Knowle Green Day Nursery is a purpose built, spacious day nursery of the highest quality, with four main play areas and additional sleeping areas. The nursery has a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere, with a team of qualified and experienced practitioners providing a happy sociable environment where all children are treated as individuals. They have also obtained their Eco-schools Green Flag.

All age groups have access to individual enclosed garden areas which offer a wide range of activities and learning opportunities to help to promote children's social, emotional and physical development. There is also a large woodland area which all children are able to use for natural play.

Open from 7.00 to 6.30 and with a fully inclusive package, Knowle Green offers a comprehensive and convenient service to parents.

We are extremely happy with the care our son receives. He really enjoys the nursery. The staff are very kind and caring and really nurture and develop the children. He is really thriving in this environment.

We've sent both of our girls to Knowle Green and can honestly say we have loved the experience. The girls have attended every room from Caterpillars all the way up to Pre-School and each key worker has looked after the girls as their own.


The care Knowle Green takes to develop the children truly

stands out and each room has been designed carefully to engage and grow the children appropriately.


The girls also loved the school trips and always talk fondly of their adventures on the train to the theatre or green grocers! Thank you Knowle Green team - we won't hesitate to recommend you!

This is my daughter's last nursery experience and she has settled very well and is now very ready for school life. She has learnt many new skills in Math and can now write her name. Her interest in writing has greatly improved.

Knowle Green Childbase Nursery has been fantastic for our daughter. We are in our 4th room and the support and development have been excellent. The facilities are very good and the new and improved garden is lovely. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough.

So far I have been so impressed with the care my daughter has received. Everytime I leave the nursery I feel 100% comfortable that she ie looked after and safe. She loves her key worker and it makes me happy knowing she has someone there who she feels comfortable with. All the nursery workers/nurses
seem gentle and happy toward the children.

MY daughter started at the nursery a few months ago and loves it. From the girls in the rooms to the management and even the cooks, everyone is friendly, helpful and makes you feel welcome. The confidence my daughter has gained is incredible in such a short space of time, she is learning new things
daily.
I put 100% trust in leaving my daughter at Knowle Green, as I know she is in safe hands. It makes the drive from London to Staines worth it.
The only negative I can think of is, when my daughter does baking, I would quite like her to make me something too.
I couldn't recommend it enough.

Always receive a friendly welcome from all staff. Staff/management always go out of their way to assist/help with anything that is asked, always accommodating. When visiting the nursery, all children appear happy and content. Food choices are nice and varied. Need to ensure children are offered plenty
of water throughout day. The new online parent zone system is great- lovely to be able to keep regular track of your child. At times may need a slightly more detailed handover of your child's day when picked up. Overall very pleased with Knowle Green Day Nursery. Thank you.

Lovely people, professional, the nursery itself (building, grounds) is excellent. Overall very good nursery. I would recommend this nursery to friends and family. Improvement needed on - breakfast could use more variety, a lot of staff turnover lately, feel like the staff have a lot of paperwork etc
as sometimes busy doing that instead of engaging with the children.

Overall good service. We have had questions and given feedback and on a couple of occasions, the result of these questions had been slow. Workers are friendly. Don't like the fact that feedback forms have stopped.

My son really enjoys the nursery, engages well with the staff and children. Staff are really caring. Occasionally management updates (via letters) are not always in sync with our wishes for our son, e.g. approach and timings for room changes. Other than that we are happy with our son's learning and
emotional development.

Everything about the nursery is excellent. I love the fact the food is cooked in-house and is fresh. Every day is different. All the people who work there are excellent and unlike some nurseries there are males who work there as well as female staff. The facilities are very good. I can only say glowing

I have an excellent experience with this nursery. My daughter had been here for three years and the staff are like an extended family. She always talks about the staff and says she loves them. The atmosphere is relaxed although very professional with lots of activities and she is developing well. Overall

I have been using Knowle Green Day Nursery for my daughters since 2011. This nursery is out of my way because I don't live or work in Staines. The quality of care and the enjoyment my girls have makes the travel worth it. My daughter loves coming in and is progressing so well. I'd like to take this
opportunity to recognise my daughter's key worker, she is such a credit to the nursery and she is lucky to have her.

I have never had any doubts about leaving my daughter in the care of the staff here. They are 100% focused on the care and development of the children and my daughter always comes home happy and smiley. Her development has been fantastic and the range of activities is impressive. Chanelle Weaver

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2022

Chanelle is the Manager of the award-winning Knowle Green Day Nursery in Staines and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for over 20 years.


She has a Foundation degree in Early Childhood Studies, she also had training for the emotional well-being practitioner, behaviour management and SENDco.


Chanelle has recently started working at Childbase Partnership.


What is your favourite feature of Knowle Green?
The nursery has large outdoor environments individual to each room and a large woodland area to extend the outdoor learning following the woodland play programme.


What are you most proud of about your nursery?
The long-standing members of staff, with some working here for over 20 years are amazing.
