Spring Thorpe Hamlet offers a friendly and secure approach to early years learning at an affordable cost. Children aged from 3 months to five years are given the best start to life through early years provision.

The nursery is located in Norwich and offers 53 Ofsted-registered places for children aged from three months to five-years-old. The setting was assessed as 'Good' by Ofsted in March 2023.

A team of caring, friendly and qualified staff help each child develop at their own pace in a safe, friendly and fun environment. Staff plan activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and actively encourage parents to become involved in the life of the nursery.

The nursery is open from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and staff training days.

Spring Nursery is highly recommended.
Staff are always friendly, extremely supportive and welcoming towards me and my daughter!
My daughter always asks for her key worker and cannot wait to get to nursery in the afternoons.
At pick up my daughter is always happy, well cared for, and excited to tell
me about her day.

My granddaughter is so happy at Spring Nursery and is really progressing before starting school in September. The staff are amazing, helpful and provide a very safe and happy environment for all the children. The learning themes are great and we adapted them at home.
The interaction between staff and
parents (or etc.) is very clear and the app is very good, giving updates on a daily basis as well as contact with carers.
The children love the cook's meals.
There is a great outdoor space and they enjoy trips out.
If you’re looking for an excellent nursery, I would highly recommend Spring Nursery.

Lovely nursery. Great staff. My son enjoys going to Spring Nursery.
My son has problems with separation anxiety, which the nursery dealt with well.

I have found the nursery to be a nurturing placement for my child, whilst at the same time, offering a challenging environment where she can grow and develop. Staff are always friendly and put the children at the centre of what they do. The staff strive to put on different activities for the children,
and I know they do an excellent job at engaging the children as my child tells me about her day or recites a new nursery rhyme she has learnt. If there are any changes or updates in relation to the nursery, these messages are always passed on quickly on the nursery app, which has been useful to me as a parent. I just want to say thank you for providing a safe and nurturing environment for my daughter

My son loves going to nursery and always is happy when I mention the nursery teachers' names. I love the fact that they change the activities weekly and always seem very much on the ball about the child's development. The food is cooked there which makes me very happy.

Our child has been going to this nursery since he was a year old. He is always greeted with warmth by the staff and other children alike and loves going. After a worrying and very uncertain start to 2022 with several staff leaving, including the manager, and repeated room closures, the new manager and the loyal staff who remained have really turned things around with the support of their new colleagues. We're so pleased we persevered and stuck by them.
Our daughter runs in enthusiastically each day (what more can you ask for!), enjoys the activities provided and has developed so well in the time she has been there. She happily tells me she prefers the cook's food to mummy's too! Our thanks to the staff for all they do.

The nursery has been wonderful for our son; he skips in every morning! Keen to tell us all about the fun things he has done all day. Learning about himself and the world through play and discovery, as well as actually eating the veggies he won't eat at home! Since the new manager has come on, the nursery

My little boy really enjoys his time in the explorer's room: they do things with him that we wouldn't necessarily do at home, so he gets a wide variety of development opportunities. He also gets to play with the other children, which he doesn't get at home, being the only one! I love hearing about his
day and checking up on him using the app. I feel confident that he is well looked after by the explorer's team.

Well, what can I say? My little boy has loved this nursery and completely fallen in love with a number of the staff members. Even to the point where he says goodnight to them all before bed, which melts my heart.
He brings them up in his conversations regularly at home and only ever in the most positive
of ways. I feel blessed and lucky to have such an amazing nursery and well-chosen staff looking after my son.

My son has been going to Spring Nursery Thorpe Hamlet for nearly a year, and he thoroughly enjoys it! All the staff are kind, caring and very considerate of your child's needs. The app is great for updates throughout the day regarding nappy changes, nap times and food and drink provided on that day.
The staff also provide lovely photos of your child taking part in various activities.

Spring Nursery Thorpe Hamlet is amazing.
Before my son even joined Spring Nursery Thorpe Hamlet, I went in, in tears, worried I wouldn't get a space because my previous nursery had closed. The manager did everything in her power to reassure me she would do everything she could for my son to get a space
where they could accommodate him, and it couldn't have worked out better.
All of the girls in the nursery know the children really well, what they do and don't like, how to tend to them and guide and teach them. I hardly see any children upset, and all children seem so happy when they enter the nursery.
They really do have a wide range of activities, quiet time and sleep time for the children to do whilst at the nursery. My son loves it; playtime is all day for him. The nursery has healthy and filling meals for the children; my son rarely comes back hungry, that's for sure.
I love the fact that they have an app; it really does help me whilst at work with all the updates. Couldn't recommend it more.

My son has been attending since a week before six months. He has nothing but flourished in the nursery. I cannot say enough how lovely, welcoming, friendly and caring the staff are here! They genuinely care about all the children and provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child. The app they
use keeps you live updated with your child for the day and at pick-up a daily recap. Can not recommend this nursery enough.
