Spring Nursery Thorpe Hamlet

My daughter really enjoys Spring Nursery. She always comes home covered in paint and sand, so I know she's had a great day. The meals she gets are always diverse and the staff are lovely. I love getting updates about what she's up to and seeing pictures of her playing and interacting with the various different things they have to help babies progress in regards to walking, speech, fine motor skills etc. Nursery also means she gets to spend time with all her little baby friends, who she adores playing with. The room the babies are in has recently been changed so they have a lot more space to play in and the outside space has been done up. There's so much stuff for them to play with out there, they'd never get bored. Any problems the staff are quick to address and talk to parents to troubleshoot and I love hearing about what she's got up to when I pick her up.

Staff are amazing and they do lots of fun learning activities. The outdoor space is fantastic, lots of different areas to play. The food provided is a great for little ones.

My son has attended Spring Nursery since 2021 and I have been very impressed with the staff, especially of late (after COVID). The nursery really pushed through and became a safe space for my son. He has warmed to several staff, tried new healthy foods, developed friendships and enjoyed his years here! He often talks of new things he has learned, especially space, earthly, garden etc. I love seeing him play outside in the mud and water as children should. Very clean room always.

Staff are very caring and empathic and helped where they could.

At pick up my daughter is always happy, well cared for, and excited to tell me about her day.

Our child has been going to Spring Thorpe Hamlet for more than a year. He loves going and has a great bond with all the staff. Their activities and reports are good; everyone is dedicated to the children’s growth and well-being. The staff listens and works with the parents as a team. We definitely recommend Spring.

The staff have been very supportive with potty training.

Love the staff here. Really warm, fun and genuinely caring about the children. The setting is wonderful, with lots of age-appropriate toys/climbing apparatus/sensory stations. I have found the nursery to be a nurturing placement for my child, whilst at the same time, offering a challenging environment where she can grow and develop. Staff are always friendly and put the children at the centre of what they do. The staff strive to put on different activities for the children, and I know they do an excellent job at engaging the children as my child tells me about her day or recites a new nursery rhyme she has learnt. If there are any changes or updates in relation to the nursery, these messages are always passed on quickly on the nursery app, which has been useful to me as a parent. I just want to say thank you for providing a safe and nurturing environment for my daughter

Really happy with Spring Nursery Thorpe Hamlet. We are into our fourth and final year, and I couldn't fault anything. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. My son is happy and thriving. I would always recommend this nursery.

My son loves going to nursery and always is happy when I mention the nursery teachers' names. I love the fact that they change the activities weekly and always seem very much on the ball about the child's development. The food is cooked there which makes me very happy.

Kind, friendly staff and welcoming when taking my daughter there. They are helpful, really caring and always clean. Like the fact that I get updates on my child when there. Never any faults, and the keyworker for my daughter is amazing.

Our child has been going to this nursery since he was a year old. He is always greeted with warmth by the staff and other children alike and loves going. He has formed amazing bonds with the other children at the nursery and has really developed as a result of the brilliant efforts of the staff at the setting. We couldn't recommend it more.

After a worrying and very uncertain start to 2022 with several staff leaving, including the manager, and repeated room closures, the new manager and the loyal staff who remained have really turned things around with the support of their new colleagues. We're so pleased we persevered and stuck by them. Our daughter runs in enthusiastically each day (what more can you ask for!), enjoys the activities provided and has developed so well in the time she has been there. She happily tells me she prefers the cook's food to mummy's too! Our thanks to the staff for all they do.

The nursery has been wonderful for our son; he skips in every morning! Keen to tell us all about the fun things he has done all day. Learning about himself and the world through play and discovery, as well as actually eating the veggies he won't eat at home! Since the new manager has come on, the nursery has turned around, and lots of smiles all-round.

My little boy really enjoys his time in the explorer's room: they do things with him that we wouldn't necessarily do at home, so he gets a wide variety of development opportunities. He also gets to play with the other children, which he doesn't get at home, being the only one! I love hearing about his day and checking up on him using the app. I feel confident that he is well looked after by the explorer's team.

The app is great for updates throughout the day regarding nappy changes, nap times and food and drink provided on that day. The staff also provide lovely photos of your child taking part in various activities.
