Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery

Bluebell Hill is a wonderful nursery. My little boy settled in very quickly at 11 months old. He very happily goes in each morning to the lovely ladies who work there. He gets opportunities for plenty of outdoor play, arts and crafts and indoor playtime. The food is varied and nutritious and he comes home having had three full meals. Parents are updated via the app so you can see what has been eaten, nappy changes, how much sleep has been had and photos. Bluebell Hill goes above and beyond to recognise and celebrate occasions throughout the year: parties for Halloween and Christmas, craft weekends, Red Nose Day celebrations, an Easter bonnet competition etc. There’s always something fun going on. Another great thing is how so much is included in the price. Unlike other nurseries, Bluebell Hill provides food, drink/milk/formula and nappies, meaning the only thing I need to send in is spare clothing. I highly recommend this nursery; we think it’s great!

My 2-year-old boy was delighted at the nursery and really enjoyed being with the staff there. When he was off from the nursery, he would often ask me to take him back to the nursery and keep asking some of the staff.

Bluebell Hill is an outstanding provider of childcare in my opinion. They go above and beyond in their care, communication and consideration towards your child. My son arrived as a nervous toddler. The patience, kindness and understanding he has been shown has led to his development into a confident, cheeky and very chatty little boy! Taking care of a room full of little ones is an exhausting job and each practitioner gives their energy, time and compassion every day. They report bumps or accidents professionally, they give a breakdown of your little one’s day upon collection, which always includes details that demonstrate they really ‘see’ your child as an individual. They do their best to make sure each child is well-fed, rested and stimulated throughout the day. There are always a variety of learning activities available and the outdoor areas are so well utilised. Bluebell Hill really is a lovely space and you feel the positive energy as soon as you arrive.

My daughter loves it here and I highly recommend this nursery.

The staff are good, they inform me every time about my son's day at the nursery. I like that they have a lot of fun activities for the children. And my son is very happy going to nursery. He likes his teachers and he has a lovely bond with them.

I genuinely could not recommend a nursery enough, knowing that he is safe, happy and cared for just the same as he is at home is all we could have asked for.

I was originally let down by a local nursery and at short notice had to find somewhere else for my son to go. Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery were quick to help and within 24 hours his place was secured and my mind was at ease. My son has always been really happy at Bluebell Hill, right from settling in sessions to now, he always comes home with a smile on his face. The staff are always smiling, patient, welcoming and there to talk about development or any concerns. Almost every day we receive pictures and development updates via the app which is lovely to see whilst at work. They also do all they can to support the families as well as the children. Very happy and highly recommend!

My son has been here for 8 months and is thriving! He loves every day that he has here. Great food and supportive staff. Updated daily with pictures/videos daily. Always helpful recommendations to support his development further, wouldn't pick anywhere else!

Friendly, communicative, fun and professional staff. We were impressed on our first visit and, more than 6 months since our son started with them, we are delighted we chose Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery for his daycare.

My little girl has been going to Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery since she was 1 year old and she absolutely loves it. It is such an amazing nursery, all the staff are so friendly, caring and brilliant with her too she is always happy going into nursery. The activities are brilliant with so much choice and they are now doing beach days too. Myself and my husband can't thank the nursery and staff for everything they do for her. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery, definitely the best nursery.

Amazing place and staff! They have made it so easy for my little boy to settle in after having a bad experience with a previous nursery. All the girls and managers are lovely and always happy to help and listen! Just wish we would found this place sooner! Huge thank you to each of the girls. It's such a relief for a parent to know that their child is well looked after and happy! Your hard work means a lot to us!

My son (3.5 years old) has been attending Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery for around 6 months now and he loved it from the moment he walked in. The staff were so welcoming and he's never been happier. He's learned so much since the day he started and I'm very happy with his progress. I love the fact they send regular updates of his daily life in nursery.

My little girl was a lockdown baby and was very anxious of being away from her family. Bluebell Hill Children's Nursery have been amazing and I have seen my daughter grow and grow in confidence. I'm very grateful for all their hard work.

My son absolutely loves this nursery and the staff. He never cries going in but is always so happy to see me when I collect him. He loves their outdoor space as well as the indoor space. He loves the food they provide, and they are really supportive of the formula you give at home by going out of the way to make sure they have it for him at nursery. I would recommend this nursery to anyone! The reason I have chosen four stars is that my son does two full days, but I am lucky to have an observation about what he has been up to every other week. He has had six observations in the 14 weeks of being there. I know a lot of other nurseries do a minimum of one a week, so was a bit disappointed about this.

As I'm sure other parents can agree, sending your children to nursery for the first time is a very daunting and worrying period of parenthood. Personally, I put myself down as a worrier, doubled by sending both my children within two months of each other, I was anxious, to say the least. Within weeks of my girls joining, the worry all faded away. The staff at Bluebell Hill are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have grown to form great relationships with staff in the baby room and also the preschool room, not forgetting the office staff. The care and passion the staff members show when caring for our children is every parents' dream. The premises are always tidy and well taken care of. The food is of high quality and the activities you can tell have had heart and soul put in when preparing/organising. I have two very happy girls after their sessions. What more could I ask for?

My son was 1 year and 9 months when he started at Bluebell Hill in October for just two and half days a week, I was worried as I never had him away from me for more than 2 hours, but he got to love the nursery so quick, and now he is going in with a big smile. The staff are so friendly, helpful and caring, and my boy loves them so much. I get updates throughout the day to see how is he doing, what he is eating, and info about his nappy changes and sleep. He is usually quite shy, but I can definitely see the difference in his personality and even trying to say words, also he has learned quite a few dances. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and I'm so grateful we have chosen Bluebell Hill.

My daughter has just started at Bluebell Hill after attending another local setting for one year. I had a great feeling when I viewed the nursery initially and the application process and settling-in sessions have been straightforward. All the staff are lovely and my daughter has settled so well so quickly! I love how I can see updates throughout her session about food intake, toileting and sleep etc. I really couldn't fault them and I'm so glad I went with Bluebell Hill to care for my baby. My daughter started Bluebell Hill 3 months ago and her little personality has really come out since being there. She is always so happy to go in the morning and absolutely loves her key worker. The staff at Bluebell Hill are amazing and always helpful if you have any queries. I love the variety of food my daughter gets and it's always really healthy. Highly recommended it!
