The beautiful Fulbourn Day Nursery and Preschool, eco-friendly in design and located within Capital Park, is designed to enrich the learning and development of your child, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Set in a green and tranquil environment, the spacious, purpose-built nursery has rooms tailored to suit each age group. The Nursery staff team use babies’ natural curiosity and a range of sensory toys to help develop their motor skills, physical development and speech recognition. Toddler rooms are set up to help them learn more about the world around them – interesting shapes, textures and words. Preschoolers enjoy early reading, writing and mathematics in fun and interesting ways, alongside other subjects such as art and science.

To extend your child’s play and learning beyond the bright indoor facilities, Fulbourn nursery has an extensive garden. Each age group has its own area, with age-appropriate toys to encourage physical development, coordination and teamwork. The Nursery also has a beautiful natural meadow that is used in the warmer months as an outdoor classroom.

The nursery in Fulbourn is on the northern end of Capital Park. There is ample onsite car park and great access to the bus routes on Fulbourn Old Drift. The Nursery has all-inclusive fees, including all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes, which gives you less to worry about on busy mornings.

My daughter loves coming to this nursery. They offer a wide range of stimulating activities, and I know that when I pick my daughter up that she's had a fulfilling day. All credit to the staff at the nursery who do an amazing job.

This is a fantastic modern nursery with great facilities and extremely friendly and competent staff who are passionate about their jobs. It is really well run by the manager and as a parent, we are kept up to date with all that is going on. Our son loves it!

For my son the nursery employees a teacher, and I have found my child's education level has improved. Also they have made learning fun for him. He is always referencing his teacher in conversation. Thank you for giving the WOW factor.

My kids have been attending the nursery for about 2 years now, and I do feel like they're safe, happy and being well looked after
It's a spacious and welcoming environment. The staff are friendly and there's plenty of activities for the kids, both in-doors and out. Activities are well structured, and
as parents you get regular emails on what's planned for the weeks ahead, menu and general updates.
When I had questions or concerns, the key-persons, room leaders and the manager, always made themselves available and looked into/answered whatever it was.
I'm really happy with Bright Horizons Fulbourn, but the choice of nursery is a very personal one, and different parents will have different requirements and expectations, so take the time to visit nurseries and talk to the staff.

It is very comforting to know your child is being taken care of in the best possible way. My son is always so happy to arrive at the nursery in the morning and I can tell how much the people there care about him. Cannot really ask for more.

My 2.5 year-old daughter is extremely happy in Fulbourn Nursery. Staff are really nice, joyful and you can be 100% sure your kid is in good hands. Nursery is extremely clean, what is very difficult to find. The Principal of the nursery is really nice, organized and knows all kid names. They organize
too several activities out of hours that helps parents to meet, making of the nursery a nice community between kids, staff and parents. I have recommended this nursery to several friends.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2016

I have been employed with Bright Horizons since February 2016. I hold a level 5 qualification in leadership and management within the early years.


I have been based at the Fulbourn Nursery and been promoted from Nursery Nurse to Room Leader then Deputy Manager and now I am proud to be the Manager of the Fulbourn Nursery. I enjoy leading the team to provide a safe and stimulating environment.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Jen has been part of the Bright Horizons family since February 2020, initially in the preschool room before transitioning to the role of room leader in the baby room. Progressing steadily, she assumed the position of Third in Charge in September 2022, eventually being promoted to her current role as deputy manager in September 2023.


Outside of work, Jen finds joy in family moments, particularly cherishing time spent with her grandson and leisurely walks with her dog.
