The staff at my daughter's nursery are all very friendly and seem to genuinely care about my daughter. Hand over is sufficient and they are quick to tell me of any accidents at occur. The nursery are open to me putting her in for extra days. However one negative is that I get charged for bank holidays
even though they are closed which means I'm paying for an extra 8 days a year I'm not getting. The garden recently had a refurb which in my opinion made it worse not better. There's nothing for the kids to do anymore! What's the opal play? Must be changed. The nursery are also always prompt to reply to my emails.

Love this nursery! The staff are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming and the facilities are ace. My son has made loads of friends and the parents of the other children are all so lovely too. It feels like a little community.
My son has been attending since nine months old, he's three now and he's
been able to have the same key worker consistently for over a year, but he loves all the staff. They're great with communication of any issues that occur and are always helpful when I have questions. They're also great with working with what you need in terms of nap lengths, potty training, etc as well.
My son is safe and happy and making great progress and good friends. 10/10 would recommend.

My daughter attends Kiddi Caru Nursery and she loves it. She joins in with lots of different activities and the staff are very passionate about making each activity impactful.
My daughter did have a little transitional problem whilst moving to the older class and my husband and I were worried about
this. However, the amazing staff noticed this and took the time to reassure us and support us on how to approach this and subsequently, not long after this our daughter was settled and happy again. We really appreciated the genuine care and support from the staff.

We are always impressed with Kiddi Caru. The care and effort they have towards our child and the range of activities they offer to enrich and educate the babies, toddler's and children.


They have really thought about the environment they want to create and this involves lots of natural objects and

outdoor areas with different spaces appropriate for each age range.


Our daughter loves being at nursery and has made lots of friends and likes the staff very much!

All staff at the nursery are friendly, approachable and care for the children. I have children in different rooms and both children love attending nursery, they come home to tell us about what they have been doing. My older child moved to this nursery when he was 3, prior to this at his old nursery
he cried everyday going in and disliked going, we experienced the total opposite with Kiddie Caru which to me tells me all we need to know.

My daughter has been through pre-school at Kiddi Caru and my son has been through the baby room to the room below pre-school where he's currently at. Our experience has been brilliant with both children. My daughter still asks to come to pick-up so she can see the staff and gives them all hugs. The
support the staff (huuge shout out to a particular staff member) gave our daughter was extraordinary - she was on an unusual journey where she could read early and the staff gave her the extra support she needed to encourage her love of books and reading, as well as supporting her with her social skills. My son struggled at first with drop-offs but staff supported him with the transition (another big shout out to Wade here) and he started to look forward to going. The pictures we are sent on the app show him enjoying himself with a wide variety of activities and with friends and at the end of the day it's SO nice to see all the staff genuinely in good spirits playing and chatting with the children.

My son is always happy to go and has a good group of friends. He always talks about the grown ups and think they have a really good team.
They did have a period of staff turnover but think that seemed to be the case in all nurseries in the area.
The staff are always approachable and reactive if there
are any issues.
Their food is cooked onsite by a great kitchen team, can't fault the food.

Unfortunately, over the last few months, the standard of care provided by Burgess Hill Kiddi Caru nursery for my children has significantly declined. Previously, they offered excellent nursing services for my kids, but since then, there has been a noticeable decline in service quality due to staff turnover
and new management.
Today, I was extremely disappointed when I picked up my daughter and discovered that she had not been provided with the raincoat we had provided, leaving her exposed to the pouring rain in just a wool coat for an unknown duration. Her hair was drenched, and the tights she was wearing were soaked through.
When I brought this to the attention of the nursery manager, I was disheartened to receive no apology.

Communication with the nursery is very good through the app.
My child is settled and has a fun day.
Staff report his mood and emotional well-being in equal importance to what he has done or learnt, which is important to me.
My child can struggle with changes and is better able to cope if pre-advised.
He had some time when his key worker had changed his working day, and we weren’t made aware until we asked. Once we could prepare him, he settled again. So better communication on this would have helped.
I’ve advised the nursery of some free training which would benefit staff caring for my child, but I’m unsure if this has been taken forward.

My daughter is truly happy and cheerful there. The staff are nice and I am thankful for the class head for her, she is very helpful and welcoming to her. Also, there is another lovely woman!
And the manager is very cooperative and helpful.

