Sunshine Nursery School is situated in Sudbury, Suffolk, provides high-quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

The nursery was established in September 2003, with a view to offering the best facilities and environment possible to give busy parents peace of mind when choosing their childcare.

The extensive undercover outdoor play area and garden lends itself to all-weather outdoor activities and enhances the range of opportunities available to children.

Fresh food is very important and healthy eating will get children off to a good start. They have its own qualified in-house chef who freshly prepares healthy, well-balanced meals. All snacks, drinks and meals are provided for children throughout the nursery day.

The team are fully qualified and in total have over 85 years of child-caring experience between them. The team prides itself on attitude, patience and creativity to ensure all children receive the best care possible.

The nursery is structured across five different rooms, based around age groups. The age bands are not ‘set in stone’ so children move between the rooms when the time is right for them. The rooms are bright, happy places to inspire the children as they learn and develop.

There are not really the words to explain how exemplary this nursery is, on every level. My daughter absolutely loves her time here she gets excited to go in and runs in full of confidence, the staff are simply amazing and she has a brilliant relationship with them all and all the other children. They
are always doing different activities and the setting is very well equipped and managed. Communication from the nursery is excellent, and nothing is ever too much for them. The food she gets at nursery makes me jealous, she has such variety and healthy options making her love all food types. All in all the best thing I did for my daughter was send her to this nursery ahead of her school journey it’s set a fantastic foundation for her schooling life. Thank you for everything Anglia Sunshine!

Both my children go to Anglia Sunshine and my eldest is about to head to mainstream school. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for him in getting him prepared. He has SEN needs and the team have stopped at nothing in ensuring his needs are met and he is school ready. Exceptional

My little boy has been at Anglia Sunshine since he was 10 months old. We are now preparing for school and I am so sad to be leaving. Right from the start the support and care for my child has been exceptional. Staff are friendly and show so much care and attention. Anglia Sunshine are always so accommodating
for my job and the fact it doesn’t follow standard times or shifts. Nothing is ever a problem and the support I have received has been wonderful. Each room and staff member giving it their all. Being at Anglia Sunshine has helped my boy blossom and grow as a person and he has come on leaps and bounds since attending. We will miss you all so much.

My little boy was a clingy child having been born 2 months before the national lockdown and not knowing anyone. I contacted Anglia Sunshine to see if they had space, they did and within a few days, we were having settling sessions. They accommodated his needs by building his settle sessions up from
15 mins to an afternoon over the course of a couple of weeks to get him used to it, this seems to have done the trick as he now loves going. My little boy is dairy-free through intolerances and they’re brilliant with this too, in fact, some of the meals he gets at nursery make us very jealous! The best move we did was putting him in Anglia Sunshine as he’s developed a lot more independence and we know he likes it.

I love Anglia Sunshine because they feel like an extended family. My children have both been to Sunshine, the youngest from 1 year old to starting school. All of the ladies have been so caring and supportive and have given good advice when I've asked about all the stages of baby and toddlerhood. Nothing
is too much for them, they really care and I trust them completely. The food is so good, I am often envious of what they've had! I will miss them all greatly when my little one leaves this week. Thank you Anglia Sunshine for giving my boys a great start outside of family life.

My son has been attending since January 2020. He has come on so far since starting. His confidence has grown so much since attending here. The staff are so friendly, caring and are truly amazing and really do go above and beyond for the children.

My fourteen month old has been attending the nursery for the last month and she has settled in so well and will very happily go to her key worker with a smile. Being a first-time mum I was worried about leaving my little girl at nursery but as soon as I walked around Anglia Sunshine I knew that it was perfect for her. I never worry about leaving my little girl there and know that she is so well looked after. She loves going to the nursery which is a huge relief
for me. The ladies are so friendly and you can tell that they really care about the children they look after. She has a fantastic bond with her key person and loves being in her company. The EYlog is brilliant and allows parents to gain an insight into their child’s day which I absolutely love. Thank you for everything you do!

We are so thrilled with the nursery and all that they offer to our children. The staff are fantastic - very caring and give a great little summary of all the children have done at the end of their session.
Very useful to see the updates on eyLog too so you feel like you haven’t missed out on anything.
The
staff provided a fully adapted settling in programme that was very much appreciated and eased anxieties on both sides.

Anglia Sunshine Nurseries is an extension of the family. The carers are so dedicated to the children’s needs and the children love them like they are family. My child opens up to them and talks about them all the time at home. Always happy and excited for another day and he’s been there since he was
8 months old. You would think he would tire. I get continually updated during the week via Eylog and can see what he has been up to. His social skills and understanding of the world have definitely been a joint effort between myself and Anglia Sunshine Nurseries. We will be very sad when he goes on to ‘big’ school. (We will most likely utilise the after school facilities).

I have 2 and a half-year-old twins and decided to move nurseries to Anglia Sunshine at the end of lockdown after having some concerns with our existing one. This nursery was highly recommended by a work colleague. It’s the best decision we made! I was initially impressed with the manager who was friendly,
approachable, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. On meeting the room staff I felt sure this was the place for our girls.
They have settled quickly and light up at drop off on seeing the staff which speaks volumes. The staff are nothing short of amazing and communication is excellent, the nursery has a live system and staff add update photos and captions of what our girls are up to throughout the day and how this links into the childcare standards they work to. (Very welcome and pleasant to see throughout your working day). We are able to send the girls and be confident whilst at work that they are safe, happy and have all their needs met. Thank you to all the staff!

The first and only nursery my little boy has been to, and it’s been the best! My son loves going and is so excited when we arrive! He runs into the nursery and doesn’t come and say goodbye because he loves it so much! The staff are so lovely and very welcoming! Always welcomed with a smile and so happy!

My little girl loves going to nursery, every time she goes she comes out at the end of the day happy and smiling. The girls that work there are lovely and made me feel at ease when she first joined and continue to do so. Could not recommend this nursery more.
