Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Fishponds)

My nephew attends Mama Bears Day Nursery Fishponds and really enjoys his time there. I enjoy going to see him after his nursery session and listening to everything he has done. My nephew gets along with all staff and has lots of friends. He always comes home telling me about all the different messy play he has played with and really enjoys the outdoor environment. I would recommend this nursery with a 5-star rating.

My niece has attended this nursery since she was 9 months old. She loves coming to nursery and always comes home talking about her day. The staff are always extremely friendly and welcoming when I come to pick up my niece.

This nursery is loved by lots of happy children and parents. My son loved going in every morning and starting the day with a warm welcome from the staff and then getting stuck into the messy play areas. He loved the outside area and it was so hard trying to get him to go home. Staff at this nursery work hard to make parents happy to leave their children, even when the child is upset, there's always someone on hand to comfort your child so you know when you're home they're in the best hands. I wouldn't take my child anywhere else.

I love this nursery. All of my children have come here and I love the way the children love all the staff and how the staff always make time for you if you're worried about anything. Also, I like how when you have a problem, they always try to help to the best of there ability.

My grandson really enjoyed going to the nursery. He loved all the activities that he could do and the way the staff interacted with him, with friendliness and helpfulness in the group and one to one activities. Also staff always willing to help and listen to parents. Very friendly.

Very happy with Mama Bears Day Nursery Fishponds, with the support they have given my eldest son Christopher. They have really made him feel welcome and he's came along way since starting Mama Bear's and that's thanks to the staff there. Overall a great team and place

She starts school in September and I know she will be sad to leave somewhere which has made her feel so comfortable.

My son attended the nursery from baby room right up until he left to go to big school. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, parents are always well informed of daily activities and my child always come home happy and full of stories of his daily routine.

Wonderful preschool. Can't fault the place ... my son was nervous about starting a new preschool but each and every one has made my son feel very welcome. It's wonderful to see such warming and caring people running a preschool ... also nothing is too much for them. As a mother it makes me feel easier knowing he's well looked after by the staff, especially his key worker, she's a wonderful, kind natured woman and my son has really taken to her, they are all amazing and it's a wonderful place. Highly recommended. Will also be getting my other children a place.

My children are very happy and content at this nursery and seem to learn a lot, the outside space is both fun and stimulating with play equipment and trees

Both my son's go and have settled in very well since moving from London. They love going and gave really come out of their shells! The staff are clearly very fond on both my children and therefore care in their development. I enjoy seeing the boys flourish as the weeks go on. Such a lovely environment for them. Well done all.

The staff at Mama Bear's have always been very helpful and attentive to me and my children's needs. I was very happy when I found Thicket Avenues Mama Bear's and have never been disappointed. I'm always greeted by friendly staff who always seem upbeat and engaged with the children.

My son really enjoys the messy play, I don't mind that his clothes get messy at times as it shows he has been having fun

My son has attended this nursery for about 18 months. He is doing very well and enjoys coming here. During this time I have found the staff to be extremely helpful and attentive to the needs of my son and also for us as a family. Over this period I have also seen a real change for the better in the environment provided for the children their attention to detail is excellent and certainly feel my son is in safe hands well looked after respected and recognised for the individual that he is. There is a new sensory room which is remarkable and the outside play areas provide a variety of creative safe spaces for imaginative play to take place. They have also provided great consistency of care as my son has pretty much had the same key worker for the majority of time that he has attended. She is really good and knows him very well so BIG THANK YOU from us as a family. We think you are great.
