Discover the modern, purpose-built Cambridge Science Park Day Nursery and Preschool, designed to inspire your child and support their development, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
With five spacious, open-plan rooms your child will have plenty of space to explore, with age-tailored resources and imaginative learning environments. Each room has free-flow access to its own garden and they also have a communal courtyard with a large built-in sandpit where the children are able to feel the sand between their toes and imagine they’re exploring the seaside.

The Team pride themselves on providing a safe, exciting and enjoyable nursery where children thrive as they learn. They provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well-established Boogie Mites and the unique Growing Enhancement programmes. These ‘Growing’ programmes give your child the inspiration and knowledge to navigate subjects such as mathematics, art, reading and writing. They also encourage vocational subjects such as art, gardening and cooking, helping to lay the foundations for future academic and creative achievements. The nursery is a very convenient location in the Science Park for parents working in the Park.
The staff are very friendly and we experienced very few changes in my child's key person.
They do have a lot of activities at the nursery.
However, I would love to see more photos or progress reports updated
on a parental portal as sometimes it can be difficult to obtain this information.
Overall, it's a good nursery and preschool that I would recommend to others.

Our daughter has been in Bright horizons Cambridge Science Park nursery for six months now and we are 100% satisfied. The staff have been brilliant and our girl loved her time there. I would have absolutely no hesitation to take our younger one there too.

My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time at Bright Horizons at Cambridge Science Park. She has always been happy and well supported. The staff are all lovely and the key workers are particularly good at engaging with the children and tailoring to their needs.

The staff, especially in Unit 2, are exceptional. They go out of their way to help our daughter's needs get met. They are currently helping her with potty training and she has a wonderful rapport with them. They know she loves animals and offer to take her outside to find the 'birdies' if she is upset
that mummy is leaving and this distraction works without fail. She has a toothbrush at nursery and the staff will help her to brush her teeth and the nursery are amazing at catering for her vegan diet, which we feel extremely passionate about. Thank you!

Our daughter just started to come here. She's still in the adjustment period but the staff here take their time to make her feel welcome. Our daughter loves spending time with her key worker. I like the fact that the nursery organises picnics for the parents to get to know the nursery better. A wonderful

My son settled in very well with the nursery. I think a big part of that was the two weeks induction period which gradually introduced him to the new situation. I can see that he truly likes his key person very much, and she is doing a fantastic job caring for him.
Kids are outside in the garden most
of the day, but when indoors they are exposed to a number of activities led by a different theme each week. He has his little book of progress and good notes are given out to parents each day. There are a lot of kids in the unit which firstly was a bit scary I think more for me than for him, but of course, there is always enough staff to take care of them. Lunches are interesting, exposing kids to different texture and flavours. Nursery - alongside other communications, issues a weekly newsletter which gives parents a bit of a heads up on what their little ones will be up to that week.

My son is always excited to attend nursery. He is always having a good time when I collect him. The staff obviously work very hard at building strong relationships with children. The children spend a lot of time outside but when they are inside the variety of activities - especially arts and crafts
based ones - is incredible.

Our daughter has attended Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park since she was 7 months old and has always enjoyed herself there. The staff in the baby room and the next room have always been helpful and attentive. It's also been wonderful to see her develop into a much more confident person.

My son could only speak my own country's language so I was worried that he would be able to enjoy and talk with other children.
However, his skill of English is surprisingly improving and he sings some English songs even at home.
He seems to enjoy the activities at nursery like drawing and singing.

Since the Manager came back there is a big difference in the nursery. My son's development is amazing. Every day he is learning new things. There is much more variety in toys and books and the team are doing their best to support the children's development. Thank you to the Manager for making this place

My husband and I have had a very positive experience at the nursery. We have built a relationship with the nursery which has provided my daughter a safe place for her to spend time, by developing and growing.
We appreciate the staff's hard work and effort to maintain a good place for our daughter
to learn, gain confidence and develop new skills ready for reception.
My daughter has a special rapport with the staff, especially her keyworker.

A great preschool, it really helped my daughters development, both with early years knowledge and personal skills.

We have loved sending our daughter here. She started when she was 9 months old and is just leaving now for school. She has always received excellent care from the kind and attentive staff and has lots of wonderful friends here. She loves the food and gets really lovely nutritious meals. We send our

I am extremely happy with the care and attention my daughter receives from the nursery staff. They have been so helpful in supporting her speech and she has gained so much confidence from attending nursery. Her two key workers have been fantastic and she has really bonded well with both of them.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2019

I have worked within the childcare industry since 2009 and have immensely enjoyed every minute of it! I joined our Bright Horizons family in 2012, where I have continued to grow and develop within the company and gained my NVQ Level 3 qualification.


I have enjoyed the experience with all ages, but even more so with the younger children due to being a room leader in a baby room for 7 years. My passion is to thrive in exceptional parent and partnership, maintaining a good relationship with all parents and potential clients to ensure parents know they can approach me when necessary. I have a son who makes me proud every single day as he grows and develops with all the new skills he's learning. I am a bubbly, outgoing character who loves animals, especially horses, as I was brought up around them. This gives me a great excuse to explore the countryside with my family at the weekends. My son keeps me busy and enjoys visiting the zoo and farms in our spare time, too!
