My son joined this nursery in October 2020 (age 18 months) and our experience so far has been pretty good. My son loves going to the nursery, enjoys his time there and comes back happy every day. He has learnt so much while at the nursery including speaking his first words and his communication has developed so much after going to this nursery. The staff at the nursery is very communicative, open and provides as much information as possible during the handovers. I am especially impressed with the management of the nursery with communications and flexibility. It's good to know that our son is in safe hands at this nursery and makes us very reassured and confident about his time there. Definitely recommend it to parents of young kids. Thank you.

Three staff members are great room leaders and appreciate all their guidance and care for my son. He starts school in September and we will massively miss this team. Thank you.

Our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter moved from another nursery to be closer to the local school. We have been so impressed with the induction process, communication via the app regarding food and activities, the range of daily activities and things to do and the wonderful staff in general. She is so happy and asks to go on her non-nursery days. In terms of practical things, they offer flexibility in hours with early starts that coincide with the local school's breakfast clubs. We have been so happy with our experiences and would 100% recommend it.

My 11-month-old son started at Young Sussex two weeks ago and I have been so pleased with how well he's settled. The staff have gone above and beyond to make sure he's comforted and he's had lots of cuddles whilst he finds his feet. When I collect him he's smiling and gives big smiles at all the staff as we leave. He's very comfortable in the space and has been napping brilliantly. I've been so encouraged by how well he's got into the swing of things. The staff are so caring and considerate and you get a really thorough update on collection and throughout the day. The children in the room all seem happy and content and it's a lovely atmosphere. I can't recommend Young Sussex highly enough. Management have been really supportive, welcoming and straightforward to deal with which is wonderful. They've taken a lot of the stress out of this new transition for us as a family.

Young Sussex have been brilliant with our child, who started in autumn 2022. The staff are very caring, supportive and interested, and the facilities are great. We couldn't have asked for a better start to our child's nursery care.

My daughter attended Young Sussex Hove and I cannot stress enough how excellent all of the staff is. My little one created an excellent bond with all of her teachers and I could definitely see on a daily basis how much her skills improved by attending nursery. All of the teachers are extremely knowledgeable and caring. Plus they ensure to keep parents always updated on the child's development and milestones. I would recommend Young Sussex Hove to any parent who is looking for outstanding care of their children.

I've been very impressed with the communication and also the flexibility the nursery offers. Everyone has been so helpful - it's been such a brilliant experience for us all.

Young Sussex is an amazing nursery! My daughter started there when she was two, and she is off to reception in September. Every single staff member is professional and caring, and the management team are very efficient! My daughter has speech and language difficulties, and the nursery has done so much to help her develop; she has come along so much in every way not just her speech. Even throughout Covid, they did so well to quickly adapt to restrictions. I can't recommend Young Sussex enough! Thank you for everything you have done for my little one!

The office is very quick to respond and has always been flexible and understanding with our freelance jobs and needing to swap sessions. Would definitely recommend this nursery, and I have looked at quite a few in the local area.

Both my boys go to Young Sussex (Ladybirds & Bumblebees) and love it. The staff are so lovely and caring. The management are also so great at being accommodating to changes. Overall we would highly recommend it.

Both my daughters started this September at Young Sussex. My 2-year-old struggled in the beginning due to COViD and not really attending any baby groups or similar settings. However, the staff at Young Sussex were so lovely and patient; they’ve helped her settle really nicely, and she loves going now. She loves all the staff there and talks a lot about them. My one-year-old smiles the minute we walk through the gate! I highly recommend; they take amazing care of the children and communicate verbally at pick up, which is lovely. All their staff are lovely and very welcoming.

Our son has recently graduated from Young Sussex Hove, having joined the nursery originally when he was 11-months-old. We can't praise the nursery or its' staff enough. Our son blossomed under their care and has sailed into primary with no issues whatsoever. The care and attention he received were second to none, and the bonds established with his teachers will stay with him for a long time. The pre-school, in particular, is exemplary and ensures that even younger children are more than ready to transition to primary school. We have been nothing but pleased with Young Sussex, and the fact that we have also chosen to send our second child there, despite now not living especially close, says it all. Would highly recommend this nursery to all!

My son started here in the toddlers' room after the abrupt closure of his previous nursery. He was only in this room a few months before lockdown but settled well and enjoyed it. Most of his time was spent in the pre-school room and what a wonderful job they did helping him grow into the confident little man who just joined school! The amazing staff did a fantastic job - even during the stop-start of lockdown, giving our family a sense of normality when everything else was crazy! The activities arranged were varied, the staff fun and caring and my son thoroughly enjoyed his time here. I would highly recommend it.

My little one is attending here since last year and she'll finish in 2 weeks time now, to start the big school! We don't have enough words to explain how much she liked the time she spent at Young Sussex and how comfortable and secure we were too. They helped her in so many different steps and the communication between nursery and us was amazing! The only thing we regret is we didn't start bringing her here before. The exceptional people, ambient, help. Absolutely everything is perfect and I don't hesitate to recommend it, it's a shame they don't have school too!

We have been so impressed with the staff at Young Sussex. They have given our little boy a wonderful start in education. They are kind and caring and build great relationships with the children. It has been impressive to see how proactive they are in supporting children. The communication on a daily basis is superb, along with a regularly updated learning journey. Activities, from what we saw, are well planned and fun with some really wonderful experiences. I must also add that the office staff are really helpful and communicate very well. I have never waited long for a reply to my queries. All in all, we can't imagine a better preschool experience for our little boy.

I have been really impressed with the warm welcome my daughter has received since starting at Young Sussex Nursery. She has settled really quickly and enjoys her time at Nursery. Staff are caring, friendly and professional. The observations of her learning and development, show me that she is receiving a wonderful broad range of learning opportunities and she always comes home with lots of stories about the fun she has had with her new friends. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Nursery to others and am really happy that we chose to send my daughter to Young Sussex.

The additional COVID-19 related restrictions make some aspects of nursery life a little more tricky. For example, not being able to properly go into the nursery at drop off and pick up and not seeing the other children’s names above pegs so not being able to ask about them (she only remembers one friend’s name). But considering all the challenges the staff have had to overcome these are very small details.
