A Step Ahead are excellent and lead by an excellent manager. You have a team that are caring, kind and enthusiastic. My kids love going to this nursery and we feel confident that they are well looked after, very easy to recommend them.

I could not recommend A Step Ahead more highly, the staff are so passionate and enthusiastic about what they do. My twins are absolutely thriving and love going to nursery. They can't wait to tell their nursery teachers what they've been doing at home and have built great relationships with them. They amaze me each week with the things they are learning. They don't start school until next September but are more than ready.

I would recommend this nursery to everyone. The staff are so kind and caring. Both my children have been to the nursery - one of them started at seven months old and stayed until he went to school and the other one is still there. My children have always been so happy there and because it is fairly small you feel that your child is personally cared for rather than being one of many. I feel very lucky to have such an amazing nursery close to my house.

My daughter started nursery after lockdown. The progress in her development on all levels has been amazing. She is more confident in herself, friendly with her peers and willing to give anything a go. I am certain this is down to the wonderfully caring and nurturing staff at A Step Ahead. They show a genuine interest in my child, her likes and dislikes and always take time to listen to what’s gone on at home and equally how her day has been at nursery. Academically she is excelling and for her age, she seems well on track. With the support of the nursery team, she is now fully potty trained at 2.5 years. Aside from all the above and many other lovely things I could list about this nursery and the brilliant ladies who work there, without a doubt the most important thing is that my child absolutely loves going in every day. She has the best time and is happy and safe.

My daughter started going to A Step Ahead nursery in January 2020, she absolutely loves it. I have never seen her get excited about something before like she does when we drive into the car park on a nursery morning. The team are lovely and I have seen such a development in my little girl since starting there. I would love to see a little more observations on what my little girl gets up to on a day to day basis on the app.

A Step Ahead are brilliant, they almost felt like an extended family. The staff will do anything to ensure the children and parents are happy, they went above and beyond. Both of my daughters attended there for many years and thrived in their environment. This was even more noticeable as they only attended one day a week and they were the only nursery who would accommodate my erratic shift pattern. Words can not thank them enough. I would absolutely recommend this nursery.

My son was fortunate enough to attend A Step Ahead Nursery in Lower Beeding. When searching for a suitable nursery for him having moved to Horsham last year, I was impressed to learn of their outstanding Ofsted records spanning several years. We were immediately taken in by the warm and friendly welcome by the manager at the time, and her team on our first visit, and continued to be amazed by the nursery teeming with life. The staff really went above and beyond to care for our son. We felt completely at ease that we were leaving him in safe hands and he always had such fun there. From science experiments to outdoor fun, to art-making and learning numbers and letters, this nursery and staff cannot be faulted for the superb care they provided and we are so grateful to them for preparing him so well for big school this September. We highly recommend A Step Ahead Nursery and their fantastic team.

My daughter has been attending A Step Ahead since the beginning of September 2020 and has settled in really well. She looks forward to going in the mornings and when collecting her, she is full of excitement and enthusiasm telling me about her day. She is thriving, and I am very delighted to see an advancement in her all-important social skills in such a short amount of time. The nursery was recommended by a previous attendee’s parent and we have not been disappointed. The staff are so friendly and engaging and nothing is too much trouble.

My son started at Step Ahead Lower Beeding in November 2019. I honestly can’t rate them highly enough. From the moment we went to visit I had a great feeling about the place. He had a few sessions to settle in before he started and I could tell he was happy and at ease straight away. Since starting his speech has come on incredibly. He knows all his colours and he’s not even two. The staff are always warm and welcoming and come to talk to us and tell us about his day. We get wonderful pictures of him on Parents Zone so we can see what he’s been up to. He loves the food there and settles to sleep really well. He’s been going to the nursery two days a week for almost a year and I can’t fault a single thing. The staff keep us up to date. The way they have kept parents informed during the coronavirus has been amazing. My son loves going and is always so happy there. The nativity last year was the highlight of our Christmas. They really do go above and beyond.

I know she will be sad to leave when the time comes for big school.

