Bright Horizons Haslemere Day Nursery and Preschool

Our son has been at Bright Horizons Haslemere since March 2025 (he just turned 2) when we moved house. Our son struggled with settling for quite a while post house move and injury leave but the staff have been so supportive and helpful throughout with amazing communication and updates on the app. They have been so supportive throughout our son's time there, encouraging him to get involved and emotionally supporting him and us. The play facilities and activities are always varied and engaging (especially for a 3yo boy with a short attention span!). The food menu is always varied seasonally and our son eats more foods at nursery than he does at home! The outdoor spaces are amazing and they are used as much as possible throughout the year. The transition from Toddler room to Pre-school room was seamless, we were worried about re-settling, but because the rooms merge in the garden and some play he didn't notice the change! The hours are also great for working parents! Definitely recommend!

We have been using his nursery for 18 months now and cannot praise the staff enough. They are caring and attentive and have help ensure my son has grown and developed during his time there. The outside space means he gets lots time to explore as well as more structured learning. He also particularly enjoys the daily dance sessions!

My little girl has been at Bright Horizons for 3years and honestly she still loves it there. The staff are great with supporting her and preparing for reception and I couldn't thank them enough for keeping my girl Happy.

We were quite apprehensive about sending our little one to nursery and the staff at Bright Horizons have been fantastic at helping her to settle in. They get to know each child individually and I've been particularly impressed by their communication - regularly keeping us informed of our daughter's progress and putting in place special measures if/when they feel she needs it to ensure she thrives. Well done Emma and Charlotte - you have a great team who are clearly passionate about what they do.

Both my children have been to this nursery and I really think it has gone strength to strength over the years. My son is now 3 and has been there since he was 1. The staff are the best thing about the place, as we have been so lucky to have key workers throughout the years who really understand him, and who really enjoy looking after him. They take time to get to know what he loves. He has a great group of friends who he loves seeing. The outside space is perfect. They do lovely activities and we can see everything on the app, lots of fab pictures. The food is cooked on site and I'm always impressed by the variety of healthy wholesome hot meals they have. The hours are great for me as I commute. I have recommended this nursery to quite a few friends- I think it's got a lovely warm vibe and ticks all the boxes. No hesitation to recommend!!

My daughter really enjoys going to Bright Horizons, and I feel like the staff members take the time to get to know each child and how best to help them thrive as individuals. I would highly recommend.

Bright Horizons has been brilliant for my daughter. She was very nervous when she started, the staff were lovely in helping her settle. She now has a wonderful time, skips in and doesn't want to leave. She's made some lovely friends and her numbers and letters have really improved. I will be sending my second child there soon and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our son has been very happy at Bright Horizons, setting in quickly, and forming lovely bonds with his key person, while feeling comfortable, happy, and at ease with other staff. A real positive for me is seeing how thought-through and enjoyable the activities are that the toddlers take part in. As well as being geared towards fun, the nursery staff explain in updates to parents what the purpose of activities are in terms of the children's development. They also post individual observations of your child from time to time; it's lovely to see and hear about specific behaviours and interactions during the day, and fascinating as a parent to learn from what professionals know and see!

Our child has been at Bright Horizons for over a year- she settled in well and has had a wonderful time. She'll often ask to stay later, and has made a lovely group of friends. The staff take the time to listen and support us, and communication through the app, which is very timely and detailed. The opening hours are hugely helpful for our work situation. Our daughter is also very happy with the food!

My one comment would be that the menu could be a little more varied, though she seems to eat plenty so it's not a real concern and we've also had a couple of issues with dirty nappies not being changed however the staff worked quickly to address this and it hasn't happened since.

The staff here are so friendly and our son absolutely loves going here every day. They do a variety of activities and are always coming up with new ideas. He loves the food and is always having seconds! Would highly recommend this nursery as we are very happy with the level of care our son gets. The longer opening hours are great for commuting too.

Our daughter has been at Bright Horizons in Haslemere for over a year and we have been really happy with the care and guidance she has received. She always has fun, is engaged and happy and the team are all really positive, polite and friendly. It has been a great start to nursery life and we have noticed a massive progression in her development during her time at Bright Horizons. A great experience and nursery we would definitely recommend to others.

Nursery staff have been kind and caring for our little one. We were uncertain at first but it is clear that it is a good environment. The nursery has small groups for the young ones and consistent staff so you get to know who's who and they get to know your kid. The enrichment activities look fantastic. The extended hours (07:00-18:30) are very useful, especially if you are working in London and means you don't have to juggle wrap-around care. It isn't cheap but you do get good value for your money with all food and consumables included.

My child has settled into primary school very calmly and confidently. I'm sure this is partly due to the good care and guidance given at the nursery. Staff are caring and accommodating and will go the extra mile for the children. The graduation ceremony organised for pre-school leavers was brilliant. All in all, our little one has had a really good experience.

We have put two children through this nursery and have been very happy consistently with the care our girls have received for the last 4 years. We always felt reassured that our girls were safe and well looked after and feel they progressed in their development massively in their time here through the activities, facilities and use of the lovely outdoor space. Credit to the nursery, couldn't thank you all enough for the effort you all put in.

A lot of teachers are not qualified and not very friendly so don't just assume they are all trained.

Our daughter started at Bright Horzion Haslemere Day Nursery and Preschool three months ago and the team have been absolutely fantastic. It was a tricky couple of days settling in but she was taken in warmly every day and it only took a week or two for her to completely love it, to the point that she gets the biggest smile in the morning when she sees the staff. We are grateful for the amazing job the staff are doing and would recommend this nursery to all our family and friends. Our little one seems to love her food now and we love catching up on all the great activities she gets to do on all her days there!

The staff at Bright Horizons Haslemere Day Nursery and Preschool do a fantastic job caring for my son and helping him develop. They play a key role in his development and it's lovely to see him grow with each new experience the nursery provides. My son has formed a real bond with the staff he interacts with. I know he feels excited and safe when he comes to nursery. And I’m confident he will be well looked after. Through the team's encouragement and care, my son’s confidence is growing, he's coming out of his shell and developing his own unique personality, as well as many other important skills. I appreciate the photos and updates the team provide on the app and can tell my son really enjoys his time at nursery and is learning a lot through lots of varied activities and playing with other children. I have no idea how the team manages to provide such exceptional care for all the children there. They do a great job. I couldn't be happier that my son is at Bright Horizons Haslemere.
