The nursery is big on happy children, they have a growing area for food (and eating it) and have regular visits to local care homes. They are also big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.
They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world. Their ParentZone app keeps parents/carers informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!
They hold the silver award in the prestigious Green Flag Eco-schools programme which sees children lead the way in making little changes that have big environmental differences.
The nursery has its own garden area that allows the children to play outside all year round. One section of the garden has been designed as a beach, giving the children the freedom to explore and experiment with texture and volume.

About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 52 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 52 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 21.9 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

My little boy has loved going to the nursery from day one. The staff are brilliant and very friendly and caring and have really helped me track his progress at times when I have been worried that he is not developing as much as he should be. The manager of the nursery is excellent and seem's to genuinely care about all of the children and this makes such a difference.
The rooms are full of colour and age-appropriate toys to enhance development. Each day I drop my son off there are different activities set up.

The staff have all been extremely professional and available. My son's keyworker was amazing, really supportive and listened to my wishes. It was a difficult time for me personally leaving my baby at first but the staff made the transition very smooth for me. The staff are all very caring and gentle (I only have experience with the baby rooms).
My son loves it there. When I drop him off in the morning the other children all seem to be very settled and happy too. The set up is organised and nursery appears to be very clean.
My son is half Portuguese and to accommodate his needs the staff wrote Portuguese words for him and put them in the room to label objects. This was a very individualised approach and much appreciated.
I recommend the nursery.

The new app is a great way of seeing how she is getting on and what she’s eaten etc and the observations of her progress are fantastic to see pop up on my phone. I love seeing the photos of her playing and learning with her friends.

In particular, the staff are amazing, approachable and helpful. The early years learning is great and there is an opportunity for feedback and parent involvement as well which is particularly helpful.
We are very pleased with the care our son receives here. He is learning so much and the staff is extremely caring and knows him, his needs and quirks in and out. When he is on a break and we walk by the nursery, he tries to pull us towards the door and wants to go in to play. He also loves the food and eats even more than at home.
It is quite expensive, but you can see with all the material they use for learning and playing as well as the activities where the money goes. We definitely recommend this nursery.
I have had bad experiences with the management, being requested to hang around in the morning because staff are running late - not great when it means you're late for work/have a train to catch. At times the invoices are incorrect so need observing/checking and administrator is not in every day....

The staff who care for the children are excellent, I couldn't wish for a happier child and the development had been outstanding since starting here. Overall, I would recommend this nursery. Minor complaints but most of the time I couldn't wish for more for my child.
Always received a good service. My children enjoy attending, only problem is having to pay for bank holiday though the nursery is closed when both children attend Monday is very expensive.

Our daughter has always been very happy here. The children get plenty of opportunities for outdoor play in almost all weathers, which I think is important. The staff are very friendly and caring, and were happy to accommodate my wishes for my daughter to use our own cloth nappies and to eat fruit rather than the occasional puddings the children are given (the food appears to be very good!). My only slight issue has been some confusion in communication with management.
My daughter is in ladybird room and really enjoys it. She only started in Jan 2017, but the staff are lovely and have helped her settle in well. They do a good range of activities during the day and my daughter always comes home exhausted, so I know she's had fun!

After my daughter started it took a little while for her to enjoy attending but with such a great support network and a reassuring team of assistants and staff she absolutely loves it now which I didn't think was possible. I am incredibly impressed with the communication and professionalism and with how helpful everyone is. Thank you very much.
