Blossom Tree, located near Portishead’s vibrant marina, is a nursery school full of wonder and learning.

Inside the nursery, rooms are tailored to meet the needs of children aged from 4 months to 5 years. The large rooms use natural resources to create an inviting home-from-home environment. Outside, children benefit from a purpose-built wooden structure for toddlers as well as an allotment, all ensuring that they can connect with nature through a variety of outdoor experiences.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework as well as the Storal approach to curriculum, the team work hard to ensure every child is given the opportunity to learn, explore and develop at a pace that suits them.

Meals are freshly prepared by the onsite chef using locally sourced food. Older children also participate in meal preparation and enjoy assisting in the kitchen. Mealtimes are an opportunity for children to refuel, be sociable and learn about nutrition.

Our son has been attending Blossom Tree nursery for over a year now, and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives! The photos that are shared with us always show him either smiling broadly or concentrating intensely on the game or lesson that he is taking part in. He has gone from being shy
and nervous at drop offs to being eager and excited to play when he arrives. He is currently moving up to the newly revamped toddler room, and we have been very happy with the way that process is being handled.


One staff member in particular in the office, and another in the baby room, have been outstanding, and are always friendly and helpful.

When you choose a nursery without seeing it, it’s a huge leap of faith, but this is what had to happen with our 6-month-old during Covid. This year, our child turns four, is still there, and most importantly, is happy.
Our main bugbear has probably been in staff movement, but this happens in this industry
and is probably good for children, and with some of the key new staff bringing fresh ideas and activities, and the room leads being really lovely, we have been really happy, especially in seeing the introduction of an allotment club, stick insects and that the children get to go out and about more. The management is really helpful and understanding of any concerns we might have, and work with us where necessary.
My son dreams about the nursery and wants to help his grandad in Spain to make an allotment, so although he is only part-time, it’s clearly leaving a positive impression, which is the best we could have hoped for.

Couldn't be happier with Blossom Tree. Have been flexible and accommodating as well as delivering a fantastic service for my daughter. Prices are reasonable, the app is great, and the staff are very friendly. I'd recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been at Blossom Tree since autumn 2023, and our experience with the nursery has been great from the get-go. They were quick to respond and help us out with our childcare needs and very accommodating with settling in, which made both me and my daughter feel really at ease. The team are
all lovely, and my daughter has built up a great bond with them. The setting is well adapted for each group, and all ages have easy access to outdoor space, which they use all the time. They offer a great range of food, often head out for walks and activities in the local area and always keep us up to date. I'd recommend this nursery to anyone.

My child has been attending 2 days a week since he was 10 months old. He settled in quickly and really enjoyed his days at Blossom Tree. The staff arrange a wide range of activities which focus on developing key skills appropriate to his age. He particularly enjoys the opportunities for messy play and
plenty of time outdoors.
The staff are kind, caring and attentive and communication through the app is good at keeping us informed of what he has been up to during the day.

I cannot rate Blossom Tree Nursery School highly enough. They care so much for my daughter and have a curriculum that really supports our own beliefs in reading and outdoor play. Updates are provided daily and any concerns are promptly brought to my attention. We often have to play “nursery” at home,
role-playing as the staff, I believe that clearly shows my daughter is receiving the attention and affection she needs at her age!

We absolutely love Blossom Tree Nursery School in Portishead! The staff are so lovely and our 3-year-old son has thrived with them over the past two years. We feel safe and secure with Blossom Tree and our son always loves going to nursery. They have really looked after him and us and we are so appreciative.
From the nursery practitioners to the chef, they all know our son so well and it’s clear they really care about all the children.

My child has been going to Blossom Tree 3 days a week since September and absolutely loves it.
The staff are so friendly and attentive to his needs and have been fantastic in helping him with getting used to the transition from Busy Bees to preschool he will have in November without any drama.
Since
going to Blossom Tree, he has started to eat a lot more new foods and is trying new things when it comes to food, which we were struggling with at home and that's been amazing to watch, he even asks me for foods he never would have before in the past thanks to him eating them while at nursery.
I am so glad I chose Blossom Tree for him.

Since my son joined Blossom Tree Nursery, at first he was quite inside himself and kept himself to himself, sort of staying in his shell. However, for some months now he has leapt on so far away from what he was like and it's unbelievably fantastic. I love how he has shown his confidence and strengths
in all sorts of good educational ways. He can now 'nearly' write his name. I'm extremely proud of him and really pleased with how Blossom Tree has got him to this amazing point.

Blossom Tree is a lovely nursery with lovely staff who all love the children. My son has been going for the last couple of months and he really enjoys it. The staff work with me and my parenting which is good. It’s always hard when parents have to go back to work, so trusting the childcare you send
your children to, is paramount and I have just that. Highly recommend.

My child has been at Blossom Tree for about 2.5 years. The staff there have been excellent and my child really likes them.
They do a lot of creative activities and especially seasonal activities. They also have a weekly session with a kid's sports provider. There is a good variety of food on offer
throughout the day and my child is always telling me they prefer the food at nursery to home.
The nursery is good at communicating what is going on and always helpful with my queries.
All the children seem happy and entertained when I pick up or drop off.
I would recommend Blossom Tree to anybody.

My little girl loves going to Blossom Tree and has such a close bond with all of the nursery staff - especially her key worker. They are all so caring and offer lots of love and comfort when needed. They organise loads of fun and educational activities. They got my little girl doing baby signing which
really helped her express herself and now her language is coming along so well too. Really glad we chose this place, it is such a lovely nursery and I could not recommend it enough.

All the staff are so friendly and amazing with our very shy boy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to friends and family. We had been offered a space back at our old nursery (shut down due to staffing issues), but our son is too happy here to contemplate moving back, even though it would

My daughter has been at Honeytree Day Nursery & Pre-school - Portishead for 18-months now and recently progressed to the toddlers. The facilities at the nursery, especially the garden are amazing. All the staff are incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their faces when greeting children in
the morning. The transition from baby room to toddlers was handled really well with lots of visits prior so she could meet everyone. The app is great to track what your child has been doing for the day including what they have eaten and sleep times. They also give a very thorough handover at the end of each day. My daughter goes in happily and that makes me happy for the day.

My little girl loves attending Honeytree - some days it’s difficult to get her to leave. She has come on so much since starting which is down to the caring attitude of the staff. They know when to push her to try new things but also when she needs comfort. She gets the chance to experience different
activities we can’t do at home whilst also getting to continue with her favourite things like singing. The staff have been really good at noticing her likes and ensuring she gets to do these regularly. The nursery is also keen on teaching independence which is great to see. Overall we are extremely happy with the care and education Honeytree provide.

My son has been at the nursery for over a year in the baby room. I couldn’t be happier with the staff, they are fantastic and they give each child the attention they needed to grow, my little one clearly loves being with them.
