Toad Hall Nursery Haslemere specialises in a caring environment for children to learn and develop in a positive manner, thanks to the efforts of skilled child carers, a wide range of equipment and resources, and targeted education goals.

The aim of Toad Hall nurseries is to work in partnership with parents to make sure children get the most from their early years, therefore preparing children well for the challenges of full-time education, while making sure all aspects of health and security are well protected.

Toad Hall Nursery Group deliver high quality childcare and they ensure the welfare of each and every child by providing a secure and safe environment where children are encouraged to be healthy and active learners. Fresh food is prepared daily and all meals are nutritionally balanced.

Highly qualified staff will enable all children to form secure attachments which ensure healthy emotional development and children are able to extend their learning in a calm and relaxed manner therefore preparing them for the life ahead.

Extremely happy with the care my son receives and the values of the nursery. He especially loves pyjama drama and we especially love the cooking facilities and activities available. Would recommend.

Can't rate Toad Hall high enough to anybody choosing a nursery in the area. My son has been very happy here, it's a brilliant set up with happy staff, great food and imaginative play. The staff are easy to talk to and I can go to work knowing he's having a great time in safe hands.

Brilliant staff very caring.
Food good but needs more veggies as sometimes too many carbs.
Great activities as well my son loves it especially garden and cooking.
Feels my son is in good hands he loves being here.

I cannot fault the nursery in any way my son has been coming since he was 4 months old and is now 3 and he absolutely loves it here, the facilities are fantastic and they also have some people who come and teach them football and music which is fantastic!

All staff are very engaging at all times and maintain a constant level of good care and professionalism.
The fact that when my son arrives in a bad mood and leaves full of smiles speaks volumes. Only down side would be staff turnaround but I realise this is a hazard of this working environment and
staff need to move along, but perhaps an incentive to entice them to stay would be good?

Very happy with the nursery . Child is happy and I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. I would like to see more outside activities when possible. The staff are really caring and I feel happy with the overall service

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2007

Hi, I'm Michelle, the Nursery Manager at Haslemere. For over 16 years, I've been immersed in the Early Years industry, commencing my journey at Toad Hall Nursery in 2007. Beginning as a qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse, I steadily progressed through various roles until attaining the position of Nursery Manager in 2024.


Throughout this journey, I've seized numerous opportunities to diversify my skills—I advanced to Level 4 qualification, assumed the role of DSL, and presently serve as the nursery SENCO.


I am passionate about creating a home-from-home environment and inspiring the nursery team to create exciting and engaging learning opportunities.
