We were very happy with Bright Horizons. Great management team, who were much more personable than other local nurseries. Caring staff. They coped with the lockdown really well. I found the opening hours great for the cost, having needed to limit to school day hours at another nursery before due to the high fees.
The nursery has thorough security measures, excellent cleanliness, wonderful facilities and fantastic staff who make our son feel so welcome. They communicate regularly and clearly regarding our son's development, and they have accommodated his needs at every developmental stage. The staff really care about the children, and we always feel that it is a friendly and warm environment when we drop off and collect our son.
I could write so much more praise than there is space for in this review, but would especially like to thank the staff at the nursery for their diligence and the high quality of care that they provide to our son. Their response to the COVID crisis has been incredible too, and I would expect no less from such a fantastic nursery.
It is a pretty good nursery. My daughter has spent 3 years here. There are many activities and enough time playing outside. Most of the staff are responsible and patient. I am relieved to put my child there.
We've had our son attend Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park for the last two years since he was ten months old. There was hardly ever a day he was not excited to go to nursery in the morning. Every evening, he was full of excitement and happy about his day there and all the activities he's gotten up to. To us as parents, this was the best indication that this is indeed a phenomenal place for our kid. The staff throughout all the units have been great, extremely friendly, warm and capable.
Well organised and my daughter enjoyed it a lot.
Overall, we had a very pleasant experience with the nursery.
Our daughter has really enjoyed her two years here. She is excited to be moving on to big school, but will miss her friends and teachers. We have been very pleased with the quality of care provided, especially, by her key workers, who have done an excellent job in looking after her.
The team has created an excellent bonding environment. Thanks to the team for the care. My son has made many wonderful friends and tons of stories to tell every day. Great appreciation for all the effort.
I was impressed with this nursery when I first walked in as it is a lovely, well designed, safe environment with wonderful play facilities. However, what has most impressed me is how well the staff care for my children and how much effort they put in. They generate so much fun, varied and stimulating activities that my children really enjoy. My children have also learned and developed a lot in this time and I think the nursery staff have been a hugely positive influence. Most importantly, I am confident that my children are 100% safe and well cared for here.
We've had kids at the nursery for three years and found the staff to be friendly, the management to be organised and our children have really enjoyed growing up here.
The scheme helps to release the financial burden to a certain degree if you start to add lots of extra sessions; quite an innovative approach!
There are many activities, including crafting, cooking, etc. that take place every day. It is quite spacious in general, so that the kids can bring in bikes and scooters as well. It is worthwhile to consider to introduce some extra activities for pre-school.
Absolutely wonderful nursery, with amazing support and teaching for the children. The atmosphere was great, and each room thrived. The facilities were fantastic for the children, allowing them to explore and build on their characters and interests. The staff are absolutely incredible, extremely engaging and enthusiastic with the children creating a brilliant environment for them. We are gutted to have moved and couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. There is nothing greater than leaving your children knowing the fun, exciting, educational days that they are going to be having!
In short, very happy with this nursery and feel confident to leave my child in their competent hands.
The food the nursery provides is varied and healthy. My daughter learned to eat very well and I am pleased she gets such a variety of tastes and textures. I have asked for her not to have processed sugar so they only give yoghurt and fruit as deserts.
The staff are very friendly and provide detailed information about my daughter's day. They are always ready to listen and help with any questions or topics related to my child's daily routine. I like the way the carers engage with children ie. songs, activities, teaching them sign language, etc.
My son is very happy in preschool. He has a very healthy relationship with the staff and has built strong friendship groups. He really enjoys learning through songs, books and imaginative play as fostered through the education programme in preschool. I feel that the staff and management care deeply about his special needs and development and I trust that they always act in his best interest. I also like their sensitive approach to managing behaviour and have found that this has worked well to nurture my son's best personality characteristics. His time in preschool has certainly fully prepared him for starting school this year, and he will miss the staff and have fond memories of them.
The staff are extremely friendly, qualified and nurturing. For example, my baby had a difficult time adjusting to the nursery in the beginning and the staff were extremely supportive of me and my baby to get him comfortable in the nursery by giving us extra time and settling in sessions to get my baby settled. I also very much appreciate the cleanliness of the nursery which was important to me when choosing a nursery.
Our son loves going. They feed him well (which is very important for a growing 2-year-old) with a varied diet and plenty of fruit.
There are lots of group activities, if the weather is nice, they go outside, even in winter, just wrap up warm. With group book reading, singing, counting and talking about colours. They also take the time to do small group or individual activities like painting, leaf rubbing, cooking, etc.
Very balanced activities. Good educational content.
The staff are great, all really friendly and each child has a key worker who they get to know well and is your key contact.
My child started this nursery in October 2018. He loves going to nursery and has learnt a lot from being there.
Nursery staff are very attentive to his needs and they offer the best care that we can possibly think for the well-being of our child. Our son is happy to go to nursery because he plays, sings, dances and carried our a diverse number of activities. We are very happy overall.
My son attends nursery five days a week and is always excited to go. He does a wide variety of activities including lots of crafting and singing. I know they go outside whenever they can. The rooms are regularly updated - at the moment a corner of the room has been turned into a space rocket and it looks amazing. My son talks about the staff and the other children very fondly. The staff are warm and genuine; they were especially supportive when my son was potty training.
Good value for money. Our 1-year-old daughter seems happy and enjoys the activities. Staff are very conscientious and hard working.

Meet the Team (1)
I have worked within the childcare industry since 2009 and have immensely enjoyed every minute of it! I joined our Bright Horizons family in 2012, where I have continued to grow and develop within the company and gained my NVQ Level 3 qualification.
I have enjoyed the experience with all ages, but even more so with the younger children due to being a room leader in a baby room for 7 years. My passion is to thrive in exceptional parent and partnership, maintaining a good relationship with all parents and potential clients to ensure parents know they can approach me when necessary. I have a son who makes me proud every single day as he grows and develops with all the new skills he's learning. I am a bubbly, outgoing character who loves animals, especially horses, as I was brought up around them. This gives me a great excuse to explore the countryside with my family at the weekends. My son keeps me busy and enjoys visiting the zoo and farms in our spare time, too!
