Bright Horizons Great Cornard Day Nursery and Preschool

Excellent nursery. I feel confident when I drop my little boy off, that he will be well cared for. I love the app, I helps me relax at work knowing he's eaten and seeing photos of him having the best time! He was unwell recently and had over a month off and upon returning the staff were so kind and caring and he settled back in so well, which truly shows how safe and content he feels there. He absolutely loves it, especially his keyworkers, I also love how they follow a curriculum, even in the babies room to help them learn and develop the best they can, all while having the best time!

We are so happy we got a place at Bright Horizons, Cornard. During maternity leave the nursery made contact to check my child in for all of his settling in sessions before he started and I felt communication from the start has been amazing. They make me feel like he is safe and well looked after and he now 4-5 weeks in is so happy to go in. I can see his confidence has grown in that short time and he is learning so much. Very grateful we found Bright Horizons.

Myself and my husband would like to thank all the amazing and inspiring ladies in this room, they really truly care and support your child and parents in this room the engage with all the children. You can see that they love what they do. I can highly recommend this nursery and this room to everyone. My son will miss this room.

I could not have asked for a more positive experience introducing my baby to nursery! The 5 settling sessions were brilliant in building a relationship between myself/baby and the adults in Panda room. My baby's key worker has been incredibly supportive and understanding throughout the whole process and beyond into her first few months with the nursery. Communication is brilliant and I love the use of the app so I can be informed of what she's been doing and see photos of the fun she's had. I feel confident knowing she is cared for, even when poorly. It has made my transition back to work so much easier; a major anxiety for a first time mum was lifted knowing my little one loved nursery!

My children are very happy at nursery. They are both so eager to enter their rooms in the morning that it is clear that they are well taken care of. The staff often organise activities to cater for their specific learning needs and development. Information about their day/ learning is communicated effectively through the app. Detailed handovers from staff often reveal a sense of their attention and care. Overall, I am very happy with the care my children are receiving.

I honestly am so happy we chose to send our son here, staff are caring, cheerful, professional and knowledgeable ( most have worked there a long time) and I know my son has the best time here!

My baby joined Bright Horizons Great Cornard Day Nursery and Preschool last month and I am so pleased with how well he has settled in such a short space of time. The staff are kind and nurturing and I can tell that they genuinely care for the children they look after, which is a massive relief as it's not just a huge transition for my son starting nursery, but for myself as well. I know that I can leave him in their care knowing he is thoroughly looked after. Our son started Bright Horizons Great Cornard Day Nursery and Preschool at 7 months old and has always been happy at the nursery. His key person and him have a great bond and he's always smiley going into and leaving nursery. The meals are very healthy and they have lots of activities to keep them entertained throughout the day.

My son recently started at Bright Horizons Great Cornard Day Nursery and Preschool in the baby room and I am so pleased I chose this nursery. The staff are absolutely wonderful. The team in the baby room and my son's key person are so sweet and caring. They really went the extra mile to make sure his transition into childcare was as smooth and comfortable as possible, with regular updates along the way. The app is great, I always enjoy seeing my son smiling and playing in the pictures. You can tell the children really enjoy it there - my son always has a smile on his face when I pick him up. Would highly recommend this nursery!

Had two children attend Bright Horizon, the eldest has now left and was only in the oldest class. Amazing experience for her, the staff were brilliant with her and made her transition feel really comfortable. Our 2nd child is currently still at Bright Horizon and has gone through various different classes. Again, all transitions throughout the different classes have been so smooth. The staff have always kept us updated with some really detailed reports and conversations during pick-ups. All staff at Bright Horizon are amazing; it's not just speaking to our child's key worker when doing pick-ups, all staff members have a chat, which makes it feel more like a family-run nursery. We originally chose Bright Horizon due to the convenience of location, but if I'd known what I know now about it, it wouldn't matter if I was driving miles to go here, as it's a brilliant nursery all-round!

The nursery has been amazing and we really cannot fault it. They made the transition for our little one with such ease and he loves it! You can tell by the updates and the pictures on the app how happy he is, making new friends and learning all different skills. The staff are always so lovely and friendly and have been open to answering my questions/giving advice. Which as a first-time mum is always gratefully received. So glad we found such a great nursery.

My son has been going to Bright Horizons since November 2023 and settled in quickly thanks to the friendly staff making him feel at ease. The staff have maintained his routine well and keep in touch via the app, this has been very reassuring for me, it is also a great tool for keeping track of his personal progress. The activities vary daily with a great mix of books/sensory toys as well as a secure outdoor space to explore in. I have and will continue to recommend this nursery to my friends and colleagues. Thank you for making my transition back to work as easy as possible.

The nursery is brilliant and cannot fault it. My daughter loves going there. She has such a good relationship with her key worker and is always happy to see her. Finally, my daughter always eats their food, so it must be tasty.

My son started nursery when he was only 3 months old. As a first-time mum putting my son into nursery so young was a worry but the nursery has been so supportive. The team really put my mind at ease and has been so helpful. My son has been there for 6 months now and he has developed so much. He is such a happy sociable boy.
