Knowle Green Day Nursery is a purpose built, spacious day nursery of the highest quality, with four main play areas and additional sleeping areas. The nursery has a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere, with a team of qualified and experienced practitioners providing a happy sociable environment where all children are treated as individuals. They have also obtained their Eco-schools Green Flag.

All age groups have access to individual enclosed garden areas which offer a wide range of activities and learning opportunities to help to promote children's social, emotional and physical development. There is also a large woodland area which all children are able to use for natural play.

Open from 7.00 to 6.30 and with a fully inclusive package, Knowle Green offers a comprehensive and convenient service to parents.

My daughter has been in the Ladybirds room since March and has settled in really well. My daughter had developed good bonds with all the staff especially her key worker and trots off at drop off without a backward look.
The app is updated patchily but I understand that inputting data into a tablet
would take away from the care of the children and staff are happy to chat at pick up so I don't feel out of the loop. I'm always updated as to my daughter's learning objectives and how we can work as a team to help my daughter along. I feel like my daughter has progressed so much since she started.
The outdoor space is very good and I know my daughter loves spending as much time as possible out there which is good for mind and body. There are plenty of activities available for even the busiest toddler. The fact that at pick up she's always mucky or in different clothes is a massive positive to me - I think a grubby toddler is a happy one!

The team at Knowle Green are incredible! Our son has flourished under their care and we are so happy that he is being moulded by people who really care about his development. Everyone goes the extra mile and seems to love doing what they do. We could not be happier!

We have a wonderful 4 year old who has been at Knowle Green Day Nursey since being a baby and now her 4 month old sister is at Knowle Green too.
The staff are wonderful and kind and even though it is a big nursery, everyone makes the effort to get to know you and your children. It feels like a big
family. I honestly can not recommend them enough.
Every key worker has treated our daughters with the upmost care. It is hard going back to work so quickly after having a baby, but Knowle Green have made the transition so much easier than it could be and I am eternally grateful for every member of staff from reception, to kitchen, to the room staff who work so hard to take care of our daughters. Thank you.

My child has moved up to Bumblebees in the last month and settled in after the first few days.
The team have taken extra care to ensure he has settled and he is happy and progressing at nursery.

We have been very happy since our child started at Knowle Green. The staff, both at the front desk and his room, are lovely and my child is happy. We have also seen lots of development. We can't fault it, especially the care and attention with my child's allergies.

We cannot speak highly enough of the Knowle Green Nursery team. Our son requires certain medical needs - the nursery staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that he receives the care that he needs.
Every day we are greeted with smiling, enthusiastic faces - not only by our son's key workers but
by the reception and management staff too.
We cannot recommend Knowle Green Nursery enough!

Excellent nursery with wonderful staff and reall attention to detail and care for each child as individuals.
The combination of the classes has meant age is fairly wide in development which is sometimes difficult, but overall, very happy with level of care and education.

Generally a very good nursery; however, we would like to see constant use of the app. Some days we always get updates on naps, food, nappies etc, and on some days, we get only one or two updates or none at all.
Also, we have noticed the staff don't tend to wipe our daughter's nose when it has been
running, and when she was in the caterpillar, on more time than we would have expected, she came home with a dirty nappy.
On the plus side, we loved doing the first aid care that was advertised in the newsletter.

Overall my son loves coming to your nursery. The staff at reception and in his room (currently caterpillars) are always welcoming and friendly. It would be nice to see more updates and photos on the app. I'd also like his bib to be changed as he's very dribbly. He is currently transitioning rooms and
this has been managed brilliantly. He's had lots of short sessions in the new room to get him used to moving. I do feel a separate room for them to nap in would be better than in the same room with so much going on.

Since my son started at knowle green 8 months ago he has come on leaps and bounds. He thoroughly enjoys going to nursery everyday and his confidence has grown so much.

Our son absolutely loves going to nursery. He looks forward to going and seeing his friends, loves the toys, equipment, activities and meals. The staff (both nursery room staff and administration) are fantastic, always on hand to help and most importantly are friendly, caring and warm. The location
is extremely convenient for us and we couldn't have had a more positive experience. We are often surprised by how much our son has developed and learnt (including developing his social skills) at nursery.

My child loves attending Knowle Green and spending time here. The team look after every need and also encourage his development. He has come on leaps and bounds in his social skills and also his language. He has a story to tell when we pick him up and has already started to make great friendships.
With
challenging or 'bad' behaviour the team work with you to try and prevent the behaviour while also helping to explain to my child the impact of the behaviour.

Our daughter has just left Knowle Green Day Nursery after two wonderful years there. Starting when she had just turned one, Knowle Green have been there for many of her milestones and supported both her and us as a family. The nursery has a wonderful sense of community, the senior leadership team have
a clear vision for the future of the provision and the staff in the rooms are without exception kind, caring and approachable. Our little one especially enjoyed her time in Bumblebees but we are so grateful to all the staff who have supported her over the past two years. We would not hesitate to recommend Knowle Green to any family looking for a nursery in the area. Many thanks to the manager and the team.

This is my second time with Knowle Green. My son went to Knowle Green at ages three and four. My daughter has now been going for four months and started when she turned one. I am very pleased with the care my children receive and the progress they have made. I have always been given honest feedback
in an empathetic way. I appreciate the flexibility to add sessions and exchange days, if available.
The teaching staff, key workers and admin staff are all accommodating and cheerful. I would recommend Knowle Green nursery to family and friends.

We are so thrilled with everything the nursery has done. Communication is always fantastic and no request is too much. The recent renovations of the rooms are stunning. The staff worked tirelessly over the weekend to prepare them. Our daughter has just moved up to a new room and it is beautifully laid

Chanelle Weaver

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2022

Chanelle is the Manager of the award-winning Knowle Green Day Nursery in Staines and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for over 20 years.


She has a Foundation degree in Early Childhood Studies, she also had training for the emotional well-being practitioner, behaviour management and SENDco.


Chanelle has recently started working at Childbase Partnership.


What is your favourite feature of Knowle Green?
The nursery has large outdoor environments individual to each room and a large woodland area to extend the outdoor learning following the woodland play programme.


What are you most proud of about your nursery?
The long-standing members of staff, with some working here for over 20 years are amazing.
