Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school, Madley Park

Both my children go to this nursery and I couldn't be happier. Despite only going 1 day a week they have settled in really well. They both talk so fondly about all the other children and staff. All the staff are so amazing. They are all kind, approachable and friendly and really take such an interest in all the children. I am so glad we picked this nursery and would highly recommend it to everyone!

The Co-op Childcare Madley Park is like no others: beyond taking care of your child, these amazing ladies are running activities that boost your child's development and allow them to grow in sociability and awareness of the world they live in. Everything is close to nature and all materials used are eco-friendly. I was even more surprised and amazed to learn that they make their own play dough from scratch! I cannot recommend enough this amazing nursery that ticks all the boxes.

The room staff are wonderful! They truly do have a passion for children and a vested interest in your child. I do feel sometimes the staff are not always 100% in control of the children during busy times and possibly not always sufficient hands on deck to support - this isn't the fault of the room staff at all though! The rooms are well equipped with learning and development materials and my son's key person has been great with his development areas and getting him ready for big school. The meals are healthy and I feel great care is taken to ensure balanced meals and snacks are provided. My child loves going to nursery and is building lifelong friends, I am sure. The nursery is really flexible with offering additional sessions which you can book on top of your standard sessions if you need additional child-care temporarily. It's always smiles when saying goodbye to the management team - they're very friendly and very eager to support if there are any concerns with your child.

Both my grandson and granddaughter attend Co-Op Childcare Madley Park and they absolutely love being there and I honestly know that it is a brilliant nursery for my grandchildren and feel very fortunate that they have places there. I have seen many pictures of them from my daughter and I know they are very happy and the staff go above and beyond my expectations from a nursery. Thank you for the care and kindness you show my grandchildren.

It's an amazing nursery. My son has settled in extremely well there. The staff are incredible and make handovers very easy. They always have activities to do during the day, and they always try to get the children outside at least once a day.

It will be hard for my son to say 'Goodbye at the end of August, and it will be hard for us too. But we are confident he has been prepared meticulously by his key person to step into school shoes. We do not have enough words to thank you for everything you do.

Overall, very happy with the nursery. Everyone is very polite and approachable. Any concerns have been listened to and action taken quickly. My daughter is very happy and comfortable there and I can see that the staff really care about her.

My daughter has had an amazing time at the Co-op Madley Park. She has made lots of friends who she talks about all of the time, both children and practitioners. The nursery has helped her become more confident and self-sufficient. She is always excited to attend. Communication for parents is clear and regular, and the app is updated regularly so it's easy to keep track of what they are eating/doing throughout the day. A summary is always given at the end of the nursery day when picking up your child and the staff are all really easy to get along with.

I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been there since September 2022, when her previous nursery closed with little notice. All staff are very friendly and she has settled in well. There has been an improvement in her learning development.

Both of my boys go to this nursery and they love it. Staff are always very caring and go the extra mile. Activities they do prepare them very well academically for pre-school/primary school. Highly recommended.

My son has been attending this nursery for nearly 3 years. My son can be shy when he goes in the morning but he is always looked after and comforted until he feels content. This makes me feel better knowing he is in good hands when I leave him. The activities seem fun, but educational at the same time. The staff are always so friendly and helpful.

I never feel that anything is ever too much for the staff and that they have a real invested interest in my son's development and wellbeing.

Our son loves going to nursery and we have always been confident that he is not only well looked after but positively engaged throughout the day. The Co-op Madley staff are absolutely fantastic at getting to know all of the children and designing imaginative activities. The most important factor for us is that while there is an emphasis on development, the ethos is to allow children to be children and the staff always seem to share in our son's and his friends' sense of fun.

Our children always have a lovely time at nursery, there are always lots of activities set up and quite often will be directed at our children’s own interests. Activities range from crafts and painting to playing in the garden and playing with water. Activities are usually educational and focus on what’s current at the time ie weather, seasons, upcoming celebrations etc, along with stories, singing, numbers, colours, animals etc. Communication is really good and we will often receive updates on how our children are getting on. The nursery staff are all lovely and friendly and clearly know your children and their interests very well. We have had such a positive experience with this nursery and I would recommend it to anyone! Food at main meal times is excellent and provides lots of nutritional variety.

Both of my children have thrived at Madley Co-op nursery. The staff are brilliant - so enthusiastic and passionate and I can tell they really care about my children. The activities they do throughout the day to help the children learn are fantastic. The baby room and preschool in particular are wonderful. The transformation I saw in my first child (who was a lockdown baby) after she started nursery was huge - she became so much more confident. When she starts school in September she will have had a wonderful start in life thanks to her nursery, I know she will miss all the lovely staff a lot. Thank you.

The nursery provides excellent care for our twins three days a week. We found their development really accelerated after starting at Co-op Childcare Madley Park and have always found the staff to be great with our children, in both of the rooms they have attended. We would highly recommend the nursery to other parents who are looking into nurseries in the west Oxfordshire area.
