have really grown there. Very reasonable price too compared to other nurseries nearby.

We couldn't wish for a better setting for our daughter. We looked at lots of nurseries in the local area but we settled on Blossom Tree as it was the best resourced and had the best vibe. We haven't regretted our decision since. Our daughter absolutely loves nursery and the staff. Everyone is warm and welcoming and really cares about the children. The activities and rooms are engaging and the staff really go the extra mile to support and communicate with the parents. Since she's been at Blossom Tree, it seems to be just getting better and better and we look forward to many more happy years there in the future.

Our son has been attending Blossom Tree nursery for over a year now, and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives! The photos that are shared with us always show him either smiling broadly or concentrating intensely on the game or lesson that he is taking part in. He has gone from being shy and nervous at drop offs to being eager and excited to play when he arrives. He is currently moving up to the newly revamped toddler room, and we have been very happy with the way that process is being handled.

One staff member in particular in the office, and another in the baby room, have been outstanding, and are always friendly and helpful.

My son dreams about the nursery and wants to help his grandad in Spain to make an allotment, so although he is only part-time, it’s clearly leaving a positive impression, which is the best we could have hoped for.

Couldn't be happier with Blossom Tree. Have been flexible and accommodating as well as delivering a fantastic service for my daughter. Prices are reasonable, the app is great, and the staff are very friendly. I'd recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been at Blossom Tree since autumn 2023, and our experience with the nursery has been great from the get-go. They were quick to respond and help us out with our childcare needs and very accommodating with settling in, which made both me and my daughter feel really at ease. The team are all lovely, and my daughter has built up a great bond with them. The setting is well adapted for each group, and all ages have easy access to outdoor space, which they use all the time. They offer a great range of food, often head out for walks and activities in the local area and always keep us up to date. I'd recommend this nursery to anyone.

The staff are kind, caring and attentive and communication through the app is good at keeping us informed of what he has been up to during the day.

I cannot rate Blossom Tree Nursery School highly enough. They care so much for my daughter and have a curriculum that really supports our own beliefs in reading and outdoor play. Updates are provided daily and any concerns are promptly brought to my attention. We often have to play “nursery” at home, role-playing as the staff, I believe that clearly shows my daughter is receiving the attention and affection she needs at her age!

Blossom Tree Nursery School is a wonderful nursery that my son has been attending for the last three and a half years. He loves the staff and environment. He has grown and developed so much whilst being here. I want to reiterate what a wonderful place this is. The staff are so caring and friendly. Highly recommended.

We absolutely love Blossom Tree Nursery School in Portishead! The staff are so lovely and our 3-year-old son has thrived with them over the past two years. We feel safe and secure with Blossom Tree and our son always loves going to nursery. They have really looked after him and us and we are so appreciative. From the nursery practitioners to the chef, they all know our son so well and it’s clear they really care about all the children.

Blossom Tree is a lovely nursery with lovely staff who all love the children. My son has been going for the last couple of months and he really enjoys it. The staff work with me and my parenting which is good. It’s always hard when parents have to go back to work, so trusting the childcare you send your children to, is paramount and I have just that. Highly recommend.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was nine months old and is nearly two, the staff are really lovely and easy to talk to, my daughter has always gone in happy and is comfortable with all the staff, would highly recommend it.

I would recommend Blossom Tree to anybody.
