I have known the nursery since 2016 when my son joined and my 3-years-old currently attends Quayside and loves it. They help you so much with potty training and finding your child’s strength and weaknesses and makes them thrive. They were also so supportive when my son was expecting a baby sister and
got activity’s out involving bathing baby’s and reading books about babies, it was such a great help and good experience for my son. The nursery is amazing, and have never had an issue with anyone or anything regarding Quayside. What I love most, is they treat your children like there own and give them all the affection they need when upset or tired etc. Good job Quayside nursery, it’s been a pleasure!

Thanks to the lovely ladies working hard at Bright Horizons, my child is learning lots of good things and is a visible and happy child that loves to play and super chatty. Bright Horizons Nursery is a lovely and friendly place being welcomed from the moment you walk through the front doors. My daughter settled in very quickly thanks to all the staff supporting her and making her feel so welcome. As a parent, there are always times when I need to ask for extra support
or have a quick chat and the ladies at reception are amazing. It doesn’t matter if they’re busy or not they will always make time for you to discuss any needs or issues you might have. Overall, I definitely recommend Bright Horizons Nursery to any parent thinking about taking their child to a nursery.

It’s the best Nursery we could have hoped for! All the staff are lovely and supportive even when busy they make time! Lots of great advice and just a fun and loving environment from front doors to the garden. I love that the outdoors is a big part of their play and learn and food is prepared from scratch!
Always makes me feel hungry with delicious smells of cooking.
I needed a lot of support this year and all the staff have been amazing in their support and encouragement. It’s a real community! Thank you so much to everyone at Quayside.

My daughter started nursery from September and she absolutely loves it. I was worried a lot as she used to go different nursery before and used to cry all the time, as never wanted to stay there. Huge thank you to all staff, they are doing a great job. Always feel welcome in the nursery. My daughter
settled very quickly due to professional and lovely staff. She always wants to go to nursery now which I am happy about. It is nice to know there is a tidy and clean environment around your child. I do not have to worry anymore about my little one when I leave her there, as I trust nursery staff 100%.

The teachers are really nice and very friendly with the child. I like the way they teach concepts to the child while allowing them to indulge in play. Our son absolutely loved this nursery, he was so happy going and we knew he was safe, all the staff knew him by name and they seemed just as excited as us by the new things he did which made us feel good, always felt they told us the truth about his day and how he was. gutted we moved away just for the nursery haven’t been able to find any as good as Bright Horizons.

I have two children who attend the nursery and we all couldn't be happier. Every member of staff who works here are extremely competent, engaging and caring when it comes to the children. They provide a safe, fun and happy environment and I always know they're going to be well looked after (and fed!)
whilst they're there. I'm glad I came across the Quayside Day Nursery!

I cannot fault Bright Horizons Quayside Day Nursery and Preschool, my daughter loves it there and they all love her. Bright Horizons Quayside Day Nursery and Preschool is fantastic. My daughter has settled in very well and has enabled us to not worry about leaving her, which we were being our first child. Each week we get a newsletter and every day a feedback form on how the day has been. The room staff are helpful
and friendly and we couldn't have asked for more.

My daughter has really grown whilst being at this nursery, every day she comes home more confident than the last. She really enjoys all of the extra activities, (little kickers, forest school etc.) And loves talking about her friends.
The classroom staff have always been brilliant and easy to talk
to.
The office staff make things really easy particularly when having such a complicated voucher payment setup.

My daughter attends this nursery every Monday. Every effort is made to ensure she is happy and settled. The nursery provides an excellent play-based learning environment. The staff are caring, efficient and communicative. I am very happy to entrust my daughter's care to Quayside.

This Nursery is Fantastic, I would definitely recommend them to other parents.
I can go to work every day completely satisfied that my child is in the best care! She loves the variety of activities and making friends. At the end of everyday the staff fill me in on what she's been up to which I really
appreciate, she's so happy to be at Quayside which makes me happy.

I take my 19-month-old son to this nursery and he loves it. I believe it is one of the best nurseries in Ipswich.
The staff pay attention to every child and get to know all children whether they are their key worker or not. They keep me informed with all the activities, food, sleep and what my son
has done and are brilliant at looking after them when they are a bit emotional or feeling under the weather. I love receiving emails and being kept up to date with their progress Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff.

Our daughter loves Quayside Nursery. Since being at the nursery her confidence has developed a lot and she loves being around the other children and the staff. All of the staff know her name and are genuinely interested in her development. She has always had excellent key workers. I feel that the nursery

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons Quayside Day Nursery and Preschool since she was 10 months old and is now nearly 3. Every member of staff has always made her feel so special, every time we move up a room, I’m worried because of how amazing her current key worker was and every time the new key

I joined Bright Horizons in February 2018. I have experience with children from the age of 3 months to 7 years in a variety of settings. I completed my Level 3 in Childcare and Education in 2007, before going on to achieve my BA (Hons) in Early Years Education. I am passionate about ensuring that children get the best possible start in life and supporting them to reach their full potential now and in the future. My team and I achieve this by creating and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment that both supports and challenges children. Diversity and equality are important to me and I encourage our children and their families to share their experiences, cultures and ideas.

Hi, I'm Amy the Deputy Manager.


I started my Bright Horizons journey as bank staff at another setting back in 2008. After quickly becoming a full-time team member, before transferring here as Third in Charge in 2012. Across both settings I was able to grow and commit to many different roles and I was given the given the opportunity to help lead the nursery with a couple of years ago and I am loving every second.


I have a real passion for Keeping Everyone safe with our superhero Candy Floss, and helping to support the foundation for children with our very own bright space but watching these children grow, being at the very start of their lifelong journey through education and having the privilege to be trusted to care to what you find most precious is what makes this job unlike any other and the most rewarding thing.
