Knowle Green Day Nursey

Knowle Green Nursery in Staines is absolutely fantastic. I could not recommend it enough. The staff are excellent and operate to extremely high standards in all respects, from cleanliness to nutrition to early learning. They also have an in-depth knowledge of children and their development in that age group. The effort that goes into sensory play, reading, baking and everything else with the children is top-class. Our daughter was in the bumblebees room and knowing that you are handing your child to staff who love them and care for them like they are their own, takes away any anxiety you have as a parent. I loved the weekly newsletters to catch up with everything and the plan for the following week. The masterclasses provided for the parents were a welcomed addition. Our minds were always at ease knowing she was in such good care. It was very hard to say goodbye!

So, today is the end of an era! It’s my youngest daughter's last day at Knowle Green Day Nursery. My eldest started back in 2016 and even when she left I knew we’d be back and in 2021 we were! In the middle of a global pandemic the ladies at Knowle Green made my return to work easier, as I knew my daughter would be loved and well cared for. It was so reassuring to see so many faces we knew from our eldest’s time at Knowle Green. I can not thank all the staff enough for all the love and care they have shown our girls over the years. There were tears at drop off this morning from me and had I been doing pick up I know there would have been more! So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everything you have all done. You all played a massive part in our girls' lives and we will always remember you and be grateful for the amazing people you all are.

I have had both my children at Knowle Green since fifteen months old and they have loved going. They have learnt so much and made amazing friends. The staff are amazing and really engage with the children. The food is amazing and always prepared fresh onsite, so they get to try lots of different things. I’m so happy we chose Knowle Green for our children and will be sad to say 'bye' to the team as they move on to school. Thank you for being a big part of our kids' early years and for making sure they leave with so many happy memories.

The staff are polite and listen to parent concerns, support parents when needed and give advise to help the child. Always tell us how our child's day has been and tell us when our child is feeling unwell.

Our two grandsons have both been at this nursery and the care shown both to the boys and ourselves has been excellent. They are so caring and definitely go the extra mile. If I have any issues it would be the continuous change of staff which we find unsettling, too much change.

My son attends Knowle Green Day Nursery in Staines, but sadly he will be moving to Primary school this September. He has been attending since he was for 1 year old and the staff are welcoming, approachable, kind, friendly and caring. He has made great progress in his learning and the staff have been very supportive in his development. We receive regular feedback about how he has been doing. Staff have supported him in settling in, and he enjoys and loves it there as it is a fun and safe environment. He has made wonderful friendships and I am grateful, thankful and appreciative of all the staff for their hard work. Thanks Knowle Green - You have been amazing!

The outdoor space is very good and I know my daughter loves spending as much time as possible out there which is good for mind and body. There are plenty of activities available for even the busiest toddler. The fact that at pick up she's always mucky or in different clothes is a massive positive to me - I think a grubby toddler is a happy one!

The team at Knowle Green are incredible! Our son has flourished under their care and we are so happy that he is being moulded by people who really care about his development. Everyone goes the extra mile and seems to love doing what they do. We could not be happier!

Every key worker has treated our daughters with the upmost care. It is hard going back to work so quickly after having a baby, but Knowle Green have made the transition so much easier than it could be and I am eternally grateful for every member of staff from reception, to kitchen, to the room staff who work so hard to take care of our daughters. Thank you.

The team have taken extra care to ensure he has settled and he is happy and progressing at nursery.

We have been very happy since our child started at Knowle Green. The staff, both at the front desk and his room, are lovely and my child is happy. We have also seen lots of development. We can't fault it, especially the care and attention with my child's allergies.

We cannot recommend Knowle Green Nursery enough!

Great environment.

The combination of the classes has meant age is fairly wide in development which is sometimes difficult, but overall, very happy with level of care and education.

On the plus side, we loved doing the first aid care that was advertised in the newsletter.

Fantastic leadership from the top and staff that have been so committed to meeting my child’s needs! They will take time to listen and respond to my child’s needs.The preschool room leadership is outstanding always willing to go the extra mile for our child.

Overall my son loves coming to your nursery. The staff at reception and in his room (currently caterpillars) are always welcoming and friendly. It would be nice to see more updates and photos on the app. I'd also like his bib to be changed as he's very dribbly. He is currently transitioning rooms and this has been managed brilliantly. He's had lots of short sessions in the new room to get him used to moving. I do feel a separate room for them to nap in would be better than in the same room with so much going on.

He is learning new things everyday which he enjoys telling us about and the care he is given by the staff is outstanding.

Our son absolutely loves going to nursery. He looks forward to going and seeing his friends, loves the toys, equipment, activities and meals. The staff (both nursery room staff and administration) are fantastic, always on hand to help and most importantly are friendly, caring and warm. The location is extremely convenient for us and we couldn't have had a more positive experience. We are often surprised by how much our son has developed and learnt (including developing his social skills) at nursery.
