Young Sussex Nursery (Shoreham)

We've been really impressed with the team at Young Sussex and our daughter has thrived there. We're very grateful to the team for their expertise, care, and support. They showed real compassion when our daughter was poorly in hospital and we feel they are very much in tune with her developmental needs and they are always considerate in keeping us updated. My daughter settled in very quickly at Young Sussex and loved her days at nursery. Staff at Young Sussex were brilliant - friendly, always kept us well informed and consistently had my daughter’s best interests in mind. My daughter used to come home singing the songs she learnt at nursery and seemed to enjoy the activities.

Both my children have attended Young Sussex and have loved it. The nursery has provided great foundations for learning and skills that will serve them well throughout school and beyond. Many of the staff have been there since we started with irk our eldest 8 years ago which shows a real testament to their dedication and passion for their job.

My daughter has attended Young Sussex (Shoreham) from the age of 1 until 4 and she has just left to begin school. The Young Sussex team have been a fundamental foundation in her development and she has absolutely flourished with their support into a confident, kind young lady! The staff always go the extra mile and they all absolutely adore the children. My son joined the nursery at the beginning of the year too and I couldn’t wish for a better place to help him grow like his sister has! Thank you everyone at Young Sussex Shoreham!

My son has attended this Nursey since he was year old. He has just left to attended school and has asked every day since when is he going back. The team at Shoreham is simply amazing supportive kind and caring. The connections they make with the children is so lovely to see and you just know you are leaving them in safe hands.

I cannot recommend Young Sussex, Shoreham highly enough. The manager and her team have been fantastic, supporting our daughter for the last 3 years. The staff go above and beyond making it a fun, yet educational day. It has been a brilliant stepping stone for her starting school. Each day they have a variation of activities and often have theme weeks, whether it’s linked to a book or topic like space, science etc the attention to detail to decorate the room and link the messy play activities are very well thought out. It’s nurturing and one thing which strikes us is there have been very little staff changes which has meant our daughter settled well throughout the pandemic and transition from the baby room to preschoolers. We cannot thank you enough Young Sussex.

I would highly recommend Young Sussex. Our son started when he was 9 months old and settled very quickly, with the support of staff. We have felt very involved with Young Sussex, despite COVID restrictions and have felt very reassured leaving our baby there. The outside space is fantastic and there are plenty of stimulating activities on offer. Our son has had no problems settling in and has developed excellent relationships with the carers there. There is lots of flexibility regarding swapping sessions and staff have bent over backwards to accommodate last-minute changes. All the carers are very positive and professional and we would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

Young Sussex Nursery (Shoreham) has been an amazing nursery for my children. My daughter attended first and she really enjoyed going. They were supportive and really helped her. My son attends now and Young Sussex Nursery (Shoreham) has also been amazing for him too. He has special needs and they have a wonderful support system to help him with his needs. The staff are so friendly and kind and will always go above and beyond to help with anything they can. Would definitely recommend.

Young Sussex has been amazing with my son. I was unsure about how he would settle and the staff have been fantastic with him couldn’t thank them enough. He loves going into nursery every day. Outstanding nursery staff who interact fantastically with my grandson who's come on leaps and bounds in the time he has been here. He loves going to nursey and has a great relationship with his key worker.

I can not recommend Young Sussex Nursery (Shoreham) enough. All staff has always been so kind and welcoming to our son and ourselves. Thank you so very much for looking after our son over the last year. We were very happy with the care received and or son has learned a lot. He has enjoyed his days at nursery so much, made friends, and created lovely bonds with the staff. We felt confident, that our son is well looked after and can't thank all the staff enough. We are so sad our time Young Sussex has come to an end. Both of our boys have absolutely thrived since they were 10 months old. We have felt so at ease knowing how caring, knowledgeable and fun the staff are. We have had absolutely no issues and loved every minute. The updates, communication and overall care has been absolutely incredible. Even during COVID times we felt valued and truly looked after. You will forever be in our hearts. Thanks so much for everything. We miss you already!

My son has attended Young Sussex since he was 15 months old and has just left to start school. At the time we were choosing nurseries we went to view a few of the local ones and found Young Sussex to be the most welcoming and homely feeling. I have never regretted that decision since! He has had the most wonderful introduction to learning in a very caring and happy environment. He has been so sad to leave and not see his favourite “teachers” anymore but he is now starting school and is more than ready for it thanks to the start Young Sussex has given him. I could not recommend this nursery enough for the wonderful teachers it employs and also for the great management of this nursery and the chain. The way they dealt with the lockdown situation was second to none and we were kept fully updated at all times as to what this would mean to us. This was a great relief in such strange times.

I like the fact that Young Sussex has clear guidance and policies that are strictly followed. Have recommended this nursery to several friends and will continue to do so.

I would absolutely recommend Young Sussex Shoreham. I took a long time to choose a nursery and was very anxious about sending my daughter when she was so little (11-months-old), but from the first viewing the staff were so friendly and put me at ease. My daughter has now been at Young Sussex for over 18 months, and she absolutely loves going in to play with her friends. There has not been a single day that she has not bounced out at the end of the day with a huge smile on her face. They have a lovely little routine, and my daughter does lots of different activities, bringing home lots of art work every day. She is extremely well looked after there, and all the staff are so kind and caring. I really think it is a fantastic nursery.

We are so pleased we chose Young Sussex in Shoreham for our daughter. She started at the age of one and has absolutely thrived since joining. There are always updates on the app, which is great to see. I love getting the artwork and creations at the end of each week. All the staff are extremely friendly, and they give feedback after every session. Nothing is ever too much trouble! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our daughter.

Our second son started at Young Sussex, and he absolutely loves it. The staff, especially his key person, are so nurturing and brilliant - we couldn't be happier. Our son has come on so much since starting, and the feedback and pictures on the app mean we are assured he is doing lots of lovely things every day.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Young Sussex who have looked after my daughter in Hoots. Before my daughter started at Young Sussex, she wasn’t a fan of getting messy/dirty and she was quite shy and didn’t want to leave my side at times. After her time at Young Sussex she has come out very sociable, loves making friends and especially loves to get messy during messy play. I am also glad that my daughter is more independent and doesn’t get upset when I take her to nursery. I also want to say a huge thank you to one member of staff for always going that extra mile in helping my daughter in every way possible. Thank you all again, I highly recommend this nursery 1000%.
