Welcome to Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool. In this vibrant and supportive environment, the team is committed to providing exceptional care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Recognising the importance of these formative years, they focus on laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and development. Conveniently located off the A217 with ample parking, within walking distance of Banstead High Street, and featuring a buggy park, the nursery is perfectly situated for both local and commuting families.

The age-specific rooms offer a stellar start to education through the Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by Early Years experts. This comprehensive and individualised approach supports each child's well-being, growth, and advancement, whether they are transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

At the nursery the children can enjoy the spacious free-flow garden, which includes a nature trail and forest area. From playing in the mud kitchen to experimenting with sand and water, there is always a new adventure awaiting them outdoors.

As children engage in these activities, parents can stay informed via the Family app. Available to all Bright Horizons parents, this app provides updates on daily experiences and progress.

Settling-in Sessions tailored to meet individual family needs are also offered. For more information, parents are encouraged to contact the nursery manager.

Really good nursery, the staff are amazing, and their app keeps everything updated, which is really helpful to see your child growing.
My son really likes going to nursery and always talks about nursery and his friends.

Both of my children have attended Bright Horizons in Banstead and both have thrived and enjoyed being at the nursery. They put on a huge range of activities for the children and we get to see photos and updates each day. The staff are friendly and form real bonds with both the children and the parents.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery!

I couldn’t be happier with Bright Horizons Banstead. My eldest son has attended for just over a year in the nursery and absolutely loves it. He will be joining the Preschool soon and my youngest will be joining the nursery which I know he will also love.
The staff are extremely accommodating, nurturing,
kind and helpful.
I also find the live app fantastic. I would struggle to find anything negatives.

My son joined the nursery at the age of 9 months, unable to sit unaided and refusing solid foods. Within weeks of joining, the nursery, his key worker in Tulips had him eating solids and sitting up.
He has reached milestone after milestone and has been continuously encouraged by the staff.
The feedback
on his learning has been both reassuring and comforting. The facilities are always clean and my baby is always collected at the end of the day looking really happy.
Fast forward 6 months and he is one very happy, fast-moving toddler.
I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Yes! The fees are eye-watering but you cannot put a price on your baby's health and happiness at all!

As a first-time mother, Bright Horizons Banstead has more than put my mind at ease when choosing a nursery to care for my child. They have given me and my husband the confidence to trust in the care provided, and we are grateful for the support we have received. The app is brilliant for keeping us in
touch with our little one’s time at nursery, letting us know what was eaten, the activities done each day, and how long our child slept. In all, a brilliant experience for all of our family!

Our daughter has been attending Banstead Bright Horizons since she turned 2. Our friends and family recommended this nursery and we couldn't be more pleased. She is thriving and learning more and more each day. The activities they do are always fun and the staff always ensure that photos are taken
so us parents can see them on the app which is super easy to use. All staff are always so pleasant and always say hello to my daughter and know her name even if she isn't in their particular room. Overall we are very impressed and would recommend Banstead Bright Horizons.

From the very first settling session, my child’s carers have been absolutely outstanding. They immediately created such a close bond and as parents, we felt very assured in knowing we can put our complete trust in them to take care of our daughter.
The consistency of updates in the app has been phenomenal.
As first-time parents, having those pictures and an outline every day, including schedule and food, really helped us to settle into this new chapter of life. It’s not easy handing the responsibility of your child over to another person, but we were put at ease from the start.
Observations are always so informative and wonderful to see. Loads of content is captured and shared with us all day. We are always given the time of day to chat about how our daughter is doing, any concerns we have or any questions we need answered.
Overall, an amazing nursery!

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons for just over two years now and absolutely loves it. The staff are so friendly and she has built lovely relationships with them. She has learnt so much since being there and her confidence has really grown. I would definitely recommend Bright Horizons.

I can't recommend this nursery enough. Both my boys attend, one having additional needs, and I am so happy with the service provided.
Both my boys are catered for, and all of us have such great relationships with the staff.
The manager is really accommodating also.

Staff go above and beyond. They organize great educational and fun activities for the kids. They always do their best to meet kids' and parents' needs. Plus they are all just lovely, friendly people! Never had a bad experience!

Bright Horizons at Banstead has been a wonderful nursery for both my children. They always have a full and active day and staff members are genuinely invested in helping the kids develop and learn. Both of my children have made great progress with confidence since attending. The staff are friendly and
have been really supportive during some difficult personal times for the kids. The kids are always happy when I drop them off and collect them and really seem to enjoy their days at nursery. The app used by the nursery provides lovely updates and photos so you know what the kids have been up to during the day. Would recommend!

My daughter started at Bright Horizons in January 2023 and we’ve had nothing short of a fantastic experience so far. I found the prospect of her going to nursery quite daunting however I knew from the first visit, this was the place for her!
The joining process was simple and the team were always on
hand to answer any questions.
Since starting, my daughter has flourished. Her days are varied and the team do a great job in providing a stimulating environment where children learn and develop. There are themed weeks, each and every week and they are brilliant!
I’m kept up to date throughout the day, on the app. Observations and photos, which I love receiving!
The team in my daughter's room (and other staff I’ve met) are friendly, welcoming and always available to talk at pick up.
The menu is great (fresh and healthy) and changes frequently - my daughter loves trying new foods and always clears her plate!
I’d highly recommend to anyone considering Bright Horizons.

Really friendly, professional and supportive staff.
Our little girl has developed hugely since joining Bright Horizons. The activities they do are focused on fun whilst learning. Staff are so friendly and really supportive. They do their job with such passion and care.

We are extremely happy with the nursery. The staff are very caring, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our son enjoys coming in and they always do many activities to keep him busy and learning. We receive regular updates throughout the day which is very comforting and nice to see.

We are so pleased that we chose Bright Horizons, Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool for our child. She enjoys every single moment and her development has come on in leaps and bounds. I joined the team in October 2013. I began my journey in the 2-3’s Room and gained my Level 3 in Child Care and Education in 2015. I am now proud to manage the team at Banstead and look forward to welcoming you to our nursery.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

My name is Amba and I am the Deputy Manager at Banstead. I joined the company in June 2021 at the Epsom Branch as Third in Charge and was working on the Pre-School floor as well as supporting in the office. I transferred to Banstead in August 2022. Before I joined Bright Horizons I worked at a nursery where I started back in 2013 as an apprentice and worked my way up to Third in Charge. During this time, I completed my level 2 and 3 qualifications in childcare and level 3 in Leadership and Management. I most recently completed a Foundation Degree in Early Years and then progressed to complete a BA in Education Studies. I am looking forward to joining the team here at Banstead and meeting all the families.
