Busy Bees Norwich Meridian

I always feel like my children’s needs are met at Busy Bees. There has always been a great connection between their assigned team member and my boys and it is evident that planning is made to help them progress to their own needs. Their individuality is embraced by all the team which is important to them and how they feel. There is no doubt my boys have grown in confidence and capability as a result of their time at Busy Bees.

The nursery is a purpose built building although there is limited outdoor space. Saying that the children are encouraged to go out and explore and the nursery have made it as interactive as they can with different places to go and hide, textures to find and places to play. They have recently had the toilets revamped and the outside play area for preschool has been redone to a great standard. Overall we are very happy with the nursery and our son's development whilst he's been there.

Busy Bees at Norwich Meridian is an excellent nursery. My daughter spent 2 years there and my twin boys have been there for just over a year. They love/d their time there. The staff are super friendly and very approachable. The meals are healthy and varied so I'm confident they won't go hungry! The summary at pick up times are really reassuring and I know they've had lots of activities to keep them learning and occupied. Couldn't ask for a better setting to leave my precious little ones at whilst I can't be with them.

Our daughter has been coming to the nursery for just over 10 months now, and she absolutely loves it! She first went to the free baby group and we knew right away that she would fit in well there, it just felt like the right place for her. It can be a bit daunting leaving your child in the care of other people, but we had nothing to worry about here. The staff are lovely and always have a smile on their face, you can tell they enjoy what they do. Our little girl adapted so quickly and has really grown and developed since going there. She has so much fun that some days she doesn't want to leave, the number of times I've had to extract her from the sand pit! We couldn't have asked for a better first start for our daughter, and would definitely recommend it here.

Our little girl has been attending Busy Bees for five months now. She really enjoys it and always learns something on every day. The staff are friendly and very helpful and we are really happy that they always have our little girls best interests and safety as a priority.

My son really enjoys learning and playing at Nursery. The meals are always nutritious and varied and it’s great that they are prepared fresh by the onsite chef. I will have no hesitation in sending my daughter when my maternity leave ends.

I visited a number of nurseries before going back to work and Busy Bees, Meridian, stood out by a mile for me. From the very first encounter, I was made to feel very welcome by the manager. Not only did she speak to me, but spoke to my daughter and remembered her name upon every visit. This made me feel comfortable that management is taking interest in gaining my child’s trust and engaging with her rather than just parents. I attended the baby groups most Mondays to help settle her and found staff welcoming and loved the variety of activities. My daughter has a key worker and I feel as though she treats my daughter as one of her own. What I’m looking for in a nursery is that my daughter is happy, comfortable and staff truly cherish her. And I have found that Busy Bees, Meridian, have excelled in achieving this. The staff are a credit to Busy Bees, especially the manager and my child's key workers, who I speak with on a regular basis. Would highly recommend.

Even through challenging times, the nursery and management have always been forthcoming with issues that have arisen throughout the day and placed plans in place to overcome issues. I can't fault the staff for the encouragement to my children and the way that they have enabled the transition to school (for my eldest and now my littlest.) The plans and next steps are always challenging my children but are well within their targets. Food is always fresh and well balanced.

My daughter has attended this setting from 10 months and is now 4. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for her, the staff are brilliant especially the 4 key workers. The security the key worker gives her has helped her confidence. The range of activities provided has stimulated her imagination and development. The facilities have always been spacious, clean and bright with plenty to occupy, make, grow, build. They have separate outside space for all the different ages and preschool garden has just been redeveloped. When she was a baby I loved that there were cots not just mats. There was lots of sensory items around the entire room. In other rooms the role play areas have been one of our daughters favourite past times, that and painting! Recently, home learning books, library days, PE days and chatterboxes have become a big part of our lives as we prepare for school. As a working parent, I’ve loved the longer hours available and 3 meals provided. We are really going to miss Busy Bees.

Our son has been going to the nursery since he was 13 months old, he is currently in the 2-3 room. He loves going to nursery, and I love hearing about his day. We have been very happy with the support the nursery provides and the consistency of care he receives. He has a really great connection with his key workers, which he has only had one per room he has been in. The nursery has been amazing with him since he became a big brother. We are grateful that nursery provides a fun place for him to learn and explore as he wishes. Thank you

Both my children attend this nursery and they absolutely love it and so do I. The staff are all wonderful, the food is amazing, the equipment and gardens are superb and they treat each child as an individual and help stick to routines and provide for every child’s needs.

A lovely nursery environment and the staff are fantastic. The food is varied and healthy. My son is very settled and happy here.

I’ve used Busy Bees Norwich Meridian since December 2012 and have been consistently pleased with the level of care they give our children. Staff turnover can be an issue at times but we’ve been fortunate that our children have built really strong bonds with their key workers and other members of staff. The staff, on the whole, are wonderful and work hard to build and maintain strong bonds with the kids, you can really feel their genuine affection. They strive to keep the activities fresh and work with the children on their individual needs. The communication with parents is also very good and the staff always look to work closely on developmental areas or needs. I’d highly recommend Busy Bees.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for 18 months and she absolutely loves it! She is thriving in this stimulating environment. All staff are encouraging and know her. I feel they are very approachable and give outstanding care.

All the staff provide a nurturing and caring environment for children to thrive in. The staff provide such an amazing and creative range of activities. My son loves it and his first question every morning is 'Am I going to pre-school today?' I don't think he would be where he is developmentally had he not attend Busy Bees.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for almost a year and she is absolutely thriving. She is excited to go in the mornings and doesn’t want to leave when I go to collect her.

I honestly can’t thank the nursery enough for how amazing the staff have all been since my son started nursery! As a mother that works full time it can be apprehensive to leave your child with people you don’t know all week, but the girls and guys have always put my mind at ease and I truly could not fault them in any way shape or form. I would recommend this nursery to any of my friends and family. The staff are so brilliant with all the children and always tell you what the children have been up to and if there are incidents they always inform you!

Starting at 8 months, my son has been at Meridian Way now for a few weeks. As I sat in the foyer choosing the nursery, every child that came in smiled, that gave me confidence and I haven’t been disappointed. The baby room has a lovely feel, lots of activities and lovely staff. The key worker/buddy system works well and my sons' key workers are amazing. My son has come on leaps and bounds in a few short weeks. I have already recommended the nursery to friends who have transferred their own children to it having seen it. If you haven’t visited, I would encourage you to do so!

My Son is nearly 4 years old and has attended Busy Bees Meridian Way since he was 8 months old. The staff are excellent and really understand each child as an individual which is very important. The staff are welcoming, helpful and clearly enjoy what they do. My partner and I have busy, demanding jobs and it's reassuring to know that our Son always has an action packed day with a good level of educational input. My other son is 10 years old and also attended this nursery back in 2007, it was good then, but it's excellent now.

I have been really impressed with the nursery since my daughter started in August. It is very child led and the staff gave us as many settling in sessions as we needed which means I have a very happy settled little girl, who is very keen to go. The staff are always very caring and professional and we get good feedback about how her day has gone. My daughter loves the food, which is prepared on site and there are always really good activities going on. Overall I'd highly recommend this nursery.
