Toad Hall Nursery Felcott Road is committed to the highest quality of nursery education for children from three months to five years of age, being well resourced to suit the development needs of different age groups within a safe and comfortable interior.

A qualified team of staff are dedicated to pursuing the goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage, while taking on board all aspects of health and security that parents would expect to have in place.

Toad Hall Nursery Group deliver high quality childcare and they ensure the welfare of each and every child by providing a secure and safe environment where children are encouraged to be healthy and active learners. Fresh food is prepared daily and all meals are nutritionally balanced.

Highly qualified staff will enable all children to form secure attachments which ensure healthy emotional development and children are able to extend their learning in a calm and relaxed manner therefore preparing them for the life ahead.

I've had children at this nursery since March 2015 (five years) and they have always been happy to go in and have a great time. The staff are friendly and caring and build good relationships with the children. I like the fact that the food is prepared and cooked fresh on the premises.

In Toad Hall Nursery my son found lots of friends. He made massive improvements in every field of learning, such as counting, recognising words, foreign languages, alphabet, manners, sharing etc. The greatest aspect of all of it is that he actually enjoys going to nursery now and at home he talks of
his friends and his lovely teachers. I'm grateful to the staff for having made nursery such a fun place for my son.

Our son has been attending Toad Hall for six months and we have been very impressed with everything so far. The staff stand out in particular. They are friendly, professional and our son loves going as they make him feel very welcome. We are also pleased with the variety of activities for him. He loves
external visitors and the focus on outdoor play. There is detail paid to cultural events and the food is varied and he eats everything, including seconds!

Overall a great nursery. Initially picked it for convenience commuting to work as both of us (Mum and Dad) are working full time in London. Our baby settled in very quickly, largely down to key staff who took their time to get to know my baby and make her feel her happy and bubbly self. I can't thank
them enough! There are plenty of activities scheduled for all ages, we are kept well informed via emails and occasionally phone calls and during our regular catch ups with key workers. It is a secure, clean and happy place for our little one - the onsite team are always happy to assist. Also, impressed with the weekly menu choices - the chef makes effort to cook varied and interesting meals.

Pleased with the girls that lead the room. They always give updates on the activities my child has been doing and update how well she has eaten. I would have preferred an update on sleeping when that stopped as when we viewed the nursery they said some children do nap in this class and my child is one
of the younger ones but it's not a big issue as we get told about the rest of the stuff so that might have just slipped. Generally, the girls do a fab job sow well done. The nursery helped our daughter settle very well when she started last year and helped me get her eating well - so impressed. Thank you.

My two children both have had a great time at Felcott. The garden is really lovely and allows a lot of outdoor play. The staff are very caring and they deliver a lot of activities and learning. I would recommend the nursery to other parents.

The staff make my child feel so special and dedicate a lot of time to his needs. There is such a varied week of activities and themes that keep the children entertained. The special events to include parents are a great way to see more of what happens at nursery.

Both our children attend this nursery and we are so pleased with the care they receive. There are so many lovely events and activities for the children. The outside spaces that every room has are amazing. We feel really lucky to have found such a fantastic nursery.

We really loved the place, the staff, we feel, are very welcoming. My baby loves being there, he is learning lots of different things, he has loads of great activities. Every day he comes back home with something new that he has learnt.
The nursery has a great outside space. They have parent zone,
a website spare where you can check in a real-time the progress and development of your child.
I visited many others places before Toad Hall and I loved everything here. Highly recommend.

My little girl has been in the baby room at Toad Hall Nursery for over a month now. The staff are excellent - really friendly and approachable. Was feeling nervous about nursery at first as my daughter is quite clingy but the staff are very reassuring that everything is ok. My daughter seems to enjoy
all the food and snacks at nursery, has started to nap better there and doesn't cry when dropping her off now too which is lovely to see. Thank you to the team at Felcott Road!

Our daughter really loves going to this nursery. She has been in the baby room which was good and now in the toddler room which is excellent. The staff are welcoming, kind and caring and our daughter loves the activities. We also love receiving the daily stickers telling us what she's been doing, weekly
photos on the secure shared site and the regular items she brings home! Thank you for taking such good care of our little girl!

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

I have been working in day nurseries since 1995 after qualifying as an NNEB nursery nurse, giving me over 30 years of experience in the sector, including 28 years in management roles. In 2013, I completed my BA (Hons) in Education & Childcare, following a Foundation Degree in Management & Leadership in Early Years.


Throughout my career, I have continually updated my training in areas such as First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Safeguarding. I have previously been a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and will also be the named DSL here at Toad Hall.


My vision is to provide outstanding quality childcare and education in an inclusive, safe, and stimulating environment. I strongly believe staff are the biggest asset any nursery can have, and I am passionate about supporting and valuing each team member so they can create exceptional learning opportunities and give children the very best start.


Having my own children (now grown up and independent) attend Nursery, I understand the needs of parents and believe that forming strong relationships with families enhances every child’s Nursery experience.
