Sunshine Nursery School

We've been at Sunshine Nursery School since September and we couldn't recommend it enough! As first time parents, we were naturally nervous about leaving our son, but we shouldn't have worried. Sunshine Nursery are incredible. He has created a bond with all members of staff - he is happy, enjoys nursery and will walk in independently, waving goodbye. Sunshine has been incredibly accommodating to our needs and for that, we are so grateful. We love the nursery - they truly feel like a family and we are very lucky our son gets to grow, explore and develop under their expert care.

Thank you to everyone at Sunshine Nursery School for all that you do! We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a great place for the children.

My eldest child started attending Sunshine Nursery School 2 years ago at 6 months old. My youngest started in November just gone at 5 months old. I wouldn't want my children to go anywhere else. They are so well cared for at Sunshine and they love it there. My eldest has thrived (and fully expect the same for my youngest). We've been to view the newly refurbished baby room today and it looks amazing. There is nothing negative I can say about the nursery, it's definitely been the best choice for my children.

Since my daughter started in the Daisy Room 4 months ago I have felt confident leaving her every morning in the knowledge that she is well looked after by all the staff, has lovely nutritious meals and is making friendships with other children. I love the app for keeping me up to date with what she has done throughout the day.

We love that our daughter settled so well into the baby room from 10 months old. She is our first child and I was very anxious to leave her and to go back to work. The daisy room staff have been amazing throughout the last year, our daughter is always happy to go in and has shown us that she loves the staff as she is always happy and smiling when she sees them. The staff have always been supportive and accommodating with any requests we have. It makes me feel reassured when I go to work that she is happy and well looked after. Our daughter is developing well and surprises us with new words and sings us songs we didn't realise she knew! We are very grateful for the care they provide. Thank you to all the staff and we look forward to our daughter going up to the next room very soon, I know she will enjoy it.

Especially our oldest who is off to school in September has enjoyed and benefited from the safe but more structured day in the year prior to transitioning to school. He has learned so much through playing and has built wonderful friendships. The thoughtful 'graduation day' was a wonderful way to close a very significant chapter in his life. Very much recommend this nursery and the kind, caring staff.

I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone. We recently moved from London and were extremely worried about resettling our 3 and 1-year-old with so many changes in such a short space of time. Since day 1 when I spoke to a member of staff on the phone the staff at the nursery have taken their time to speak to me about the well-being of my girls whilst in their care. The staff are fantastic, friendly and encouraging.

Anglia Sunshine is simply amazing, the staff care deeply, they go above and beyond for the children and the parents, and they have helped my son every step of the way through his journey through the nursery from Snowdrop to Poppy. They have great communication with the parents, they help to build children's confidence and independence along with helping them to develop their own amazing personalities. I am beyond grateful for everything Anglia Sunshine has done to help my son and everything they are now helping my youngest son too since he's started in the Snowdrop room! It's been amazing to see how much my boys have and continue to flourish. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single member of staff.

This nursery and all staff have been incredible in my child’s development since joining in 2021. He is always excited about going, and it has truly been a blessing him joining the nursery, and seeing how much he has grown thanks to the incredible team. Really going to miss them when he leaves for school in September.

My son is very happy and excited every morning to go to nursery. Staff are very kind and professional, management are all very good! We are very happy and grateful with everyone who supported our son. Highly recommend.

I cannot praise Anglia Sunshine Nurseries enough. My little boy has attended for over a year now and loves every minute of his time there. The team deserve so much credit for their hard work and attentiveness. Every single one of them makes the effort to build a relationship with my son and it's a joy to watch him walk into nursery every day with a smile on his face. My daughter (turned 2 in August) has been attending for a month now, and I have nothing but praise for this nursery! Offered excellent settle sessions before her full days started, and little one loves coming now! The staff are all wonderful, and I totally trust them to give my girl the best day. The app is great as I get to see pictures of what she's been up to. My daughter also has dietary needs, and these have been met with great care. I was so worried about going back to work, but I'm so happy now knowing she's at such a lovely nursery.

My son moved to Anglia Sunshine a year ago, and I cannot fault the support he's experienced during this time. The team have been fantastic, so attentive and hard-working - I can't thank them enough for all they have done to support my son's development. It's a fabulous nursery!

We moved to the area just over a year ago and put our son into Anglia Sunshine because we really liked the staff. They have all been brilliant, our son has been so happy there. The communication is excellent and the staff really engage with the children and parents. We will miss the staff as our son starts school this year. Anglia Sunshine has felt like part of the family. Thank you Anglia Sunshine for looking after our son so well.

My son has had an amazing time at Anglia Sunshine. Such a wonderful nursery, I couldn’t recommend it enough. He always comes home exhausted after a fun-packed day. His key worker and other staff are brilliant and very caring. They work so hard and all deserve medals. The amount of fundraising and good deeds they do is incredible and they should be very proud. We will all be very sad to say goodbye when he starts school in September and will miss it terribly. Keep up the good work!

When my daughter first started here she was very shy, very reserved, didn’t know how to mix with other children, didn’t eat a massive variety of foods, the list could go on. Within only a couple of weeks it was obvious that being within the nursery with all the hard work her key person put in to helping her come out of her shell she was a completely different child. I can’t recommend Anglia Sunshine Nurseries for all the hard work they put into each and every child that attends here. My daughter is sadly leaving now to go up to big girl school but she has had a fantastic time here within the year and half she’s been. Thank you Anglia Sunshine Nurseries.

We have had our twin daughters here since August 2020 and so far they have moved through two rooms which were excellent. They are now in their third room, The Poppy, preschool room which is also superb. I can not emphasise how truly amazing this nursery is in every way from the staff to the room leaders to the Manager. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they go above and beyond to ensure that not only our daughters' needs are met in every area but exceeded and they are very supportive of parents. Recently we decided to host a Ukrainian mother and her 4-year-old daughter and the nursery have bent over backwards to accommodate a place for her and support her in her new country, with the language and all areas of development. Thank you, you are all amazing and there should be a rating that exceeds Outstanding. If you want your children to be safe, happy, and engaged there cannot be a better place.

My daughter started this time last year and had very little independence and wouldn't leave my side, within a couple of weeks she was running through the door to get in as she was so excited to be there. She's developed so much in such little time. A little while into her nursery journey she was diagnosed with additional needs and ever since the help we have received has been outstanding. The staff are amazing and very approachable. I wouldn't want my daughter to be anywhere else and will be sending younger siblings to Anglia Sunshine also!
