Bright Horizons Teddies Woking Day Nursery and Preschool

Children at Teddies come out very well trained for the big step of their lives. The staff at Teddies are very good at teaching/learning children the most important things in life. Thank you for everything that Teddies staff have done.

Nursery has got all these facilities to take care and educate kids. All the staff members are friendly. I am happy with overall development of my kid. Definitely one of the best nurseries around Woking.

Our son has attended Bright Horizons Teddies Woking Day Nursery and Preschool since he was 9 months old, he is now 3 years old. As such he has been in the baby room, little learners and now pre-school. His time in each room has been exceptional. The care provided has been excellent and the nursery has helped his development very well so he has always met his milestones.

The staff are friendly and approachable and clearly care about the children they look after. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

My child enjoys the school and happily relates his days to us at home. Overall I am very satisfied with the school and feel that his behaviour and wellbeing is positively influenced by his carers. Less staff turnover would be nice, as would visits with local care homes to expose the children to people of all ages.

The overall experience has been very good. Both children are developing at a very pleasing rate.

My son was very timid when he joined Teddies, but over the last two years, his learning curve is really good. He is more active since he joined nursery and socialises himself well. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Overall, very pleased with the nursery. Great staff who make a big effort to get to know children and their needs. Full days of fun and learning. Both children absolutely love it!

My son feels safe because of good security to get into nursery. He loves the staff. He keeps talking about the staff at home. He roleplays his day at nursery at home and pretends to be the staff. He enjoys playing with his friends. I know he is really happy at nursery.

I am very happy with this nursery. We used it in the past as well for our daughter. The reason we had to go to a different nursery is because we moved house, but now we are back in the area we are happy to place our daughter back in.

I already noticed an improvement in my daughter's behaviour and language.

Both of my children have attended Teddies ad we have been happy with the care they have received. The staff are friendly and helpful and always looking for ways to improve the nursery.

Both our boys have had very positive experiences from attending Teddies from the age of twelve months up to school age. The childcare staff are excellent and there are certain long-serving staff members who have been adored by both my sons. Staff are responsive to the individual needs of my sons.

The recent refurbishment has really brightened up the large light rooms.

When my eldest son was in his last few months in pre-school prior to starting school, I did feel activities could have been made slightly more challenging to help him get ready for school and stop him getting bored. I do appreciate this is difficult with the pre-school children's ages spanning two years.

Additional ad-hoc days are extremely expensive.

We have not had any reason to consider alternative childcare in nearly 5 years.

A great nursery where my daughter has been very happy since she started there at 18months old (she leaves this month to go to school). The staff are the nursery's biggest asset and are really caring. The big rooms and garden are all positives. We all feel at home there.

However, it's a shame staff turnover is so high. The admin/management is the weak point and we have considered moving to another nursery because of this. Communications are poor quality and bill payment is a monthly issue. Simple steps could improve the management - parent relationship. However, the childcare staff compensates for this.

- Get more bikes in the garden.

A very positive experience. Building and facilities a little tired but more than compensated for by excellent staff - unfailingly kind to my son over the last 3 years. Would and have recommended to others.

Our eldest daughter began Teddies a year ago and she absolutely loves it at nursery. Her eating has really improved and she has made lots of friends and grown so much in terms of development and self-confidence. The staff are really lovely, calm and so warm and friendly. always approach the children as individuals.

Suggestion: sometimes looks a bit overcrowded. If that can be reduced a bit it's really good.

My son being an only son, it's thanks to this organisation for me to see them interact with other children and that is very special for me. Thank you for organising this.

I was very impressed with Teddies Nurseries from the first day of being shown around and continue to be impressed so much so that I am also sending my second child there. The staff are great, friendly and you genuinely feel safe that the kids are well looked after. From management through to the chef there's almost a family feel of everyone doing their best. Looking after children is a tough job and I've great respect for the team especially when there is so much paperwork. It's great that the food is cooked fresh onsite with a wide variety on the menu and that the kids have a good outdoor space to run around.
