At Little Pioneers Chichester they make parents a partner as they know you're the most important person in your child's life. They have regular parent/carer forums, so you can learn all about upcoming events and activities and provide valuable feedback too.

They have an app, ParentZone, which keeps parents/carers updated about their little ones day at nursery, from photos of their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress! They also have 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to make their own decisions to expressing their feelings.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They also hold the prestigious Green Flag Status Award (the highest possible), which is an internationally recognised award for a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

They are big on happy children as they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and a focus on looking after each other and the world.

I have two children who have attended nursery here starting from 2014 and the nursery has been consistent throughout this time. They are very caring and nurturing to the children and not once have my boys complained or been upset to attend nursery. We have an app which the staff add to each session
with photos and communications daily. The children do a large variety of activities from baking, painting, playing with different textures and getting messy which I fully endorse. Pre Covid-19 they would have educational fun visits from the police or fire service and petting zoo. When the children reach preschool they do very well in preparing the children for school. I work at a hospital and so the nursery opening times that are 6:45am-18:30pm is a massive pro with my early and late shifts. I rate this nursery highly and I recommend it to all my friends.

Our daughter started at Co-Op Childcare Chichester back in January this year at the age of one and we were really apprehensive as to how she would take to it, having spent the majority of her life in lockdown. The nursery’s approach to her settle in days was amazing, despite the restrictions in place
at the time and she seemed to take to the changes exceptionally well. She was paired with an absolutely wonderful set of staff in the Ladybird room who clearly adore children. Her speech and understanding of the world around her has come on leaps and bounds since starting at the nursery which I think is down to the personalised approach taken with each child’s development, encouraging them to explore the things that interest them the most. It fills my heart with joy to see my daughter excitedly waiting at the door of the nursery with her happy little face pressed up at the glass keen to get in there and start having fun. We can’t thank you enough guys.

My son is currently attending this nursery and he absolutely loves it. He skips in the door in the morning without even saying goodbye to me, he talks about nursery on most days he's off, telling me things he's been doing with his friends. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are
always so friendly, welcoming and most importantly my son loves them. I'm so, so pleased we moved him here last year.

Co-op Childcare Chichester nursery has looked after our little boy since he was eleven months old. They have provided a caring and nurturing environment. The food is excellent, evidenced by report cards stating all eaten. The workers in his class clearly enjoy spending time with him and he loves spending

Both my daughters now attend this nursery. They are both really enjoying it there and I can tell this by how happy they are when we pick them up and by seeing photographs of their day on the app. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff and they are always there to talk to in person or via email,
so communication is great. Being from a background in Early Years teaching I always worried that I wouldn’t think anywhere is good enough but we are both very happy that our girls go to this nursery!

Our son has been with this nursery since he was eight months old, he is now over three years old and he has learnt and blossomed so much in that time. I believe the nursery is a massive part of this. The staff are amazing, friendly and caring. Although they have lots of children to look after they still
manage to meet my sons individual needs and make us feel special. The managers are brilliant and always seem to have time to try and help you no matter the circumstance. I have recommended many friends to this nursery and I will continue to do so.

My daughter has the most wonderful teachers and we absolutely love the nursery as a whole, the staff are so lovely and welcoming. One member of staff in preschool is just the loveliest person and my daughter absolutely loves her. We know we can call at any time to discuss issues at the time of worry.

My child has been attending this nursery since she was 1, she is now 3 years 9 months.
They are a caring nursery that have always taken care of my child, who is a sensitive and shy person. They have helped her discover her confidence in play and relationships outside of her immediate family.
They
have always acted on feedback we've given and provided an open opportunity for communication about our child's care and wellbeing.
Their approach to a healthy diet gives us reassurance that our child eats well and often when in their care.
The impact of Covid and our child's absence from pre-school for 2 months was acutely felt by both us and our child. When she was able to return to pre-school in June, the impact on our child's mental health, happiness and contentment in life was immediately apparent.
Pre-school is a vital part of our child's life. She performs a happy dance when she sees her keyworker walking towards the entrance to collect her for the day.

