Our son has attended this nursery for 3 years and he has absolutely thrived there. The staff know him so well and daily communication with home is excellent. We are always ‘in the know’ with what has been going on, what the children have been doing and how we can support the learning at home. However, the balance between education and fun is perfect; although there is always an educational focus, it is clear to me that the well-being and happiness of our son is the priority.

Both our children joined the nursery as babies, our first has now left for school and our second is in the nursery room. Both children are very happy and have been developing well through the play and activities available at nursery. The staff are fantastic, we couldn’t ask for a better environment for our little ones.

What an amazing place. Top of my list for a place for my son to spend a lot of time would always be dedicated, caring and fun staff, and that's where Haslemere Pre-school and Day Nursery really excels. It feels more like an extension of family and we - including our one year old - are very grateful.

Our son is very happy in the nursery room. The staff are lovely and he is well looked after. They encourage him to take part in activities and talk to him about his family. He eats well (always second helpings!) so we assume the food is good! We were delighted to hear that some refurbishment works are taking place as that will improve the appearance massively. The building itself is in need of some TLC so it is great that this has been recognised and the investment is being made. The outside play area improvements that were carried out a couple of years ago have made a huge difference and the children love playing outside in all winds and weathers.

My son has attended this nursery since January 2016. I have been extremely happy with the care he has received. The staff really care about the children and engage fully with them. They have a great outdoor space/garden where the children play in all weathers. The staff communicate well with the parents and I can totally recommend this nursery.

We have been very happy with my son's care at this nursery. The staff are caring and I have been impressed with how well they have got to know my son on an individual basis. They keep me well informed as to how he has been each day at nursery. This gives me peace of mind whilst I am at work.

I feel he is in safe hands and I am glad he is at this nursery.

We can't praise this nursery enough. It was one of the best decisions we ever made to send our 2 girls here. The staff are really amazing and they really care for the children. Educationally, it is excellent. Food is nutritious and tasty. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Both my eldest children have attended the nursery. My eldest started in 2012 and my middle son in 2015. I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the staff, their dedication to the children and the warmth with which they provide their care. In particular, the enthusiasm of one particular member of staff in preschool/nursery has brought my very shy second son out of his shell. I also appreciate the effort they put into a variety of activities which has meant both children are well prepared for school - which was evidenced by my eldest adapting to Reception well in 2016.
The chef is also great and takes care to provide the children with a varied menu, including plenty of vegetables.
Since the refurbishment of the garden, the outdoor space is also great in all weather which is good given the extremes of temperature we have seen in recent years!
Finally, I should mention that the managers do a great job, and welcome you when you join.

Highly recommend!

My two children thoroughly enjoyed their time at nursery so far. My eldest has now gone on to school and I feel she has had excellent preparation, enabling a smooth and relayed transition. My youngest still attends and is very happy. The nursery had a wonderful nurturing environment and staff are kind, caring and professional.

Our son started at Asquith aged one and during the five months that he's been going regularly he's developed and learned lots. The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful and our son is really enjoying his time at Asquith.

We have been really pleased with the support we have received in settling in our baby boy. We were anxious at the start but as soon as we saw how caring the staff are, this all went away. Our boy is having great days and achieving very good development milestones. It's also great to have parent evenings to come and discuss his progress in a bit more detail.

What I like best is the experience of the staff and the relatively low turnover, which means great continuity for my son.
The activities and themed weeks have been great and we like to continue this at home.
I like that the staff are always looking to try something new.

The garden is a huge plus - fantastic space, ride on's, slide, vegetable patch and climbing frames.

My daughter began settling in sessions in October 2016. We decided to send her to the Haslemere Pre-School & Day Nursery based on their fantastic facilities, garden space and the caring and professional staff we met. Their ethos mirrors our own when it comes to what we expect from those caring for and teaching our daughter. My daughter started in the nursery following settling in sessions and adjusted well. The staff in the nursery are amazing with her, she has grown so much socially in the time she has been with them. She is moving up to pre-school, already I can see that having a positive impact on her. We could not be happier with the standard of care and communication we receive from the nursery and believe we 100% made the right decision to send her there. The progress she has made from the shy girl she was is noticeable to all of our family and friends. I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a safe, professional and caring environment for their child to thrive.

Our first few weeks at the nursery, from settling in sessions to beginning at the nursery have been well managed with staff that are all so friendly, in the baby and toddler room plus the management of the nursery. The staff are very caring and always willing to give cuddles to help settle mu daughter plus ask questions in order to get to know her needs better. As a first-time mum having to leave my 1-year old for the first time, the staff have made a difficult situation much more comforting and reassuring knowing they are so caring and competent.

Both my daughters attend Haslemere. My oldest has been attending since she was 9 months and is now in the pre-school. She has flourished becoming increasingly confident and interested in the world around her. They have weekly themes in the pre-school and my daughter comes home full of facts and ideas about these. There are lots of craft/art activities related to the themes. The key workers care about her and she is always excited to see them. The food is excellent and varied. I am so pleased we chose Haslemere as I love watching her excitement when she gets ready for and arrives at pre-school.
