Our daughter has been at the nursery since she was 1 and absolutely loves it, she is now 3 and at the preschool. Our daughter is always excited to go to preschool and receives the best care from the staff. The food is delicious, a great variety and all home-cooked. We are excited for our son to start at the nursery in June.
My twins go to the Co-op Childcare Chichester and have been going since September, it is the best change I could have asked for from their old nursery. They’re thriving and so, so happy. They actually cry on non nursery days and ask “why can’t it be a nursery day mummy?”. It breaks my heart that I can’t afford to send them more often but they absolutely enjoy every second of it. Through their experience they have tried new foods, formed new friendships and learnt new things. The staff have been attentive and have been amazing managing one of my children’s behaviour, they have gone out of their way to make sure their time there is important and to prepare them for school. In September we will miss the nursery and only wish we’d discovered it sooner. Massive thank you to their key worker who sadly left but was taken over by another amazing one. I feel so happy leaving them in her capable hands. The staff are caring and have a loving approach to my kids and that’s all I could ask for.
Both my daughters have attended the nursery from ten months to four years and I have been delighted with how they have supported the growth of both of them. Everyone is very kind, thoughtful and I feel the key workers are an extension to my daughters family. In preschool they have supported the girls in preparing them for the transition to school. The hours the nursery offer are great for work and offer great flexibility. The food choices are great with food made fresh on site and all the children know the chef by name. Each day a range of activities are available and at home my youngest always talks about her day at the nursery. I will be sad to say our last goodbye!
I have two children who have attended nursery here starting from 2014 and the nursery has been consistent throughout this time. They are very caring and nurturing to the children and not once have my boys complained or been upset to attend nursery. We have an app which the staff add to each session with photos and communications daily. The children do a large variety of activities from baking, painting, playing with different textures and getting messy which I fully endorse. Pre Covid-19 they would have educational fun visits from the police or fire service and petting zoo. When the children reach preschool they do very well in preparing the children for school. I work at a hospital and so the nursery opening times that are 6:45am-18:30pm is a massive pro with my early and late shifts. I rate this nursery highly and I recommend it to all my friends.
Our daughter started at Co-Op Childcare Chichester back in January this year at the age of one and we were really apprehensive as to how she would take to it, having spent the majority of her life in lockdown. The nursery’s approach to her settle in days was amazing, despite the restrictions in place at the time and she seemed to take to the changes exceptionally well. She was paired with an absolutely wonderful set of staff in the Ladybird room who clearly adore children. Her speech and understanding of the world around her has come on leaps and bounds since starting at the nursery which I think is down to the personalised approach taken with each child’s development, encouraging them to explore the things that interest them the most. It fills my heart with joy to see my daughter excitedly waiting at the door of the nursery with her happy little face pressed up at the glass keen to get in there and start having fun. We can’t thank you enough guys.
My son is currently attending this nursery and he absolutely loves it. He skips in the door in the morning without even saying goodbye to me, he talks about nursery on most days he's off, telling me things he's been doing with his friends. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are always so friendly, welcoming and most importantly my son loves them. I'm so, so pleased we moved him here last year.
Co-op Childcare Chichester nursery has looked after our little boy since he was eleven months old. They have provided a caring and nurturing environment. The food is excellent, evidenced by report cards stating all eaten. The workers in his class clearly enjoy spending time with him and he loves spending the day with them too.
Both my daughters now attend this nursery. They are both really enjoying it there and I can tell this by how happy they are when we pick them up and by seeing photographs of their day on the app. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff and they are always there to talk to in person or via email, so communication is great. Being from a background in Early Years teaching I always worried that I wouldn’t think anywhere is good enough but we are both very happy that our girls go to this nursery!