Our little boy has just started nursery at Chichester Co-op nursery. He has settled extremely well considering he has been in isolation for the last seven months due to COVID-19 and had separation anxiety from us. The staff have been amazing and so helpful in getting him settled in. All the staff are
so friendly and treat our son as an individual and cater to his specific needs. They are caring and attentive and I highly recommend this nursery. Really happy so far and my little one comes out every day so happy and seems to really enjoy his time there.

Our son has been going to this nursery for over two years now. We have always been extremely pleased with the care given to him and the feedback at the end of the day is always reassuring. The nursery reply to queries very quickly and are always extremely helpful and accommodating in all circumstances.
Our son has formed great relationships with the staff over the years and particularly in his current pre-school room. He comes out happy and excited to talk about his day. We would thoroughly recommend this nursery to our friends and can’t wait for our daughter to start next year.

Both our boys attend this nursery and they absolutely love it. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The boys are treated as individuals and often the staff in the rooms set up activities specifically designed around their interests. Our eldest comes home happily chatting about what he has done
that day (the youngest can't talk yet but he is always happy and smiling when we collect him). The children have lots of time outside which the boys love and the food choices are great too. We couldn't ask for a better environment for our children to grow and learn away from us. This team has childcare down to fine art and we are extremely lucky to have them guiding and caring for our children. They are amazing.

The staff are very friendly. They treat my child like an individual. I always get feedback on how my child has eaten at meal/snack times and how she has been in her session. They engage in a wide range of activities. The staff are very accommodating to parent's wishes for their children r.e learning,
potty training etc while at nursery. Communication is key as well as my child's happiness and I feel both are at an excellent standard.

An excellent Nursery from all aspects. The staff are all warm and friendly. The children are always involved in creative play and spend lots of time outdoors. Food all prepared on site and my kids appear to love it as often have seconds! Would recommend highly.

This is an excellent nursery, I have sent both my children here and wouldn’t send them anywhere else. All the staff are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to make sure the children and parents are happy.
The rooms and gardens are extremely well equipped with so many choices of activities
for the children to do. I really can’t rate this nursery enough it’s brilliant.

Our daughters (3 and 2) started at the Co-operative nursery in September. We have been blown away by the care that they received! The staff have been amazing in helping the girls settle in. They’ve gone above and beyond to make sure that they are both happy and content throughout their days.
Unfortunately,
our youngest daughter has a rare and severely complex heart defect and we questioned if she would ever be able to go to nursery with her sister. The staff and managers have provided outstanding and personalised care for her following meetings with different professionals. They’ve been pump trained as she is PEG fed and have made many adaptions (including her own beanbag!) to make sure that they cater for her extra needs. We couldn’t ask for anything more for our girls and we are absolutely grateful to all of the staff who constantly go the extra mile . Thank you Co-operative Nursery.

Co-operative has been like an extended family for my two boys, they’re so loving!
Also, my oldest has just started school and he is so much more advanced with his numbers and abilities, they are great at getting little ones prepared for starting school!
They’re also so flexible! I love this nursery

We searched for a long time for a nursery for our shy 3-year-old daughter this time last year. We visited several in the Chichester area and although many were probably sufficient we were not wowed until we met the team at The Co-operative Nursery. We had some settling in sessions with our daughter
who, on a personal level found the transition very challenging from being at home to three days a week in a totally new environment. However, the staff made us feel totally accepted, there was never a problem and we felt fully comfortable leaving our little one in their hands for the allocated days. The management team and staff at The Co-Operative genuinely care and nothing is ever too much trouble. In 12 months our daughter has gone from crying when we left her to looking forward to her next day at nursery. It is amazing how the staff seem to enjoy their work even though I imagine it must be very challenging for them too. We cannot ever thank the team enough for the support, care and commitment given!
