Welcome to Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool. In this vibrant and supportive environment, the team is committed to providing exceptional care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Recognising the importance of these formative years, they focus on laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and development. Conveniently located off the A217 with ample parking, within walking distance of Banstead High Street, and featuring a buggy park, the nursery is perfectly situated for both local and commuting families.

The age-specific rooms offer a stellar start to education through the Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by Early Years experts. This comprehensive and individualised approach supports each child's well-being, growth, and advancement, whether they are transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

At the nursery the children can enjoy the spacious free-flow garden, which includes a nature trail and forest area. From playing in the mud kitchen to experimenting with sand and water, there is always a new adventure awaiting them outdoors.

As children engage in these activities, parents can stay informed via the Family app. Available to all Bright Horizons parents, this app provides updates on daily experiences and progress.

Settling-in Sessions tailored to meet individual family needs are also offered. For more information, parents are encouraged to contact the nursery manager.

My son loves coming to nursery. He is currently in preschool room and the transition was made very easy and calm. Since being in preschool he is learning lots and comes home with new knowledge. The Manager makes sure all my questions are answered to the full and makes nursery run smoothly. The food
provided is balanced and full of nutrients as well as being hearty meals. The girls in the room make sure it is run to the highest standard and provide constant reassurance.

We have been bringing our kids to this nursery for many years and are really happy with it. The kids have developed great relationships with their key workers and the other staff. The kids get the opportunity to do various activities and the nursery makes an effort to do activities for special days
and cultural festivals. My son developed phonetic reading skills, numeracy and writing skills in pre-school, so he was well-placed to move on to school.

All the staff have always been friendly and caring towards my daughter and our family. She has health needs which all the staff have supported really well. The staff are all so friendly and provide care for the children. The facilities are lovely with a huge outdoor area for the children to get fresh air and burn off some energy. Any issues that have arisen have all been dealt with in an exceptional manner and staff have gone over and above to resolve

My daughter is given every opportunity to grow and develop with support from all the staff. All the staff are welcoming and very supportive whether they work directly with her or not. She always comes home happy and excited, ready to tell or show us what she has learnt.

Wishing Willow is an exemplary nursery and I am proud that my son is a part of it. The staff here show genuine love and care, have an immense amount of patience and are very mindful of every child's individual needs. My son started here in April 2017 and this was his first time being away from me. Even though he is such a shy lad, he settled in very quickly. The staff have been so kind and gentle with him. In a matter of weeks, he moved on from crying, to eagerly getting ready on his nursery days. I love the fact

The nursery is superb! My child enjoys going to the nursery very much. he bonded with the staff very easily and there has never been any fussing or crying when dropping him at the nursery in the mornings. When I come to pick him up he's always happy playing with the other children or the staff.
All the staff are very friendly, know my child by name and clearly, everyone at the nursery cares very much about all kids. My child's key person is the loveliest, most caring person ever that clearly has a great relationship with my child, as is evident by all the cuddles they share.

I joined the team in October 2013. I began my journey in the 2-3’s Room and gained my Level 3 in Child Care and Education in 2015. I am now proud to manage the team at Banstead and look forward to welcoming you to our nursery.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

My name is Amba and I am the Deputy Manager at Banstead. I joined the company in June 2021 at the Epsom Branch as Third in Charge and was working on the Pre-School floor as well as supporting in the office. I transferred to Banstead in August 2022. Before I joined Bright Horizons I worked at a nursery where I started back in 2013 as an apprentice and worked my way up to Third in Charge. During this time, I completed my level 2 and 3 qualifications in childcare and level 3 in Leadership and Management. I most recently completed a Foundation Degree in Early Years and then progressed to complete a BA in Education Studies. I am looking forward to joining the team here at Banstead and meeting all the families.
