Welcome to Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool. In this vibrant and supportive environment, the team is committed to providing exceptional care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Recognising the importance of these formative years, they focus on laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and development. Conveniently located off the A217 with ample parking, within walking distance of Banstead High Street, and featuring a buggy park, the nursery is perfectly situated for both local and commuting families.

The age-specific rooms offer a stellar start to education through the Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by Early Years experts. This comprehensive and individualised approach supports each child's well-being, growth, and advancement, whether they are transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

At the nursery the children can enjoy the spacious free-flow garden, which includes a nature trail and forest area. From playing in the mud kitchen to experimenting with sand and water, there is always a new adventure awaiting them outdoors.

As children engage in these activities, parents can stay informed via the Family app. Available to all Bright Horizons parents, this app provides updates on daily experiences and progress.

Our daughter attended the nursery from when she was one until she went to school and now our son is also here and we have been very happy with the level of care for them both. The staff are all lovely, management team who know their stuff and have put in some good new ideas for the nursery. There is
a real close-knit team working together here and both our children have loved coming to nursery each day. The food is especially excellent as our children can confirm.

All staff at Wishing Willows Nursery in Banstead are very professional and the care they have provided for my two and half year old is outstanding. My child loves going to nursery and enjoys all the different activities that they do from learning her numbers, ABC, to baking, painting and reading stories.
To be able to leave your child somewhere knowing that she is well looked after and cared for puts my mind and ease and that is down to the great staff they have working for them. I would also like to confirm that it is not just the current class she has enjoyed but every room she has been in they have contributed to her learning and development.

My 2-year-old son goes to this nursery and I am very well pleased with all the service. Staff is always happy to help and smiling. Professionalism is quite a key to this nursery. My daughter has been with the nursery for nearly 2 years. The girls are fantastic, there’s a fun atmosphere whenever I enter the classroom and management have always helped out if I’ve ever needed extra hours for work reasons. There’s always lots of activities happening and my little girl has made many
friends. I’d definitely recommend Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool. They supply a varied diet for the children at meal times and the core team are super! I never worry once I leave my daughter in class, I know she is being well looked after.

My son has attended the nursery since he was 10 months old. When he first joined, the team were very understanding of this being an emotional time for our family and did all they could to reassure us and make our son feel welcome.
He is now 2 and absolutely loves going to nursery, has made friends
and has formed good bonds with the staff in all the classes he has been in.
I truly feel that my son gets a great deal out of attending nursery and it compliments the learning and development that he receives at home well. He received lots of stimulation and enjoys a wide range of activities. I would definitely recommend Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery.

From the moment I stepped through the door, met the manager and felt the warm welcoming atmosphere, I knew it was where I wanted my son to attend nursery.
He started in the baby room and it was not easy for me to let go but the staff made me feel comfortable and happy to leave him in their care.
Every
step of the way I felt informed and that my son was getting the best care possible. From the nutritious food and activities to the cuddles provided, when my son felt one was needed.
Banstead nursery seems to go out of their way to accommodate you and your needs. When my son was off dairy the chef made him dairy free versions so he wouldn’t feel left out.
We were sad to leave when we left the area but on his last day, all of his friends and the staff had made him a beautiful card so he could remember his lovely time there.
Couldn’t fault this nursery or it’s staff. The perfect home from home for my little one.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

My name is Amba and I am the Deputy Manager at Banstead. I joined the company in June 2021 at the Epsom Branch as Third in Charge and was working on the Pre-School floor as well as supporting in the office. I transferred to Banstead in August 2022. Before I joined Bright Horizons I worked at a nursery where I started back in 2013 as an apprentice and worked my way up to Third in Charge. During this time, I completed my level 2 and 3 qualifications in childcare and level 3 in Leadership and Management. I most recently completed a Foundation Degree in Early Years and then progressed to complete a BA in Education Studies. I am looking forward to joining the team here at Banstead and meeting all the families.
