Sunshine Nursery School

My son moved to Anglia Sunshine a year ago, and I cannot fault the support he's experienced during this time. The team have been fantastic, so attentive and hard-working - I can't thank them enough for all they have done to support my son's development. It's a fabulous nursery!

We moved to the area just over a year ago and put our son into Anglia Sunshine because we really liked the staff. They have all been brilliant, our son has been so happy there. The communication is excellent and the staff really engage with the children and parents. We will miss the staff as our son starts school this year. Anglia Sunshine has felt like part of the family. Thank you Anglia Sunshine for looking after our son so well.

My son has had an amazing time at Anglia Sunshine. Such a wonderful nursery, I couldn’t recommend it enough. He always comes home exhausted after a fun-packed day. His key worker and other staff are brilliant and very caring. They work so hard and all deserve medals. The amount of fundraising and good deeds they do is incredible and they should be very proud. We will all be very sad to say goodbye when he starts school in September and will miss it terribly. Keep up the good work!

When my daughter first started here she was very shy, very reserved, didn’t know how to mix with other children, didn’t eat a massive variety of foods, the list could go on. Within only a couple of weeks it was obvious that being within the nursery with all the hard work her key person put in to helping her come out of her shell she was a completely different child. I can’t recommend Anglia Sunshine Nurseries for all the hard work they put into each and every child that attends here. My daughter is sadly leaving now to go up to big girl school but she has had a fantastic time here within the year and half she’s been. Thank you Anglia Sunshine Nurseries.

We have had our twin daughters here since August 2020 and so far they have moved through two rooms which were excellent. They are now in their third room, The Poppy, preschool room which is also superb. I can not emphasise how truly amazing this nursery is in every way from the staff to the room leaders to the Manager. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they go above and beyond to ensure that not only our daughters' needs are met in every area but exceeded and they are very supportive of parents. Recently we decided to host a Ukrainian mother and her 4-year-old daughter and the nursery have bent over backwards to accommodate a place for her and support her in her new country, with the language and all areas of development. Thank you, you are all amazing and there should be a rating that exceeds Outstanding. If you want your children to be safe, happy, and engaged there cannot be a better place.

My daughter started this time last year and had very little independence and wouldn't leave my side, within a couple of weeks she was running through the door to get in as she was so excited to be there. She's developed so much in such little time. A little while into her nursery journey she was diagnosed with additional needs and ever since the help we have received has been outstanding. The staff are amazing and very approachable. I wouldn't want my daughter to be anywhere else and will be sending younger siblings to Anglia Sunshine also!

My child attends the baby room, and I have 6 children, and this child being my last, I have never left any of them, but the baby unit manager and the girls have supported us both. My child hasn’t found it easy to leave me and I found it hard to start with, but the baby unit manager is like a second mum and they have been absolutely amazing for us and we share tips together, it’s home from home for us, and I would not hesitate in recommending these guys.

I have two children at Anglia Sunshine Nurseries. Both have thrived there, showing significant leaps in development as a result of the care, attention, and fun learning activities that are a core part of the nursery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anglia Sunshine Nurseries to others.

My little boy is starting his new room this week and the nursery is so supportive! I’m always informed and even got shown around the next room even though he has been at the nursery for 2 years, which makes it more personal and informative for me as a mum. The whole team is the best!

My daughter is in the baby room and my son is in the oldest room, we have had a wonderful experience throughout the nursery. All staff are friendly, patient and loving, my children have really enjoyed their time there and have learnt a lot. I always feel they are safe and cared for. Thanks ladies.

My son only goes one day a week, but he enjoys every minute of that day! He eats every meal they give him! And joins in with all the activities they offer him! He loves going outside into the garden area which is covered so it's available for all weathers! And I absolutely love receiving the messages online every day he's there that keep me up to date with his learning and activities. All of the staff are friendly and very helpful. And always have been. My 15-year-old boy spent 4 years there from 2007, I was so impressed with the nursery that I enrolled my younger children with them with no hesitation. This nursery has been constantly brilliant for as long as I've had the pleasure of knowing it!

The most amazing nursery! Having had my little boy during the first Covid lockdown we did have attachment issues as he just wasn't used to seeing other people. Our key workers have just been incredible! So kind, caring and patient for both of us. Almost a year at nursery now and my little boy shows none of these attachment issues anymore, he talks daily of his key worker and cannot wait to go and play with the other staff and children. Feeling like your child is being loved, looked after and cared for as you would yourself is the most reassuring and best feeling for a working mum! Thank you all so much!

There are not really the words to explain how exemplary this nursery is, on every level. My daughter absolutely loves her time here she gets excited to go in and runs in full of confidence, the staff are simply amazing and she has a brilliant relationship with them all and all the other children. They are always doing different activities and the setting is very well equipped and managed. Communication from the nursery is excellent, and nothing is ever too much for them. The food she gets at nursery makes me jealous, she has such variety and healthy options making her love all food types. All in all the best thing I did for my daughter was send her to this nursery ahead of her school journey it’s set a fantastic foundation for her schooling life. Both my children go to Anglia Sunshine and my eldest is about to head to mainstream school. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for him in getting him prepared. He has SEN needs and the team have stopped at nothing in ensuring his needs are met and he is school ready. Exceptional SENCO and incredible team all round.

My little boy has been at Anglia Sunshine since he was 10 months old. We are now preparing for school and I am so sad to be leaving. Right from the start the support and care for my child has been exceptional. Staff are friendly and show so much care and attention. Anglia Sunshine are always so accommodating for my job and the fact it doesn’t follow standard times or shifts. Nothing is ever a problem and the support I have received has been wonderful. Each room and staff member giving it their all. Being at Anglia Sunshine has helped my boy blossom and grow as a person and he has come on leaps and bounds since attending. We will miss you all so much.

My little boy was a clingy child having been born 2 months before the national lockdown and not knowing anyone. I contacted Anglia Sunshine to see if they had space, they did and within a few days, we were having settling sessions. They accommodated his needs by building his settle sessions up from 15 mins to an afternoon over the course of a couple of weeks to get him used to it, this seems to have done the trick as he now loves going. My little boy is dairy-free through intolerances and they’re brilliant with this too, in fact, some of the meals he gets at nursery make us very jealous! The best move we did was putting him in Anglia Sunshine as he’s developed a lot more independence and we know he likes it.

I love Anglia Sunshine because they feel like an extended family. My children have both been to Sunshine, the youngest from 1 year old to starting school. All of the ladies have been so caring and supportive and have given good advice when I've asked about all the stages of baby and toddlerhood. Nothing is too much for them, they really care and I trust them completely. The food is so good, I am often envious of what they've had! I will miss them all greatly when my little one leaves this week. Thank you Anglia Sunshine for giving my boys a great start outside of family life.

We are sad for him to be leaving, but will definitely use this nursery again in the future.

My son has been attending Anglia Sunshine for a couple of months now and he absolutely adores arriving in the morning, normally itching to get through the door. He loves all the staff and comes out with a smile on his face every day. All the staff are very professional, friendly and have the best interests of your child at the forefront of everything they do. The nursery staff always respond quickly to any questions I have/had and I feel so grateful that we found you! Thank you so much.

My fourteen month old has been attending the nursery for the last month and she has settled in so well and will very happily go to her key worker with a smile. I haven't had any tears and that's all down to the staff making her feel so comfortable. To her it's fun, fun, fun and she she loves it! Couldn't recommend them enough!
