Teddies Woking Day Nursery is designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
Set in a welcoming refurbished house, the light, airy nursery features a large garden with plenty of themed learning spaces. Babies have their own area while over-twos can enjoy the home corner complete with wooden playhouse, or explore the trees in a bug hunt. The lean-to guarantees fresh air even in rainy weather.
Baby and toddler rooms are vibrant and enriching, with sensory areas and play equipment to spark the imagination. Preschoolers benefit from an enriching Ready for School programme that gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

Teddies Woking understands the importance of family connection. Staff permitting, if there are siblings from different age groups in the nursery, they encourage bonding by bringing the siblings to play together.

We have had a great experience with Teddies, Woking. The staff have been fantastic and we have seen massive development leaps with our son. The app allows us to monitor progress weekly/ daily and our handover sessions always provide visibility on anything we need to know including funny stories. Although
more expensive, the nursery provides good value and unlike some are more understanding with illness. Great team, great experience. I would recommend.

Since joining the nursery, both of my children have settled in well. They are able to join in with a variety of activities during the day and staff keep me updated via the app with photos, where I can see they are clearly very happy and having fun. I receive a handover at the end of each day and know
I can discuss my children's development with their key workers. I am very pleased with the food on offer and can see via the app what my children have had to eat. The nursery is always clean and inviting, I know that the older children are encouraged to be independent and are encouraged to wash their hands to prevent germs. It has been lovely to see both my children settle and make friends as well as become confident in a new environment.

Teddies, Woking, is such a warm, welcoming nursery, which provides more than I could ask for. From my son's special moments shared at thorough handovers, daily, to the genuine care from the staff team. My son skips in every day and it is a struggle to get him to leave at the end of the day! The nursery
use an app, which is updated throughout the day, which as a mum, I love. I can see sleep times, meals, nappies and also, observations! We love Teddies, Woking and would recommend any parents their way, as a first-time mum leaving my son in childcare, I can't thank the staff enough for the reassurance and for allowing me to feel so comfortable.

I have two children at Bright Horizons Teddies and I have been really happy with the nursery. My oldest is going to school in September and he will really miss his key worker and the other members of staff in the pre-school room. He went through a stage where he didn't want to go into nursery (nothing
to do with the nursery, he just likes being at home) and the staff were all so supportive reassuring me that he was fine and happy at nursery and working with us to make drop-offs easy. He now goes in happily and waves goodbye. He is always full of nursery when I pick him up, singing songs he's learnt or telling me what activity they have been up to that day - lots to do with bugs recently!
My younger son has recently started in the baby room, the staff have been really nice helping us with the settling in period and he comes out happy, well-fed and messy - the sign of a good day! The managers are always really professional, kind and helpful and willing to work with us.

I had two daughters at this nursery, the big one from one to three and a half years old and the little one between eight to eleven months. Afterwards we relocated to EU so we had to leave. The nursery and the personnel is great. Very supportive during the learning process and capable to handle any situation.
They are exactly what a parent is looking for, they are reliable, flexible, professional and very skilled. Both kids found themselves very well, very quickly and they were doing a lot of activities both indoor and outdoor. The most important bit is how happy they were about their day when they came home. I definitely recommend this nursery, the management is great and the teachers are outstanding.

Our child is very happy at this nursery. For me, the most important part of childcare is the staff and we have found everyone we have met to genuinely care about the children. We were very impressed that the class made cakes on her birthday and we were given photos afterwards of our child to keep at
home. The garden is spacious, particularly for a town centre location and we're very happy that she gets time to play outside whenever possible. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since January and has grown in confidence since starting. The environment is always friendly and welcoming when arriving and staff are always willing to help in any way they can. They always give us a detailed hand over of what she has been up to for that day.
They have fantastic resources available to them on a daily basis and she is forever coming home with exciting stories of what she has achieved that day. She has made some fantastic friendships within her room and her learning and development has soared since attending. Me and the wife are blown away every weekend by the things that she comes out with. She really enjoys being outdoors and this nursery has a lovely outdoor environment.

Our experience at the Bright Horizons Teddies was great for us. The relationship with the teachers was very important. They are all professional and loving with the children. Our child was happy, motivated and encouraged. My child was very important to her teachers, not only at the nursery but also
at home and on holiday during the summer. The name of her key person was present when she was doing a drawing or learning something. My daughter and our whole family will bring this place to our hearts, which for us was like a second home. Thanks for everything.

My son and daughter have been at Bright Horizons Teddies Woking Day Nursery and Preschool for 3.5 and 2.5 years and I couldn't be happier with this nursery. Kind and patient staff work hard with children keeping them safe and happy. There are daily updates on how your children did and a review at any
time you wish. The management team are great and always updating on staff and updates to the nursery. The new refurb looks fab and my kids have loved the new outdoor space. The chef makes great meals every day fresh and shares the recipes which is always helpful. Great staff, great nursery!

Our son has attended Bright Horizons Teddies Woking Day Nursery and Preschool since he was 9 months old, he is now 3 years old. As such he has been in the baby room, little learners and now pre-school. His time in each room has been exceptional. The care provided has been excellent and the nursery has
helped his development very well so he has always met his milestones.


The staff are friendly and approachable and clearly care about the children they look after. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

My child enjoys the school and happily relates his days to us at home. Overall I am very satisfied with the school and feel that his behaviour and wellbeing is positively influenced by his carers. Less staff turnover would be nice, as would visits with local care homes to expose the children to people

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2004

I have been with Teddies Woking as a Nursery Manager since January 2004. I have previously worked at the nursery as the Room Leader of our Baby Room and then as Deputy Manager after joining the nursery in November 1998.

I am NNEB qualified and completed my training at Guildford College, gaining my qualification in 1991. Since qualifying I have worked in daycare and have enjoyed meeting many families and watching the children in my care grow and learn while developing my skills and progressing to my current role.

I have been here at Teddies since 2021 and joined as the deputy manager, since joining the team here at Teddies I have supported babies and toddlers. I am level 3 qualified in both childcare and management and I have worked in childcare for 11 years in a range of roles starting as a practitioner up to management.


Childcare is my passion and since becoming a parent myself this has only grown as I feel I can really connect to parents on a different level. I look forward to the future here at Teddies by watching the children learn and grow into their own individual personalities.
