The staff are always lovely, day in day out.
Extremely helpful and always supportive.
My daughter is very happy here. She regularly tells me "I had such fun" or "I had a good time". I definitely believe she is well looked after.
Sandfield Day Nursery is a really good nursery. My daughter settled really well. They have a good garden/outdoor space that can be used daily. The facilities are good as well. All sorts of activities are done with the children. Food cooked on site and quite healthy. Allergies are also taken seriously. Good communication with families via daily charts and parent zone application. I would recommend Sandfield Day Nursery to any parent!
An excellent nursery, my daughter loves it here and has enjoyed every room she has been in since she was 10 months old. Great resources, well-balanced meals and a nice big garden to play in. All staff are so friendly, helpful and caring. I would highly recommend this Nursery to everyone.
An excellent nursery which is greatly helping my son's development.
Excellent care throughout the age groups at nursery. Our son started at 11 months in Caterpillars and has been very happy all the way through to pre-school. All the staff are friendly and helpful and great with the children. Really good outdoor space our son loves the garden.
He has always had lovely key workers to look after him and he seems to enjoy the food.
Excellent very friendly nursery. Great quality care and staff who seem to really enjoy working with the children. Lots of updates in ParentZone and fun learning activities each day. Excellent environment indoors and out.
Sandfield is simply amazing. They have managed my son's bereavement so well and treat every child and parent with respect. I trust them to look after my child which is the most valuable thing to me. He has developed so well under their care and he has a true bond with the team.
Dear Sandfield day nursery staff,
Wishing you all the best for the future and kind wishes from us all.
The start of our second child at nursery has been a very easy process. He has settled in well and all the staff have been excellent. The only comment I would make is that I don't see our key person and much, but this is also because I don't do as many drop offs and pick ups as I used to - thanks to dad!
The key person has alway been devoted to both my children and I feel that they really do care. The security is very good with a bolted gate and door buzzer. I would highly recommend the nursery to everyone.
The care my daughter has had in the Catterpillar Room has been fabulous and I know she has been well looked after and loved every minute of it. The girls always have a smile on their face and are really affectionate with the children which I think is lovely. The meals and activities provided by the nursery are excellent. I cannot recommend the nursery enough.
Our little boy settled in really quickly thanks to the staff and quite often it's a struggle to get him to come home at the end of the day. The staff are so welcoming and the management team are always really visible and accessible. We really like the balanced mix of more experienced staff and the energy and enthusiasm brought by the younger members of the team. The staff all seem happy to be at work and I think that speaks volumes. There is a lot of laughter at this nursery but staff are always very professional too. The outdoor play space is fabulous with a range of different areas and our son loves the free flow ethos between the nursery room and garden. There is always a good range of activities with clean and well looked after toys. Sometimes it would be nice to get a few more photos and they are working to develop a more accessible electronic system. The cooks have been fabulous at helping us manage our son's food intolerances . We feel very lucky to have our son at Sandfield Day Nursery.
The 'Sandfield Day Nursery' team are a dedicated group of people who go above and beyond the call of duty to make every child's experience special. My son has loved each room he has attended for different reasons. The time and effort that goes into planning each day is noticeable, not to mention the 'Extra Curricular' events the nursery hold. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to anyone. P.S. It has a fantastic garden suitable for play all year round.
My son started at Sandfield in August 2015. Since joining he has become a confident and social little boy. He has been eating a wider variety of foods which he would not even try at home, he's a lot less fussy (Thanks to the wonderful cooks!). His speech and motor skills are coming on fantastically and he really enjoys being with other children. Although he is only 2 now, he has made a lovely little group of friends who he is always very happy to see when I come in to drop him off. I even have days when he is reluctant to come home because he is having too much fun!
I really like the fact that the children have open access to the garden.
The staff are friendly and very approachable. My son has warmed to them all very quickly and has made wonderful relationships with his key workers. I too have made good relationships with staff members.
I would highly recommend this nursery, especially if you are looking for a very homely and welcoming environment.
I can highly recommend this nursery. My son has attended since Oct 2013, when he was 8.5 months old. Very friendly and caring staff and great activities. My son is now a pre-schooler and and seems to very much enjoy the educational aspects as well as the more messy and fun-focused activities. He also constantly mentions the 'golden values' being taught when he is at home (e.g., 'sharing is caring'). In fact, he enjoys his time at Sandfield with his little friends so much that he will sometimes ask if he can go to pre-school even on Saturdays and Sundays.
Our daughter is seven months old and absolutely loves the nursery. When I come to pick her up she will give me a smile and turn back to playing. I am still breastfeeding and the nursery are very supportive. I come twice a day and there is a parent room ready for me. Girls in the Caterpillar room are fantastic doing their best to be caring, diligent and flexible. Our daughter always gives them her biggest smile when we arrive in the morning. The chef is great, she helped us with baby-led weaning which was a great success.
Our daughter has been here nearly a year, and it has been wonderful for all of us. The staff in Ladybirds are so caring towards her, and take a real interest in her interests and different quirks. She is clearly very happy spending time with them, and usually leaps into somebody's arms for a cuddle when we arrive. The room has a very friendly atmosphere, and fosters lovely relationships between the children there.
Her key person has such a good understanding of our daughter as a person, and we've really valued the insights she's shared with us.
Overall it's been a great experience, and we whole-heartedly recommend to friends with young children.
While on 'granny' duties I took my granddaughter to Sandfield Nursery. It was the first time I had visited. I was immediately impressed by the friendly, helpful staff and the first class facilities - the outside area has to be seen to be believed.
