Bright Horizons Great Cornard Day Nursery and Preschool

My son's development has definitely shown a spiked improvement since he has been attending the nursery.

Being a working Mum, I’m so glad I’ve found a nursery that my 1-year-old loves! It makes dropping him off that bit easier! Knowing my child is very attached to his key worker (to the point he’ll cry if she leaves the room) it makes it clear he is very well cared for and loved at the nursery.

My daughter has been at Crocus Great Cornard since she was one and she has loved going since her very first day. The nursery team have supported her through all sorts of difficult times including being in a spica cast on and off for almost a year and more recently with a minor hearing impediment, which is impacting her speech and her confidence. We could not be more grateful to her brilliant key worker for the special activities she has planned for the class to encourage and support our daughter. She has progressed in leaps and bounds and still runs into the classroom full of smiles every morning. Crocus Great Cornard might not look very impressive from the outside, but the care and effort that goes into the children's education are amazing, and it's what happens inside that really matters. The staff are full of energy and every day is packed with different activities. The meals are nutritious and interesting. We highly recommend this nursery/pre-school.

From the day I viewed this nursery I knew it was the one for my daughter. In all aspects, it stood out massively. My daughter is very happy here and I feel content when I leave her too. Nothing is too much for the staff. My daughter is very happy informing me about her day at the nursery. It is lovely to hear. Thank you Bright Horizons!

Lovely nursery. We travel a little further than we first wanted as we felt so happy with the setting and its staff. My son always has a great time and is extremely well looked after. The nursery is also very accommodating.

I looked at several nurseries in the local area and I was very impressed with Great Cornard Day Nursery. My son has settled in really well and I feel happier going to work knowing that he is happy at nursery and doing a variety of activities e.g. Painting and going in the sensory room.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for a year and a half and her confidence has come on in leaps and bounds. The staff are caring, well organised and always happy to talk about her day. She eats more at nursery than she will at home and I have trust in that she is safe, well looked after and Learning through play whilst she is there, I thoroughly recommend it.

My daughter has settled into her room and nursery so well. She is always welcomed with a smile and the staff all seem very happy to welcome her, she has already learnt lots from being at nursery, she knows lots of new songs and colours and has started counting everything around her. Even the staff not in her room know her by name and make an effort to speak with her. The management make me as a parent feel very welcomed and able to talk freely about anything with them.

Crocus is a warm and welcoming place where our children have been safe and thrived.

My daughter has been going to Bright Horizons Great Cornard for over a year and she loves it. They have also helped and supported me whenever I have needed. I highly recommend this nursery.

Best nursery around!

I absolutely love this nursery and my son does too! The staff are all so friendly and supportive, they help us make progress with my son’s skills and he always has the best time at ‘school’. They have been accommodating when I’ve needed last minute days but the best thing is that they genuinely care for my child.

The management is fantastic and keeps us up to date with everything. Hedgehog room staff have helped so much with my daughter's development it is incredible. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and friendly. Lambs room staff are so accommodating and understanding of my child's needs. Couldn't recommend them enough.

My son’s key worker is friendly, approachable and knowledgable. She is incredibly caring and will do anything to help with his development. I am always kept up to date with everything through conversations and his Learning Journal and I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough for what they have done for my son.

My little girl has been going to Bright Horizons since October and she absolutely loves it. The baby room are fantastic and made us both feel so welcome. She adores her key person and is learning so much. I can’t recommend this place enough.

My son has been coming to this nursery since he was 9 months old, and I have been extremely impressed with all aspects of the nursery. The settling in sessions he had to start with were really good at gently easing him into being there and he made the transition into nursery very well. The staff are all fantastic and really genuinely care about all the children and always take the time to speak to me about my child and his development and how they can support with this. The food is brilliant and varied and provides a good balanced diet. They do a range of activities with the children that are well suited to their age. My son arrives at nursery with a huge smile on his face every morning and this is testament to the hard work of all the staff and how well they know all the children and personalise the experience for each child. Communication is very good and I am always kept up to date with how my son is getting on and they are very accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommend!

My little girl is in the squirrels room at nursery. She attends full time and absolutely loves it. She comes home chatting about all the ladies and her friends at nursery and always looks forward to going in every day. Since day one of her starting, the whole team have always been so welcoming and they're always happy to help in any way they can. All staff in the nursery are always smiling and very easy to talk to, such a lovely nursery. I never have any worries about leaving my daughter.

She has settled well in the nursery and built up a good relationship with the girls in her room.

Amazing nursery, my boys love attending the holiday club. The nursery provides amazing activities that my children love. Staff are so lovely and keep me informed of what they have been up to. Plenty of parking and love the sensory room.
