Discover the modern, purpose-built Cambridge Science Park Day Nursery and Preschool, designed to inspire your child and support their development, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
With five spacious, open-plan rooms your child will have plenty of space to explore, with age-tailored resources and imaginative learning environments. Each room has free-flow access to its own garden and they also have a communal courtyard with a large built-in sandpit where the children are able to feel the sand between their toes and imagine they’re exploring the seaside.

The Team pride themselves on providing a safe, exciting and enjoyable nursery where children thrive as they learn. They provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well-established Boogie Mites and the unique Growing Enhancement programmes. These ‘Growing’ programmes give your child the inspiration and knowledge to navigate subjects such as mathematics, art, reading and writing. They also encourage vocational subjects such as art, gardening and cooking, helping to lay the foundations for future academic and creative achievements. The nursery and the baby room team are incredible, I can't thank them enough for the care they have given to my little boy. The rooms are light and bright, and there is plenty for him to play and explore - which is super important for an active child! We love getting updates through the app, which keeps
us in touch throughout the day. Overall, the best place for him to be. He grins when we drop him off.

I have been with Science Park, Bright Horizon since 2019 for my older daughter and this year for my younger baby. I have really loved the culture, the room layout, the hygiene, the management, the staff and how well it works all together. The way that the staff and management act on your concerns, comments
and feedback is great and I have always benefitted from their solutions and open discussions. Honestly, I have always felt that we are like a family and I have had peace of mind at work as my kids were in good hands. Big thank you!

All members of staff are very helpful and have the best interests in mind. They take great care of my baby. We trust them with our precious baby every day and I believe this speaks for itself. My baby's key person is amazing and I can see how much my baby feels happy and secure with her and in the nursery
in general.

My child has been at the nursery for just under a year and the care has been outstanding! The staff were very caring and considerate when settling him in. The staff share photos of my child playing and engaging in such a wide variety of activities. The outdoor space is great, as each room have their
own private garden, they have some lovely tricycles that my child absolutely loves. The Staff and management are always happy to answer any questions that me and my wife have. The nursery always seems clean and inviting and activities are always set up, ready for my child to play with when arriving. Me and my wife are very happy to have chosen this nursery to send our son to. He absolutely loves it there and all the staff too. He has come on leaps and bounds with his development since starting. Would highly recommend.

Outside space very dirty and uninviting, one garden completely overgrown.
Staff seemed overstretched, unable to give reasonable attention to individual children.
Seldom saw any original activities on settling in sessions - just routine play with toys.
Staff variable, some excellent, some seemed uninterested.
Food
seemed good, cooked fresh each day, and interesting menu options.
Management are responsive to concerns but made crucial mistakes with regards to child starting.
Reasonably clean inside but by no means sparkling.
Children seemed to frequently have accidents during settling-in sessions - staff spent a lot of time completing accident forms.
Toys are well worn - some books ripped and unreadable, most toys chipped/worn/damaged.
Each child has their own learning plan on paper but saw no reference to this during day-to-day care.
Just increased prices despite the above - expensive compared to other nurseries.
Based on the above, decided not to proceed to send our child to this nursery.

Both my kids have joined the Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park Day Nursery and Preschool in Cambridge from 6 months old and will be there until they start reception.
It is very important for parents to always see smiley people taking care of our children and actually care for them.
It is so impressive
that all staff are there all day with the kids and still they are smiling!
Well done to all of you.
Last month, we were very surprised to find a book in our son's bag, as a birthday present, and more when we saw it is a book both in my native language and English. I don't know where his key person found it, but this is an amazing move to do!
A special thank you and well done to everyone should be said in the baby room! Thank you so very much for raising our kids with so much care and love.
Last but not least, a big thank you to management.
If this nursery was open on the weekends, our kids would still be there!
Thank you for keeping this nursery such an amazing place for our trouble makers!

My son started here at 13 months and left to start school at 4 years.
He loved going and had such a strong bond with the staff. I felt really comfortable leaving him as a baby in the care of the team. He got lots of care and attention and I felt really well informed. As he moved through the various
rooms his confidence grew, he ate well, slept well and his language really developed.
In preschool, he was at his best. The team supported him in still needing a short afternoon nap and helped him transition from nappies to a very confident toilet user.
The app provided by Bright Horizons is also fantastic - I loved being able to see what he had eaten and if he had slept.
The staff even noted when he had washed his hands.
He's on to his next adventure now but I will always be grateful to the team here for such a strong start in friendship forming and developing a love of learning. Thank you!