Our son has been attending Kiddi Caru for just over a year now and he has really grown in confidence since attending. New skills, his speech, development, social interactions have all come on leaps and bounds and this is all credit to the team who have looked after him over the last year in Geese room.
The
team have really embraced our son and really show sincerity and compassion for him and get as excited as we do when he does something new or the simple day to day things that others would probably take for granted. His key person in particular has been fantastic, coming up with new ideas for him, really encouraging him as his development soared and gave him those all important cuddles when he asked for them or when he needed them.
He has now moved to the next room and we will miss seeing the team in Geese terribly, but we feel confident he will enjoy this next phase on his journey at nursery. Thank you to all the team at Kiddi Caru.

I’ve always chosen larger nurseries for my children with dedicated rooms for age groups and large outdoor spaces - Kiddi Caru caters to this. The opening hours suit my job and the team are brilliant. My youngest son has been here since he was 7 months old (now 2 years 3 months) and he’s thrived. Lots
of age-appropriate activities, nutritious meals and outdoor play.
The nursery, management and HQ are aware of my issues - and it’s the issue of consistent staffing. It is no reflection on the day-to-day staff, but they simply do not have enough permanent staff. Regular agency workers which is unsettling for my son who needs consistency (and always cries at drop off anyway) and we are often asked to forfeit our space which we can’t usually do.
That said, I’ve been in contact with the regional manager who has outlined steps being taken to improve this so I feel confident that this is being addressed.

I have rated my experience with the nursery as 'good' because I feel there are areas of improvement, like care and staff management, which seems to be a big issue since my daughter started nursery last year. I am sure this is not a day-to-day care staff issue but more likely a managerial one, which
hopefully will be sorted out soon. Despite these, my daughter settled well once started nursery, with great support and affection from the care staff, easing the whole process. My daughter is always happy and keen to join her friends and teachers at nursery, and we can see constant changes in her learning and social abilities since joining the team.

Our son has been at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery since September 2022. We have watched our boy go from a nervous and shy eleven month old into an outgoing, happy toddler. There have been times where he has been unsettled moving through the rooms, but these issues have been handled professionally by the manager
and the team with a positive attitude always putting our son first and looking at how he can have the best experience during his time at Kiddi Caru. Photos, videos and updates we are given show him happy, enjoying his time with the biggest smile on his face. He is so excited each day we say he is going to nursery and he loves all the team who look after him. Any nerves we have had about him going to nursery have been eased and we feel confident he will continue to thrive over the years before he goes to school.

The nursery is good and the staff I interact with are all friendly and competent but it seems like for months and months and months now they’ve struggled with staffing levels and continual staff attrition. There must be an issue at the core of the nursery for this many staff to be leaving (salary, working
conditions, staff morale, who knows?). It is hard for young children to deal with constant change, they need stability at his age more than any. The pressure on the remaining staff makes it feel like they don’t have time to do their job properly. The updates on the tapestry are now few and far between, and contributions to events such as world book day seem minimal. The pressure as a parent to be contacted every week begging to not send their child in due to staff shortages is waring. Once a permanent staffing resolution is found I’m sure the nursery will be good again.

My daughter is always well cared for and had a wonderful connection with the staff there.
She’s learnt to eat a varied menu despite being in a fussy eating stage when she joined and takes part in a diverse set of activities. We particularly like how she gets outdoors frequently.

All of the staff involved with my son go above and beyond for him. He has global development delay and sensory issues. They have been very supportive, finding out what his needs are and adapting to them. My son has progressed a lot since being there and I can not rate the staff enough.

My son has been at Kiddi Caru Burgess Hill since he was 9 months old and he is now 3. He has had a few challenges with his speech and the staff have been instrumental in helping him develop this and get up to speed with his peers. He always has a great time at nursery. My highest compliment though must
go to the manager she has always been incredibly responsive and accommodating, especially with my husband and I working jobs where we are regularly on call. She has always managed to find a space in nursery if we need to send our son for an extra day and is always so pleasant to speak to and willing to help wherever she can.

Although I couldn’t fault the staff at Kiddi Karu, they are clearly understaffed and overworked. For what is already a very expensive service for parents to pay in general, I feel that there isn’t enough front-of-house/management for the nursery, and the childminders take the brunt of disappointed parents.
The day-to-day activities and food sound amazing, and I can’t write a bad thing about the boys’ experience with the staff in Flamingo, as they’re always eager to go and the staff are so friendly and helpful!
My main concern is the fact that I’ve been asked several times this year to pick up my kids early, when my work and hours do not allow for it. Luckily, once asked, I’m not asked again for some time.
It’s not a staff issue but more a higher-management issue, and I actually feel sorry for the day-to-day staff of Kiddi-Karu.
