Knowle Green Day Nursery is a purpose built, spacious day nursery of the highest quality, with four main play areas and additional sleeping areas. The nursery has a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere, with a team of qualified and experienced practitioners providing a happy sociable environment where all children are treated as individuals. They have also obtained their Eco-schools Green Flag.

All age groups have access to individual enclosed garden areas which offer a wide range of activities and learning opportunities to help to promote children's social, emotional and physical development. There is also a large woodland area which all children are able to use for natural play.

Open from 7.00 to 6.30 and with a fully inclusive package, Knowle Green offers a comprehensive and convenient service to parents.

The nursery is excellent and I am always confident that my daughter is going to be well cared for. Communication between home and nursery is good and on occasion, I have raised concerns about things at home (e.g tendency to tantrums) the nursery have helped follow up and manage. The menu has recently
been changed and has not gone down as well but again the nursery has been quick to address this and make changes to the menu. I could not recommend this nursery highly enough.

I regularly collect my niece from nursery and can see the huge difference attending nursery has made to her. She is an extremely sociable, kind, caring child who seems to thrive on the lovely activities and interactions with staff. Her nursery is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone.

I am very happy with the nursery. The staff are friendly and approachable and my daughter has settled in very well. I enjoy knowing what she has done and am well informed of meals, sleeps and the progress in development she is making. The activities and equipment is excellent and looking forward to

My daughter has recently started at the nursery having moved from another nursery. I could not be happier. The staff in the Butterflies room have been fab and made my daughter feel so secure and happy.


The level of care is far better than at the old nursery and daily routine is brilliant.

My experience has been nothing but outstanding at Knowle Green Day Nursery (Staines). My daughter started October 2017 and she is quite wary. After a few weeks, my daughter was relaxed and happy going in and this was down to the staff in caterpillars. They have the best interest in our children. I got
great feedback daily. Fantastic variety of meals. They do excellent activities and my daughter developed a lot from it. It was reflected in her photo's and comment on parent zone app. Highly recommend this nursery. Great leadership and management.

Both my children have been at the nursery over the last four years. Going to work is so much easier knowing that they are safe, happy and loved by the staff.


They both learnt a great deal, particularly in preschool and have/will start school well equipped.

The nursery organised a trip to a pantomime for my son's class. He was very excited to tell us all about the princess and the witch. Also how they had to hold hands to get on the train. I was very pleased the nursery had gone to such effort to organise a fun day trip. A lovely memory for their last

Knowle Green nursery is wonderful, set in scenic environment, with enthusiastic, passionate staff. I am impressed with the level of service and care provided to my daughter who started at 14 months. She has now settled well into the Ladybird class. As a part-time working mother, the transition to the

My son is being cared for in the nursery very well. He has been happy from the start. We started nursery when he was seven months and I must say that the staff are very friendly, caring and have always made sure they tell us what happened during the day (no matter how many times you call them when you

I've used this nursery for the last six years for my three children. The kids have loved every minute of their time here, and I think that reflects on the staff who are excellent and happy to go the extra mile for the kids. Chanelle Weaver

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2022

Chanelle is the Manager of the award-winning Knowle Green Day Nursery in Staines and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for over 20 years.


She has a Foundation degree in Early Childhood Studies, she also had training for the emotional well-being practitioner, behaviour management and SENDco.


Chanelle has recently started working at Childbase Partnership.


What is your favourite feature of Knowle Green?
The nursery has large outdoor environments individual to each room and a large woodland area to extend the outdoor learning following the woodland play programme.


What are you most proud of about your nursery?
The long-standing members of staff, with some working here for over 20 years are amazing.
