Busy Bees Norwich Meridian

Busy Bees at Norwich Meridian is absolutely fabulous. I have got one child in preschool and the other in babies. Both are looked after well. They are challenged and the new app to give feedback is fabulous. Definitely recommended.

Since starting in the baby room at 8 months old, our daughter has thrived at Busy Bees Meridian. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, and the nursery-home communication is excellent, whether it be in person, over the phone, via the app or through emails. Our daughter settled incredibly quickly and as first-time parents, we felt well supported through this process. Our little girl literally squeals with excitement when we pull up outside and runs in without a second thought for us! She always has a huge smile on her face at the end of the day too, babbling happily all the way home. Her development continues at an accelerated pace, thanks to an engaging, varied curriculum and tailored support from the nurturing staff team. We are so glad we chose this nursery and continue to recommend it to anyone who’ll listen!

My son has attended Busy Bees at Norwich Meridian since being a year old. Throughout his time the care approach to development and communication has been outstanding. Every effort is made to tailor learning to his interests, to develop his next steps and engage parents in the whole process. The staff are dedicated, passionate and kind, they are always prepared to discuss any worries and use information from home to inform learning. The app has improved this engagement and the daily updates light up my day. I can't thank the staff enough, throughout what has been an incredibly challenging year, their diligence, communication and care has never been compromised. We are very grateful to be part of this nursery community.

His key worker is lovely and the new parent zone app is regularly updated with pictures and information on his days at busy bees which is really reassuring. Would definitely recommend it to other parents.

Busy Bees Meridian is a lovely nursery with dedicated, caring staff who work hard to make everyone feel welcome and involved. My eldest daughter was a Busy Bee and now my youngest is thoroughly enjoying her time at nursery. The range of activities and the strong relationships she has built since returning to the nursery after the Covid lockdown show how hard the team have worked over this year to keep the children happy and safe.

Food is outstanding and cooked from scratch on a daily basis in the onsite kitchen, which is rare for a nursery setting, the nursery is clean inside and out and the facilities on offer for the kids are second to none. My son will continue to thrive at Busy Bees until he starts school. I have recommended the nursery to several friends and will continue to do so - even when my boy starts school, as we really couldn’t have hoped for a better nursery, which is made even better by the staff and love in it!

Lovely nursery, welcoming environment which has seen our son settle and thrive. Having moved to the area we had to go on recommendations alone and this was worth listening too.

My daughter started at Busy Bees when she was 9 months and has recently turned 2. Starting in the baby room, moving through Tweenies and now into 2-3's, I have been thoroughly impressed with the facilities available, activities offered and most of all the staff throughout. The staff do specific activities suited to the children, help them feel settled by keeping up to date with what the children enjoy at home and have made extra effort to help my daughter whilst she's struggled with drop-offs. Not only has she grown in confidence but her language and communication have noticeably improved since attending the nursery. I cannot recommend Busy Bees enough!

We’ve had a really positive experience sending our little boy to Busy Bees, the staff are always very friendly and enthusiastic. As a nursery, they offer everything you would expect as a parent as well as lots of extra events which is also very nice. We particularly enjoyed the Summer fete which included sitting inside fire engines which our son really loved.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for over 2 months when writing this review. The staff are very helpful and friendly and our daughter settled in very easily. We are given lots of information about her daily activities which is very helpful to us so that we have continuity at home. A really positive point is that the nursery also practice TinyTalk baby sign language, so again we can use this at home and at nursery. So far we are really pleased with her progress at nursery and we are glad we chose Meridian.

It’s always daunting picking a nursery but we felt this nursery met everything we were looking for and felt comfortable to leave our child there.

Our son absolutely loves Busy Bees and the staff are fantastic. They have fun activities all of the time and they are so reassuring with our precious goods. We would recommend to anyone.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough to people, I love it. My little girl has been going since September 2016 and is now in preschool and she adores it. Every single member of staff there makes her so comfortable at nursery and so happy to be there and you can see that they genuinely care about each and every child that they look after. I am so sad that my little one will be leaving for school in the summer, I wish she could stay at this Busy Bees forever!

We used this nursery from 2017, started at babies and now in pre-school. Our daughter really loves coming to the nursery. She formed a strong bond with staff and other children. Staff are always friendly and the management very caring and responsive. There is a range of activities offered. Equipment and environment help with learning and progress and is very noticeable. It is easy to go to work, knowing that the standard of care is high and all our daughter’s needs are met throughout the day. Food freshly prepared on the premises is tasty and nutritious and made our rather fussy toddler to eat and enjoy almost everything offered now. Thank you for all the great work you are doing!

This establishment and the staff here are exceptional. Everyone is so warming, welcoming and friendly and it's clear genuinely care about the development and well being of the children. Our little girl is besotted with her key worker (and indeed all the other ladies in her room) and I truly believe the bond and relationship all staff create with the children has really helped with my daughter's development; speech, displaying/understanding emotions etc.

I can't speak highly enough of the care provided, learning books/journals and 'plans' for development are created and reviewed/updated regularly - the staff really go over and above. Our girl also has a food allergy which was no problem to be catered for.

Ultimately, it's a genuinely nice place to be, the facilities and activities put on are great, made all the better by the staff employed here. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I have used Busy Bees and all the staff have been friendly and helpful. When I was looking for nurseries for my second child I was comparing the care and experience I received with my first (who went from Babies through to preschool) and nowhere came close to the professional and caring approach the whole team take. They have been brilliant with helping with my second child settling in and I know she is in safe and kind hands.

I love this nursery, my little boy started in May this year and he loves it. The girls in the baby room are so lovely and he's really connected with them. It's easy going to work knowing he's being so well looked after. Thank you for all you do! I've recommended the nursery to my friends, and one of them has already booked their child in.

We have been using the nursery since 2015 and found it to be a welcoming place where our children have felt happy and engaged. The staff all have an excellent rapport with the children. The activities in pre-school are varied and interesting for the children and communication with parents is excellent.

They seem to do lots of activities and have a fun time, which I think is amazing, as I can’t do all the things at home. He actually gets excited going now.

It always looks so clean. The door is so lovely and he is so lucky to eat everything, gosh, wish I was eating it.

I do love how the managers in reception know all the kiddies by name and say hello and things, so personal and really welcoming.

Would be nice to get the facility that other nursery’s have online to give daily feedback like tapestry. However the ladies always give such an amazing feedback face to face in person .
