Both our children attend this nursery and we are so pleased with the care they receive. There are so many lovely events and activities for the children. The outside spaces that every room has are amazing. We feel really lucky to have found such a fantastic nursery.
The nursery has a great outside space. They have parent zone, a website spare where you can check in a real-time the progress and development of your child.
I visited many others places before Toad Hall and I loved everything here. Highly recommend.
My little girl has been in the baby room at Toad Hall Nursery for over a month now. The staff are excellent - really friendly and approachable. Was feeling nervous about nursery at first as my daughter is quite clingy but the staff are very reassuring that everything is ok. My daughter seems to enjoy all the food and snacks at nursery, has started to nap better there and doesn't cry when dropping her off now too which is lovely to see. Thank you to the team at Felcott Road!
Our daughter really loves going to this nursery. She has been in the baby room which was good and now in the toddler room which is excellent. The staff are welcoming, kind and caring and our daughter loves the activities. We also love receiving the daily stickers telling us what she's been doing, weekly photos on the secure shared site and the regular items she brings home! Thank you for taking such good care of our little girl!
My child has attended Felcott Road Toad Hall since they were 1 year old. I have found the staff reliable and supportive throughout.
I feel that the staff really work hard to see the child as an individual and ensure that their days are fun-filled but also with plenty of learning.
The activities on offer range from music and dance to sport and visits. Even some French. The food is wholesome and most days my child eats much better than I do myself.
I would recommend this nursery.
Our daughter has been attending Toad Hall for 18 months now and has attended since the age of 1.
From the very beginning, she was happy being dropped off and needed very few settling in sessions, but the staff were happy to provide more if she had needed them.
The variety and quality of food seem really good and our daughter enjoys the majority of the menu.
The range of indoor and outdoor activities is good and the outside play area is safe and of a decent size.
The staff work really hard to ensure that parents are kept up to date and regularly post videos and photos to a parent zone app. There are regular events held at the nursery and the Christmas show that was held for the children to watch was great fun and value for money.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Toad Hall and would encourage anyone looking for a nursery to visit.
My daughter has attended Toad Hall for a year and a half and has been very happy there. The staff are caring and prepare a wide range of activities to keep her entertained and learning throughout the day. The nursery has improved a lot under the new manager who has reversed the previously high staff turnover problem resulting in a more settled setting for the children and peace of mind for the parents. Money has been injected into improving facilities and learning opportunities for the children. It is one of the more expensive nurseries but the quality of the staff and facilities justify the fees.
Very friendly and caring staff. They have so far managed my Daughters allergies well and she has bonded really well with all staff as she has progressed through the classes.
Conveniently located within walking distance to Walton Station, so an easy drop off/pick up for anyone commuting to London. They have recently redone the preschool garden which is very nice.
The staff are incredible and are always happy. They have a vested interest in the children and care about their development and well-being. You can also tell there is camaraderie amongst the staff when you see them interacting with each other.
The food is very nutritious and creative, inspiring recipes at home. I also like that the kitchen staff provide in room cooking and baking directly with the children.
The cost is slightly higher than comparable surrounding nurseries but worth it given the staff, location and planned future refurbishment of the nursery.
As a first-time mom I was hesitant to trust the care of my child with anyone, but after visiting, we gave this nursery a try. A year and a half after my daughter is very happy and my son will start attending in October.
Toad Hall had a family summer fun day in late July. A large number of the staff were there. Very impressive considering it was a Saturday! There were loads of activities for ALL the kids and the food was excellent and nicely varied. We were made to feel very welcome and inclusive. Both our daughters loved the fact that we were able to enjoy time with them - rather than the drop and dash, of a normal weekday. A fabulous effort by all the staff. Many Thanks!
The nursery has really improved over the years, the outdoor areas have grown. The staff are really caring and help parents with routine, transitions and developments. They have been amazing to my two boys.
She enjoys the sports class and Jo Jingles. She hasn't been on any trips while she's been here which is a shame, but she will definitely be sad to leave and I think she is ready for that because of coming here.
Very nurturing environment and my daughter has always enjoyed her time here. Key workers very attentive, food choices very good. My daughter has developed good interpersonal skills and learning to share. Thank you.
My daughter has been loved and cared for at Toad Hall Nursery Walton-on-Thames for over 3 years and her preschool experience has been amazing. We have seen her grow in confidence, learn new things and flourish. She will miss it so much when we leave this year to start school and are so grateful for everything Toad Hall has done.
Both my children have attended since they were 9 months and we have always found the staff to be so friendly and kind and really look after the children. It's a lovely sociable learning environment for children.
Friendly staff, good security, excellent outdoor facilities and most importantly our son really enjoys his time here.
Overall this is a very good nursery. The staff are very friendly and look after the children very well. They are very caring and really support the children and learning and development. However, communication between the management, staff and parents could be improved. But overall we had a really good experience.
Toad Hall is a great nursery.
The staff are very caring and do their best to make sure the children have a great time.
All staff know all the children's names.
My children have been very happy here.
Felcott Road has strong values that shine throughout all the rooms.
All staff are passionate about their jobs and providing the best care for the children.
Any issues are dealt with quickly and I have never had any issues at the nursery where I felt my child's welfare hasn't been their top priority.
A brilliant, friendly nursery.
One improvement required is communication from the office and better/clearer invoices.
My daughter really enjoys her days at nursery.
Good variety of activities.
Some of the menu choices are a bit questionable ie sardines on toast, but overall very happy.

Meet the Team (1)
I have been working in day nurseries since 1995 after qualifying as an NNEB nursery nurse, giving me over 30 years of experience in the sector, including 28 years in management roles. In 2013, I completed my BA (Hons) in Education & Childcare, following a Foundation Degree in Management & Leadership in Early Years.
Throughout my career, I have continually updated my training in areas such as First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Safeguarding. I have previously been a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and will also be the named DSL here at Toad Hall.
My vision is to provide outstanding quality childcare and education in an inclusive, safe, and stimulating environment. I strongly believe staff are the biggest asset any nursery can have, and I am passionate about supporting and valuing each team member so they can create exceptional learning opportunities and give children the very best start.
Having my own children (now grown up and independent) attend Nursery, I understand the needs of parents and believe that forming strong relationships with families enhances every child’s Nursery experience.
