Toad Hall Nursery Felcott Road is committed to the highest quality of nursery education for children from three months to five years of age, being well resourced to suit the development needs of different age groups within a safe and comfortable interior.

A qualified team of staff are dedicated to pursuing the goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage, while taking on board all aspects of health and security that parents would expect to have in place.

Toad Hall Nursery Group deliver high quality childcare and they ensure the welfare of each and every child by providing a secure and safe environment where children are encouraged to be healthy and active learners. Fresh food is prepared daily and all meals are nutritionally balanced.

Highly qualified staff will enable all children to form secure attachments which ensure healthy emotional development and children are able to extend their learning in a calm and relaxed manner therefore preparing them for the life ahead.

My child has attended Felcott Road Toad Hall since they were 1 year old. I have found the staff reliable and supportive throughout.


I feel that the staff really work hard to see the child as an individual and ensure that their days are fun-filled but also with plenty of learning.


The activities

on offer range from music and dance to sport and visits. Even some French. The food is wholesome and most days my child eats much better than I do myself.


I would recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been attending Toad Hall for 18 months now and has attended since the age of 1.


From the very beginning, she was happy being dropped off and needed very few settling in sessions, but the staff were happy to provide more if she had needed them.


The variety and quality of food

seem really good and our daughter enjoys the majority of the menu.


The range of indoor and outdoor activities is good and the outside play area is safe and of a decent size.


The staff work really hard to ensure that parents are kept up to date and regularly post videos and photos to a parent zone app. There are regular events held at the nursery and the Christmas show that was held for the children to watch was great fun and value for money.


We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Toad Hall and would encourage anyone looking for a nursery to visit.

My daughter has attended Toad Hall for a year and a half and has been very happy there. The staff are caring and prepare a wide range of activities to keep her entertained and learning throughout the day. The nursery has improved a lot under the new manager who has reversed the previously high staff
turnover problem resulting in a more settled setting for the children and peace of mind for the parents. Money has been injected into improving facilities and learning opportunities for the children. It is one of the more expensive nurseries but the quality of the staff and facilities justify the fees.

Conveniently located within walking distance to Walton Station, so an easy drop off/pick up for anyone commuting to London. They have recently redone the preschool garden which is very nice.


The staff are incredible and are always happy. They have a vested interest in the children and care about

their development and well-being. You can also tell there is camaraderie amongst the staff when you see them interacting with each other.


The food is very nutritious and creative, inspiring recipes at home. I also like that the kitchen staff provide in room cooking and baking directly with the children.


The cost is slightly higher than comparable surrounding nurseries but worth it given the staff, location and planned future refurbishment of the nursery.


As a first-time mom I was hesitant to trust the care of my child with anyone, but after visiting, we gave this nursery a try. A year and a half after my daughter is very happy and my son will start attending in October.

Toad Hall had a family summer fun day in late July. A large number of the staff were there. Very impressive considering it was a Saturday! There were loads of activities for ALL the kids and the food was excellent and nicely varied. We were made to feel very welcome and inclusive. Both our daughters
loved the fact that we were able to enjoy time with them - rather than the drop and dash, of a normal weekday. A fabulous effort by all the staff. Many Thanks!

Toad Hall Nursery Walton-on-Thames has been wonderful to both my boys! My eldest has severe food allergies and they have handled this extremely well. They've made him feel no different to others producing delicious meals for him.
The nursery has really improved over the years, the outdoor areas have
grown. The staff are really caring and help parents with routine, transitions and developments. They have been amazing to my two boys.

My daughter is approaching the end of her time at nursery before she leaves to start school. She has really enjoyed her 2 years there and made some lovely friends. The staff are all very friendly.
She enjoys the sports class and Jo Jingles. She hasn't been on any trips while she's been here which is
a shame, but she will definitely be sad to leave and I think she is ready for that because of coming here.

Currently, our youngest son is at the nursery, our older son having been before.
Toad Hall is a great nursery.
The staff are very caring and do their best to make sure the children have a great time.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 10 months old.
Felcott Road has strong values that shine throughout all the rooms.
All staff are passionate about their jobs and providing the best care for the children.
Any issues are dealt with quickly and I have never had any issues at the nursery
where I felt my child's welfare hasn't been their top priority.
A brilliant, friendly nursery.
One improvement required is communication from the office and better/clearer invoices.

My son has settled amazingly at Felcott Road. I truly believe this is due to not only the incredible team of staff they have, but also the supportive management team. Leaving my son was so hard at first and now I couldn't even imagine him being anywhere else.

We were very impressed with Felcott Road from the day we looked around. The facilities, particularly the outside area, are fantastic.


I was also very impressed with the mathematics and reading programmes that are in place.


The food is varied and nutritional and we always know that our daughter

will be fed well.


The extra events are very thoughtful and go the extra mile, such as Mother's Day tea and Father's Day BBQ.


My daughter took a little while to settle as she is only there 1 day a week but for some months now, has been going in willingly and happily and she always has a great day.


I would thoroughly recommend Felcott Road to any prospective parents.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

I have been working in day nurseries since 1995 after qualifying as an NNEB nursery nurse, giving me over 30 years of experience in the sector, including 28 years in management roles. In 2013, I completed my BA (Hons) in Education & Childcare, following a Foundation Degree in Management & Leadership in Early Years.


Throughout my career, I have continually updated my training in areas such as First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Safeguarding. I have previously been a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and will also be the named DSL here at Toad Hall.


My vision is to provide outstanding quality childcare and education in an inclusive, safe, and stimulating environment. I strongly believe staff are the biggest asset any nursery can have, and I am passionate about supporting and valuing each team member so they can create exceptional learning opportunities and give children the very best start.


Having my own children (now grown up and independent) attend Nursery, I understand the needs of parents and believe that forming strong relationships with families enhances every child’s Nursery experience.
