Toad Hall Nursery Haslemere

My daughter started at Toad Hall aged 14 months and has loved every minute, she has been in 3 different classes now and she has developed so much. I can't fault it. The staff are so friendly and caring. Every day she comes home on a high and always walks in the nursery excited with no tears. They always do new activities like cooking, drawing, counting and now even French. They also spend a lot of time outside in the garden when the weather allows it. I am also very jealous of their meals! I would not hesitate in recommending Toad Hall, a great place!

Our little boy has been here since six months old and is now in pre-school. He thoroughly enjoys nursery and has a great imagination nurtured by all of the opportunities he gets at nursery. The staff are fantastic, this is the reason we chose the nursery. Through nursery he has done drama, sport and French clubs which we can’t take him to bring at work. He has done something different everyday.

I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough. The love and care that is provided is second to none. Thank you girls for the amazing work you do.

The nursery provides everything a child could need, and I know that I don't need to worry about anything when they are under nursery care.

My daughter came to Toadhall Nursery in Haslemere as her first nursery placement. She started full days at the age of 18 months old and thanks to the exemplary care provided by all the staff caring for my daughter, and the very professional and yet personal set up, my daughter was happy and flourished straight away.

Her speech has progressed, she has become a better sharer with other children, and she can focus for longer on games thanks to the active encouragement at Toadhall. On days at home she often talks about her time at the nursery and really looks forward to her nursery days. She also eats a wider variety of foods. I feel all of these changes do occur with natural development but the rate she has shown this progression has far surpassed my expectations. I believe this is as a result of her time here. Thank you all for your kindness and care and only circumstances beyond our control have meant we cannot keep our daughter at your nursery.

The food is of a high standard, as is the cleanliness of everything and having things like sunscreen and nappies etc. included it's so handy for busy parents.

I couldn't be more delighted with Toad Hall... all the staff are extremely friendly and it is a delight to see any of them, both at work and if we bump into each other out and about. My son has settled well there and he is always happy to see the lovely women in his class - Little Stars. They always provide a fun, exciting and welcoming space. I love the activities they do with him - and the whole place is beautiful. Teepee's, a garden, food cooked on site. When I first visited I felt so excited that for two days a week my son would be in such an inspirational environment and it has exceeded my expectations. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making it such a special place for our precious treasures.

The nursery environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and it is clear that the children’s safety and happiness is paramount to all staff. I cannot recommend Toad Hall highly enough, my daughter enjoys going each day and that really is such a reassuring feeling as a mother.

So pleased we found this wonderful nursery in the centre of Haslemere.

The staff are just outstanding, provide good daily feedback on what my little one has been up to, eaten if she has slept and nappies! They have such a varied and interesting daily routine (around standard meals and naps).

The outside area has recently been improved and the little ones go out daily.

The toilet facilities have also been improved so they are connected with the relevant rooms to help with potty training.

There are regular events for parents to attend including parents evening which are informative and a good formal (in an informal way!) way to catch up.

The food is outstanding and again varied.

Overall an excellent nursery that I wouldn’t hesitate recommending (and have done to numerous friends!)

We have been really pleased with the nursery from Day 1. Our son has never had a bad day and is always smiling when I collect him at the end of the day!

I can't recommend this place highly enough. We recently moved here from London although their excellent support and communication began before we even left and has continued comprehensively ever since.

My reserved almost 3 years old has settled in so quickly and loves the nursery and staff so much that home time is a battle since he doesn't want to leave. This place and staff have been instrumental in ensuring our little man continues to be happy and develop and grow in confidence. He's come on well already in the short time we've been here, in terms of energy, speech, confidence helped by all the support, discipline, stimulus, freshly prepared meals and lots of outdoor time.

Honestly, this place is wonderful and no two days are the same- a great find. I'm only sorry this website won't let me name all the individuals who've been so involved.

We have two children at Toad Hall - Haslemere (age 1 and 3) and we're really happy with it. The staff are lovely and incredibly caring, we are 100% confident that the children are being well looked after and having a great day while we're at work. The staff have made a big effort to get to know the children and their likes and dislikes and they seemed to have formed a really nice bond - there are SO many cuddles! There is a lovely community feeling around the nursery.

They do a wide range of activities - art, cooking, phonics, singing, playing in the garden, reading etc... The three-year-old is always coming home telling us about what he's been up to, what he had to eat that day, who he played with and so on. The one-year-old has really been thriving since she started a few months ago - she settled in really easily and has become a lot more confident and chatty.

Communication with the staff is really easy - they are always responsive and accommodating.

Toad Hall is a very well run nursery, with very friendly and caring staff. From early morning cuddles to comfort my son, to the informative end of day updates advising sleeping patterns, activities during the day (which are varied and engaging) and a general update on his development.

The staff are always happy and engaging, which is very noticeable as he cannot wait to jump out the car and start his day.

What I cannot work out is how they manage to get him to sleep for so long each day, as we haven't cracked this at the weekends !

I could not recommend the nursery enough. I hear stories from friends of some of their experiences with other nurseries and feel very lucky to have found Toad Hall in Haslemere.

We are extremely impressed with the nursery and the staff there. Everyone has been very welcoming and friendly. I think the rooms and toys at the nursery are lovely. I am also very impressed with the food that is supplied for the children. We would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

My son has settled well into the nursery life. It's a great feeling to know and see how content he is when there. Overall we are very happy with Toad Hall.

My daughter of two and son of three and a half walked into Toad Hall Haslemere and immediately felt at home. Staff are attentive, my son who is a fussy eater eats all of his food and my daughter, who is slightly feisty, is kept well occupied and always sleeps very well after school.

They do a great range of activities with the children and our little one happily goes to his carers who he's formed a lovely bond with. It's very reassuring that he's looked after so well.

I am very pleased that we chose Toad Hall. Our son has settled in very quickly and seems very happy which is all down to the lovely, friendly staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to others.

The staff are amazing! I always feel that my child is well looked after and enjoys the vast variety of activities. The meals are freshly prepared on site and they even gave me a recipe book to help me with the variety of meals.

I have 2 children at Toad Hall Nursery Haslemere. Both are really happy and settled. The staff are always happy and when I ask my son if he had a good time he always replies "Yes, I did playing and eating", what more could a 3-year-old want! The only thing I feel could be improved slightly is communication. Sometimes I don't find out about events until after they have happened.