Our son has been with this nursery since he was eight months old, he is now over three years old and he has learnt and blossomed so much in that time. I believe the nursery is a massive part of this. The staff are amazing, friendly and caring. Although they have lots of children to look after they still manage to meet my sons individual needs and make us feel special. The managers are brilliant and always seem to have time to try and help you no matter the circumstance. I have recommended many friends to this nursery and I will continue to do so.
My daughter has the most wonderful teachers and we absolutely love the nursery as a whole, the staff are so lovely and welcoming. One member of staff in preschool is just the loveliest person and my daughter absolutely loves her. We know we can call at any time to discuss issues at the time of worry. Very pleased overall. Thank you so much.
They are a caring nursery that have always taken care of my child, who is a sensitive and shy person. They have helped her discover her confidence in play and relationships outside of her immediate family.
They have always acted on feedback we've given and provided an open opportunity for communication about our child's care and wellbeing.
Their approach to a healthy diet gives us reassurance that our child eats well and often when in their care.
The impact of Covid and our child's absence from pre-school for 2 months was acutely felt by both us and our child. When she was able to return to pre-school in June, the impact on our child's mental health, happiness and contentment in life was immediately apparent.
Pre-school is a vital part of our child's life. She performs a happy dance when she sees her keyworker walking towards the entrance to collect her for the day.
My son loves nursery - everyone is lovely and he's settled in well. Lots of fun every day. Great communication. They provide everything so there are no hidden extras. I'm very happy with his care. His keyworker knows him so well and that was important to me.
Our little boy has just started nursery at Chichester Co-op nursery. He has settled extremely well considering he has been in isolation for the last seven months due to COVID-19 and had separation anxiety from us. The staff have been amazing and so helpful in getting him settled in. All the staff are so friendly and treat our son as an individual and cater to his specific needs. They are caring and attentive and I highly recommend this nursery. Really happy so far and my little one comes out every day so happy and seems to really enjoy his time there.
Our son has been going to this nursery for over two years now. We have always been extremely pleased with the care given to him and the feedback at the end of the day is always reassuring. The nursery reply to queries very quickly and are always extremely helpful and accommodating in all circumstances. Our son has formed great relationships with the staff over the years and particularly in his current pre-school room. He comes out happy and excited to talk about his day. We would thoroughly recommend this nursery to our friends and can’t wait for our daughter to start next year.
Both our boys attend this nursery and they absolutely love it. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The boys are treated as individuals and often the staff in the rooms set up activities specifically designed around their interests. Our eldest comes home happily chatting about what he has done that day (the youngest can't talk yet but he is always happy and smiling when we collect him). The children have lots of time outside which the boys love and the food choices are great too. We couldn't ask for a better environment for our children to grow and learn away from us. This team has childcare down to fine art and we are extremely lucky to have them guiding and caring for our children. They are amazing.
Wonderful staff and set up, my child always has a smile when we arrive and talks about the day and friends on pick up.
The staff are very friendly. They treat my child like an individual. I always get feedback on how my child has eaten at meal/snack times and how she has been in her session. They engage in a wide range of activities. The staff are very accommodating to parent's wishes for their children r.e learning, potty training etc while at nursery. Communication is key as well as my child's happiness and I feel both are at an excellent standard.
An excellent Nursery from all aspects. The staff are all warm and friendly. The children are always involved in creative play and spend lots of time outdoors. Food all prepared on site and my kids appear to love it as often have seconds! Would recommend highly.
The rooms and gardens are extremely well equipped with so many choices of activities for the children to do. I really can’t rate this nursery enough it’s brilliant.
Unfortunately, our youngest daughter has a rare and severely complex heart defect and we questioned if she would ever be able to go to nursery with her sister. The staff and managers have provided outstanding and personalised care for her following meetings with different professionals. They’ve been pump trained as she is PEG fed and have made many adaptions (including her own beanbag!) to make sure that they cater for her extra needs. We couldn’t ask for anything more for our girls and we are absolutely grateful to all of the staff who constantly go the extra mile . Thank you Co-operative Nursery.
