Toad Hall Nursery Haslemere specialises in a caring environment for children to learn and develop in a positive manner, thanks to the efforts of skilled child carers, a wide range of equipment and resources, and targeted education goals.

The aim of Toad Hall nurseries is to work in partnership with parents to make sure children get the most from their early years, therefore preparing children well for the challenges of full-time education, while making sure all aspects of health and security are well protected.

Toad Hall Nursery Group deliver high quality childcare and they ensure the welfare of each and every child by providing a secure and safe environment where children are encouraged to be healthy and active learners. Fresh food is prepared daily and all meals are nutritionally balanced.

Highly qualified staff will enable all children to form secure attachments which ensure healthy emotional development and children are able to extend their learning in a calm and relaxed manner therefore preparing them for the life ahead.

I have been really happy with my child's care at Toadhall. They have been particularly good in supporting him with his food allergies and adapting recipes / meals as required. I have always felt he was safe eating here. He looks forward to going every day and often does not want to leave. Great space
inside for run around when wet. Great friendly staff team.

I often collect my Granddaughter from Toad Hall Nursery in Haslemere and would like to give my reasoning for the excellent feedback I've given.
Upon entering a clean environment you are always greeted by friendly face. The staff are extremely attentive and offer excellent support in the development
of a child’s education. My Granddaughter has excelled in her writing, spelling, pronunciation of words and mathematical aspects, many people comment on how advanced she is for her age
The Nursery offers excellent varied curricular activities and always keep you posted on events and your child’s progress. This includes both indoor and outdoor activities including football with a professionally qualified coach as well as good educational programmes.
The choice and quality of food that's carefully and healthily prepared by a Chef is outstanding.
Other Parents / Grandparents I have met there are extremely friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Toad Hall Nursery in Haslemere

We are very happy with the nursery. Our child loves her time there and is happy with the carers and toys/equipment available. Staff are friendly and know our child well. We are briefed well at the end of the day, however, the home/nursery book is no longer used.

As a first time mum they have been fantastic at putting my mind at ease and answering all the daft questions I have! Am very happy to have sent my daughter there. Going back to work was much easier knowing how happy she is. She smiles as soon as we get out of the car and sees the door!

My daughter has been attending Toad Hall since she was 8 months old. My daughter settled in really well and the staff helped this by helping the separating easy by distracting her and loving her. She has been full time and has loved every minute. The staff have been brilliant in each room she has been
in. The nursery is a really lovely building that is always bright and colourful with friendly staff members. The children always seem really happy and engaged in wonderful activities.


I have been working for Toad hall for 6 years as a team leader. I look forward to coming to nursery each day as it is such a fun environment to be in and take part in fun events.

We love bringing our child to Toad Hall Haslemere and he loves attending his morning sessions. We have noticed he is more confident than some other babies and feel this is down to his time at toad hall - interacting with other children and getting the attention he needs from the carers. We feel part
of the family here and know everyone from manager, deputy, carers and even chef are available to us whenever we need to speak about our son's wellbeing.

The nursery is very welcoming. Initially when my child started a communication book was completed to let us know all about his eating, nappies and activities which was really reassuring when he was very young. He loves coming to the nursery and enjoys the wide variety of activities he gets to engage

Both my children attend here and I am extremely happy with the care provided. The staff are amazing and the children love going there. They always come home with art work and creative things they have made. I always know my children have had a lovely healthy meal at nursery.

My little boy absolutely loves coming to this nursery. All the staff are amazing with the children and they all seem to care about the children, which as a parents is so nice to see. There appears to be a good structure to the day and have a good range of activities for the children to do, from cooking
to gardening.

We chose Toad Hall after looking at 4 different nurseries. The biggest difference was the genuine enthusiasm and energy of all of the staff which created a fun environment that our child could enjoy whilst learning. The facilities are great with a large central hall which is great when the weather
isn't good enough to go outside into their grass or Tarmac play spaces. Our child has made some great friends there whom she spends time with outside of nursery. Toad Hall provides endless creative, innovative and resourceful activities for the children which allows our child to keep on progressing, experimenting and learning new things. We have recommended Toad Hall to two of our friends who now have happy children here too.

I am extremely happy with the nursery my daughter has been here for three years. My son has just started nursery and has settled so well. The staff are always caring and give a very detailed handover about their day. The food served is amazing and my children love it. They do so many amazing activities
like creative play, let's get physical and the early language programme. They are always outside exploring in the garden and my son loves to eat the mud.
I have been the manager for nearly 10 years and would recommend the nursery to everyone.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2007

Hi, I'm Michelle, the Nursery Manager at Haslemere. For over 16 years, I've been immersed in the Early Years industry, commencing my journey at Toad Hall Nursery in 2007. Beginning as a qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse, I steadily progressed through various roles until attaining the position of Nursery Manager in 2024.


Throughout this journey, I've seized numerous opportunities to diversify my skills—I advanced to Level 4 qualification, assumed the role of DSL, and presently serve as the nursery SENCO.


I am passionate about creating a home-from-home environment and inspiring the nursery team to create exciting and engaging learning opportunities.