My daughter has flourished at A Step Ahead and really come into her own since returning after lockdown. There is a fantastic array of activities for the children to participate in and the garden and outside areas are particularly fun. She is becoming more confident and independent and her social development is wonderful to watch. She is the second of my two children to go to the nursery and the carers have all been inspirational and always interested and invested in my children's' development. At dropoff, she is welcomed with smiles and at pick up, we are given a lowdown on the fun they have had and what they have eaten. Like another review, my daughter eats better at nursery than at home (not for lack of trying!). The sensory activities and water and messy play are particular favourites along with playing in the wendy houses with her friends. I think it's a brilliant nursery and it feels like an extension of the family! I shall miss it when she heads off for her next adventure.

They coped with Covid really well and have safety measures in place whilst keeping the children actively involved in their usual fun activities.

My granddaughter went to A Step Ahead Nursery for about a year and a half up until the Coronavirus lockdown. She started school two weeks ago where she settled immediately and is learning unbelievably fast due mainly to the preparation of the amazing ladies in the Caterpillar room at Lower Beeding. There's a wonderful mix of free play, creative play and learning. Handovers are very thorough. I heard about every minute of her day. All the staff are extremely well trained and competent in their jobs, even the apprentices who have excellent role models. The kitchen offers a delicious menu of international dishes and also has no problem with dealing with dietary issues, my granddaughter is lactose intolerant. I'm completely convinced my daughter chose the right nursery and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other people.

We arrived last year new to the country and area. A step ahead has been so helpful and understanding with all our needs as a new family with 2 young girls. The team is amazing, loving and caring. My eldest just started reception and they have been great with preparing her for it even during the trying times we are in (covid19). Our little girls who still attends loves it. From the food to playtime and being outside. The nursery has adapted well to making us all feel safe and comfortable. Thank you so much. All of the best for years to come.

Fast forward two years and it is the best decision we made. The staff are all so fantastic. They are warm, kind, understanding and trustworthy and the values of the environment shine through in our daughter. She has a lot of allergies which have been dealt with excellently, adapting meals so that there is no missing out from what the other children are having. Our daughter is thriving with lots of friends and can’t wait to leave us every morning to run through the doors. A place I cannot recommend highly enough.

Our daughter started going to A Step Ahead when she was six months old (she's now just over 2), and she loves it. The staff are highly experienced and provide buckets of feedback which is essential for a first time mum. My daughter is thriving in a well-structured environment. Her grandparents regularly comment about how impressed they are with how her physical development as well as her speech and troubleshooting/puzzle building. One of the many reasons why we choose A Step Ahead is because they have an on-site chef who prepares the children's meals from scratch, which is vital to us as we want our child to be as healthy as possible. Recently the nursery has helped us with her potty training. The staff were brilliant, providing regular feedback and praise for how well she was doing. I can't recommend A Step Ahead enough and look forward to them helping with the development of my daughter through to when she goes to school.

My daughter has attended A Step Ahead - Lower Beeding since she was 7 months old. I can not recommend the nursery and their caring staff enough. As a mother, leaving your baby in the care of someone else is terrifying; however, the entire process was seamless and I was completely reassured by the warm-hearted nature of all the staff looking after my daughter. She has always arrived excited to see everyone, and on collection, she is always smiling and appears to have had a lovely day. Her development has excelled my expectations and I put this down to the array of activities the children do throughout the day. The staff are very flexible and where possible, have followed my daughters daily feed/nap routine. The nursery is kept in a clean manner and the children can enjoy a lovely garden all year round, something as an outdoor family is important to us.

Our son joined this nursery for the first time at the beginning of September and he has been thriving ever since. We are very pleased with the level of support we received from the staff, communication has been excellent in person, on email and through the Parent Zone app - we love seeing photos of him during the day. Also, we have had a preference towards a vegan diet which the onsite chef has turned into a lovely experience - nothing seems to be too much trouble. There is ample parking which makes drop off's and pick up's an easy task. It's so lovely watching him being happy about going into nursery every morning, we could not thank everyone enough. We are pleased to have got a space here and would recommend the nursery without hesitation.
