Young Sussex Nursery (Shoreham)

All the staff are fantastic, I couldn't recommend them highly enough!!

Our child has been at the above nursery for nearly 2 years and he has enjoyed every minute. The staff turnover is very low, which I think is a good sign. The nursery liaises with me as the parent frequently about my son's development etc. The lunches and snacks provided are great - healthy and varied.

Excellent communicated- emails, newsletter and pick-u and drop off. Lots of creative play and learning/education, caring and warm staff. Excellent activities!

Both of my children attend young Sussex Shoreham and as a family we could not be happier with our choice of nursery. All of the lovely amazing staff go above and beyond to ensure our children are safe and happy and most importantly have fun and learn. We always get feedback from staff about our child's day and they have regular parents evenings which is great. There always seems to be a variety of activities and resources available and the manager is also very hands on but promptly replies to any emails or queries. So so happy with this nursery.

We have been really happy with everything about Young Sussex since our daughter started here. The staff are extremely caring and focussed on the childrens development and my daughter thoroughly enjoys every day at nursery. Initiatives such as forest school are great for the children. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Young Susses.

Our daughter is very happy at Young Sussex. She always seems to have had lots of fun when we collect her. She comes home singing new songs and gained confidence. The staff at Young Sussex are always very welcoming and easy to approach. Our daughter is always happy to see them too. We are very happy with the facilities and activities they provide.

A very traditional and sensible, caring, environment. We are very pleased with the speed at which my child has progressed from baby to well rounded toddler. Soon she will be at school and we feel she has been well prepared. Young Sussex has kept us informed at all phases of her development and when we have had the inevitable minor concerns that a "little person" creates, everything has been speedily and sensitively addressed and sorted out. If anything we would only say that the garden date could have a better lock. Otherwise everything else is excellent!

We love Young Sussex Nursery for it's homely feel and the knowledge that our daughter is well cared for and her development is tracked constantly to ensure the most is made from her strengths and she is pushed to develop further.

We are now in a position where we no longer require the facilities of a nursery however I would never even begin to consider removing my son from here. He absolutely loves going to "school" playing with his friends and the adults. Everyday he comes home beaming and telling me all about the things he has been doing. He learns so much here and the staff are so accommodating to our needs nothing we ever ask is too much trouble and they are not only pro active in identifying his needs but work with us in areas we want him to focus on. They never disappoint and bend over backwards to juggle staff and have additional days required at short notice.

Fantastic nursery. The staff are very attentive to the children ensuring they are nurtured and having fun at all times. Great with routines and making children feel safe and happy. Amazing enthusiasm even at the end of the day!

Young Sussex has helped develop my daughter into a happy, caring, polite and confident child and have prepared her beautifully for ‘big’ school. No complaints, very happy.

A great nursery, my daughter attended from 6 months of age and is leaving in 2 weeks aged 4 and a half to start school in September. My 1 year old son now attends too and they have been extremely accommodating, having extra training for staff due to his special healthcare needs.

This setting is stimulating and fun from the moment children walk through the door. My son has been at Young Sussex for 4 years and everyday of his attendance he has been greeted with a smile and warm welcome and walked into a room set up with interesting and inviting activities ready to go! The staff all encourage the children to be individual and link learning into any topic that your child is interested in to further their knowledge and growth in a fun and interesting way. There is a great communication line and all staff are approachable, understanding and helpful. I would recommend this setting to all!
