My kids both attended this nursery and always have something positive to say when they talk about the nursery nurses and the time they spend at nursery. They started attending the nursery when they were 1 (twins) and now they are 3 going to 4 and starting school this year. They have learnt a lot at nursery and have made great friends there. Not even 1 day have I heard them say anything bad and they are so vocal and would say it as it is at this stage. Thank you Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery it takes a community to raise a child and thank you for helping me raise my babies.

From the moment I walked into Bluebell Hill, myself and my son who was 10 months loved it. The homely feel and the friendly staff were amazing from day 1. He's now going to school in September and I could not fault the girls who have encouraged my son with every aspect of life. Thank you everyone.

I was so apprehensive about my little one starting nursery as he is my pride and joy, however all of the staff at Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery made me feel so happy and at ease about leaving him in their care.
I feel as though they always go the extra mile in everything they do, which is extremely reassuring as a first time mum!
Management were fantastic at answering all of my questions and making the process as smooth as possible!

I couldn't recommend Bluebell Hill enough!

Staff take great care of the children and they always pass on information on collection. Great communication and really care about the children. They play games and interact with the children focussing on their development, be it physical development or social interactions. Great feedback and regular updates.

My daughter has been at Bluebell Hill since I returned to work from maternity leave - 3 years ago! She has always been very well looked after and enjoys her time there. I looked at so many nurseries, the thought of leaving my baby with strangers was awful, but Bluebell had a family feel to it which was why I chose it and I haven’t been disappointed. My daughter feels loved and has developed really well. She enjoys going to nursery and has made lots of friends. All the staff are amazing, full of enthusiasm and they know all the children individually. I can’t recommend this nursery enough.

My eldest daughter came to this nursery five years ago, I thought it was a lovely nursery with very nice staff. Any help needed just ask the office, my daughter settled in very quickly and we were all made to feel very welcome. My daughter enjoys all the activities here and loves everything in the gardens. My daughter also enjoys learning French, so overall we would recommend this nursery.

My son has recently started at Bluebell Hill nursery. We were given the opportunity to have lots of taster sessions so I could settle him in. He seems to be really enjoying it and loves playing in the garden outside. The staff are kind and understanding and the manager is very sweet. Suffering from anxiety isn’t easy but the colleagues are always insisting on calling in if I ever need to and they always put my mind at ease. Overall his experience so far has been lovely and I’m sure it will only get better. Thank you to all the staff who are working hard to make sure it’s a fun, safe atmosphere.

Our daughter really enjoys going to nursery. Many aspects of her behaviour have improved along with her communication skills since she began attending. The staff are caring, considerate and encouraging towards our daughter and they all know her by her name. Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery has proved to be a great stepping-stone in preparation for her starting school. I would highly recommend parents to consider this nursery for their children.

I am very impressed with the care my son receives at Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery. Our son has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and the high level of support he has received has enabled him to develop further than we could have imagined. We only hope he will receive a similar level of support when he starts school so this can continue.

I moved my son to Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery as my son was very unsettled at his old nursery. Well, he has come on so much in the last 6 months. He is learning social skills, speech, behaviour and general well-being. My partner and I are so pleased with his progress.

The staff are warm and friendly, they listen when I have concerns, they help when I am not sure, they get on well with my child and understand his needs. I am very happy leaving my child in their care!

The nursery manager always takes the time to say 'Hello', is friendly, approachable and will always have the time to talk back to me if I need to chat with her about something.
Staff within the rooms are welcoming and will always comfort my children if upset.

The nursery is always looking to create an environment to stimulate and engage the children by developing role play concerns and buying new toys and equipment.

Both my children currently attend Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery. Both of them very much enjoy their time there, feel confident and secure and have flourished under their care. We have been blessed with key workers who genuinely care and are interested in my children and provided the best possible care. Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery has been accommodating to our individual needs and has done all they can to fit around our personal family needs. Management has always been efficient and friendly and runs the nursery well. Children have a thriving, warm and stimulating environment to learn and play.

The fabulous team at Bluebell Hill have been wonderful whilst my son has been settling in over the last eight weeks.
They have got to know him as an individual and have paid particularly good attention to helping us both with our separation anxiety. They are energetic and confident practitioners, who clearly enjoy their roles.

As a family we couldn't be happier with the care and attention they have shown our son and we look forward to him enjoying his future at the nursery.

I have worked with children for the last 6 years and have been at Bluebell Hill for nearly 4 years now. I started as relief staff whilst completing my degree in early years education, and have since enjoyed progressing in my career and constantly building on my knowledge of the early years. I love being able to teach and inspire children every day, and mentoring staff in giving children the best possible experiences whilst at nursery.

I am also the nursery SENDco and am passionate about ensuring inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, working closely with families and children to ensure every child gets the best possible outcomes from their time with us!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking my two dogs and going to the gym!

Lauren Smith

Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve been working in the Early Years for almost twenty years now. From the moment I left school, I knew I wanted to work with children, helping them learn, grow and develop. With a strong passion for learning environments for children, I’ve spent a considerable amount of time studying the Reggio Emilia philosophy, as well as the Montessori philosophy. I’ve worked in a variety of roles in the early years, including educator, SENCO, and additional adult for SEN children, as well as having previous experience as a Deputy Manager. I believe community is at the heart of a nursery school, as it takes a village to raise a child and building strong relationships with children and parents is the way to strengthen that community. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two children.

Harriet Crouch Job Title: Group Operations Manager Joined: 2021

Harriet is our fantastic Operations Manager. Harriet has over 16 years of experience working in the Early Years. Harriet joined the Bluebell family as the Nursery Manager of Bluebell Wood and now as the Operations Manager, Harriet oversees the running of all three of our fabulous nurseries.