I would like to share my experience with Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park and to say thank you to the entire team for looking after our little girl for over 2 years. The care and love were outstanding. We had many doubts before sending our girl to the nursery at the age of one. If not for the
understanding of the team and allowing me to stay with my girl for a week and see what it was like to be in the babies room, I would have not been able to make this hard choice to let her enter the nursery instead of going to a childminder or a nanny. I saw how much work and dedication goes into this and I felt that this was the right decision after all. Our girl learnt so much, made many friends, brought lots of artwork home and enjoyed her time at the Bright Horizons Science Park. Even now all that she could think is her craft activities that she has been doing at the nursery.


Thank you again, we are sad to say goodbye!

The team here at Cambridge Science Park helped our twins settle in really quickly when they joined at the beginning of this academic year. There have never been any problems with them not wanting to come or to separate from us on arrival which has been fantastic! The twins have been extremely well
supported in their development and we are really impressed by how far they have progressed with letter and number recognition and writing as well as other themes such as space. Can’t recommend it enough! Thanks, Cambridge Science Park!

We moved to Cambridge from London a year ago. Our son started Bright Horizons Science Park Nursery. It is almost 12 months now. We are glad to find this great nursery with wonderful people.
They are responsible people with great communication. They always replied our questions fast, helped us whenever
we needed. Also our son is allergic to multiple food, they created a special diet lunch/snacks and it was really helpful for us.
We feel very lucky that we found them. Special thanks to the manager and all the great staff.

My daughter has being going to the baby unit since ten months and continued until two years old. I love their staff, all so friendly and professional. We can always get detailed information about what my daughter did when we go pick her up. Her key person in the baby room is very attentive and keen
to details, we totally trust her with our baby so we can focus at work. My daughter also enjoys her time there, they have bright rooms and nice gardens. When Covid-19 hit the UK last year and the nursery had to be closed, they didn't ask us to pay any fees or force us to go back when they started again, so that we can wait with no pressure until safer time. We are choosing them again after the lockdown because they are awesome!

My daughter is in unit 3 and she is so happy. Every day she goes to nursery with a smile on her face. She knows all the staff, they are all doing an excellent job. I couldn't be more happy and confident that she is well cared for and having fun.

I would highly recommend this nursery. My daughter only goes twice a week but the staff are friendly and we are told what they've done during the day (which seems packed with fun and exciting activities). My daughter loves going and has excelled a lot with her speech, her confidence and her independence.

My child is at the Bright Horizons Science Park Cambridge and he loves it there. He is 17-months-old and has learnt balanced walking, singing with actions, loves to paint and feeding/holding his spoon with either hand. I’m so impressed. They are extremely hardworking, well organised and very disciplined.

I cannot recommend Bright Horizons - Cambridge Science Park enough! Such warm, caring and considerate staff that go above and beyond every day and have the very best interests of my children at heart. My daughter (4-years) has been in attendance since she turned 1, and there's very rarely a day where
she doesn't talk of staff members in the evening, who have clearly had a big impact on her. Her learning, development and social skills have been managed extremely well, and staff have massively helped shape the confident, smart little girl she has become. I have been enthralled to watch as my daughter's numeracy, alphabet and singing ability have massively improved this year, and it is quite clear she is being taught in a fun and engaging learning environment. It will be a very sad day when my daughter progresses to 'big school', but am blessed that the nursery is now caring for my 1-year-old son, and know from experience he will receive the best possible care.

My little boy has been attending nursery here for the last 6 months in unit 2. He has come on leaps and bounds! He loves nursery, all of the staff know him when I drop him off and he runs in, it is such a relief to drop him off at a place where I know he has fun, is safe and is learning all the time.
The nursery has taken Covid safety very seriously, we are always updated by email on current situations and the drop off / pick up procedure has all been adapted to be as safe as possible. I would highly recommend the nursery and the wonderful staff.

We were very happy with Bright Horizons. Great management team, who were much more personable than other local nurseries. Caring staff. They coped with the lockdown really well. I found the opening hours great for the cost, having needed to limit to school day hours at another nursery before due to

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2019

I have worked within the childcare industry since 2009 and have immensely enjoyed every minute of it! I joined our Bright Horizons family in 2012, where I have continued to grow and develop within the company and gained my NVQ Level 3 qualification.


I have enjoyed the experience with all ages, but even more so with the younger children due to being a room leader in a baby room for 7 years. My passion is to thrive in exceptional parent and partnership, maintaining a good relationship with all parents and potential clients to ensure parents know they can approach me when necessary. I have a son who makes me proud every single day as he grows and develops with all the new skills he's learning. I am a bubbly, outgoing character who loves animals, especially horses, as I was brought up around them. This gives me a great excuse to explore the countryside with my family at the weekends. My son keeps me busy and enjoys visiting the zoo and farms in our spare time, too!
