Spring Nursery Thorpe Hamlet

Our son started in the pre-school room at the start of the year after his last nursery closed abruptly, so it was a sudden big change. He is so happy to go and has settled incredibly quickly. This has been enabled by the fantastic staff support and feedback reassuring us as parents, that there is every reason to be extremely satisfied with the care provided by Spring Thorpe Hamlet. We have been very impressed by all the communication surrounding the service and the extensive measures being taken to keep everyone safe during these challenging and discombobulating times. We are so grateful for all the staff are doing. Thank you.

Both of my children have attended this nursery from ages 1-4. I have always been very happy with them. My kids always loved going. The staff are all lovely and take great care of all of the kids. Would highly recommend.

Both our children have attended or do attend this nursery. Our son got on perfectly and now attends school. Our daughter, we were apprehensive about as she struggled to be away from us, however, we were pleasantly surprised! She loves attending nursery, the staff are amazing, promptly answering queries and are courteous, patient and are easily accessible.

Our little one has been incredibly well supported by the loving, caring and extremely professional staff at the nursery through some pretty tricky times. They have also supported us in our role as his carers and are always ready with a smile and something positive to say, even if it’s been a tricky day. I cannot praise their care, support and help highly enough. We love the Famly app too which helps us keep the partnership between nursery and home going. It’s fabulous to see what he has been doing but also to be able to send photos in so they can talk to him about what he’s been doing at home. Throughout these testing times, the nursery has managed a very difficult situation with their usual awesomeness! There have been some very difficult government guidelines to follow, but they have made it as seamless as possible. To us there are only positives about this setting and the hero staff, they are all simply brilliant. Thank you is never going to be enough when he leaves!

This nursery and staff have been my "Knight in shining armour" so far. My baby was always under the protected supervision and care of his grandparents but we were suddenly left unsupported when the pandemic began as they had to be repatriated at a short notice. Being doctors we were expected to be at the forefront and this was possible only because the nursery team kindly accepted my baby at really short notice and in the best way possible. I would certainly recommend the nursery despite the scary times around as I have seen the conscious measures taken at every level to ensure safety and at the same time the necessary freedom that they have given to all babies with due precautions. Their efforts in making all instructions clear through the app and also being adaptable to working times is very commendable. I thank this wonderful team for taking such good care of my baby, no wonder he has adjusted so well and misses it when he is at home!

My son has attended Spring Nursery since he was 9 months old and is now over 2. He has flourished since attending nursery and his development has come on leaps and bounds through his time in both the Baby Room and now the Toddler Room. He originally attended wearing a medical helmet and staff were brilliant at accommodating this. The nursery closed during the lockdown in 2020 but re-opened in June. I wasn't confident sending my son back right away but they kindly held his place until I was and he returned the month after. Now he's back, I've seen nothing but positive steps taken in regards to the hygiene and cleaning measures in place, with the rooms and toys being regularly sanitised. Temperatures of children are taken before entry for each session and social distancing is adhered to by parents dropping off and picking up. My son's key workers and the rest of the team have been superb, always taking the time to tailor activities to his needs and likes and he adores his time at nursery.

To all staff members: you have always been brilliant but during the pandemic, you proved you are absolutely fantastic and devoted to your work and our children. Many thanks for your hard work.

I have found the staff at Spring Nursery to be excellent. My daughter is thriving there and we are so proud. If I ever have any concerns or worries, they are dealt with professionally and with care. I feel I can trust my daughter to be taken care of in the best possible hands and all the covid regulations are being followed extremely well during these uncertain times.

This nursery has done so well during the lockdown and made me and my partner feel safe and secure about leaving our daughter at the placement, they have gone above and beyond to make the place safe and always kept us up to date better than most places have. A huge thanks to all the staff.

The communication we get is excellent with regular updates on the app throughout the day.

My Grandaughter started at Spring at the beginning of Jan we didn't think she would settle but from day 1 she has loved it and doesn't want to leave at the end of the day. The staff are wonderful and caring and are attentive to each child's needs. I would 100% recommend Spring nursery for any child, you won't be disappointed.

A wonderful place for my little boy to grow and develop. All the staff have been lovely, offering a safe and welcoming space, showing their expertise at handling different personalities.

The manager and staff have always been really friendly, helpful and supportive. The atmosphere at the nursery is always welcoming and I've felt really happy and reassured she is there from day 1. My daughter's key worker is excellent - always smiling and takes an interest in how my daughter is doing, as well as updating me. The App they use is great for finding out progress and seeing what she has been doing.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 12months old. All the staff have cared and taught her so much. It’s a lovely, warm atmosphere and the children are so happy. It’s lovely to see when I pick her up each day. Great to have a key worker for your child so updates are provided each day and the app keeps us up to date on what’s going on.

The staff and management are caring, friendly and kind. My son loves coming to this nursery compared to previous settings he has attended. I would say this is his favourite. There have been a few instances where my son has come out of nursery with a dirty nappy but that's the only thing that could be checked more often, other than that it's a lovely setting and I am very happy that I chose Spring Nursery Thorpe Hamlet. Thank you for all your ongoing care.

My grandson has recently moved here from a different nursery and he loves it. He looks forward to going and when I collect him he can't wait to go tell me about his day. He has learnt so much in the short time he has been here. The staff are all friendly caring and are attentive to the children's needs. I would 100% recommend Spring Nursery for your little one.

The school is very brilliant for my son as he has come on so much in so little time it is a great friendly place the staff are really nice and pleasant and friendly amazing meals are reasonable and my son always comes out happy no matter what if he’s hurt himself or not, he’s always happy and I just think that the school is a heck of a lot better than any other schools that my other children have ever been to.

I have been so happy with the nursery and how they have worked hard to get my baby settled, comfortable and familiar with his new surroundings. All staff have been so friendly, and the other babies/children that attend always seem so happy. I feel very pleased they were able to accept my son.
