Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school Madley Park has a modern nursery which is spacious and bright and has 5 rooms (one for each age group).

The nursery is big on happy children, they have a growing area for food (and eating it) and have regular visits to local care homes. They are also big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world. Their ParentZone app keeps parents/carers informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

They hold the silver award in the prestigious Green Flag Eco-schools programme which sees children lead the way in making little changes that have big environmental differences.

The nursery has its own garden area that allows the children to play outside all year round. One section of the garden has been designed as a beach, giving the children the freedom to explore and experiment with texture and volume.

My eldest daughter is now 3 1/2 and has been attending since she was around 6 months. She loves the nursery and the staff who work there and clearly has a great time each day. The activities are fun and wide-ranging and she always comes home excited, tired and with new pictures or stories. The food
that she is given is healthy and she seems to eat better there than she does at home!
My youngest daughter is 1 and also attends, the staff who look after her always seem genuinely pleased to see her each day and she has never made any fuss about being dropped off.
Both girls are very well looked after and it seems to me that the staff all love working there and build good relationships with the children they look after.

Great nursery! Well-structured room and garden set up.
The current staff are very friendly and helpful. Just find as though they have been overwhelmed at times and that they would benefit from an extra staff member or 2 hence why I have given the staff rating as satisfactory overall.

My daughter can sometimes get upset when I drop her off but the staff always go out of their way to get her settled quickly. They also provide updates via message or pictures so that we have the comfort of knowing she has settled. I love that the nursery does lots of different activities, some that

Staff are always so friendly and willing to help with advice and accommodate with any problems or queries. Our child is happy and enjoys going to nursery and the updates we get in person and through the app are very comforting as a parent.

My 3 children have been attending this nursery for 5 years and the staff are all just so lovely and kind. My baby is starting here this week too and knowing that he will be looked after by all the ladies here makes it so much easier on me.
There is a lot of staff who have been there for a long time
which I think also says a lot about the setting. Great nursery. Love the ladies.
I have scored slightly less in value for money because the cost of childcare is not good value for money in the wider sense. However contextually I think it is for hours and what is included.

Lovely nursery and our daughter absolutely loves attending. She is thriving due to the level of care and stimulation she receives at Co-op Childcare Madley Park nursery. All staff are incredibly friendly and always welcome us with a smile. Would highly recommend it.

The staff are nothing but helpful, caring, friendly and knowledgeable. They put a lot of effort into making each child feel known and heard, and provided additional support to me in terms of helping my child overcome certain behavioural traits. Our daughter started at Co-op Childcare Madley Park in October, then was off for a bit with illness, which set back the settling-in process a bit. She is a very social little girl but understandably was quite nervous starting nursery and being away from me. However, the staff at Madley Park Nursery
have gone above and beyond to help not only my daughter settle in but me as well! I was very nervous that she wouldn't get on well and maybe it was too soon to send her, but within just a month, she settled in so well and now talks about all the staff at home (especially her amazing key worker), and is always asking to go to nursery, even on days she isn't scheduled to go. Everyone has been so amazing with helping us address any teething issues we had and has truly made us feel so comfortable and confident that she is truly looked after and is incredibly happy as well. We feel that they provide her with even more than I could on my own, and her development is skyrocketing. Thank you for everything!

Our 2-year-old daughter absolutely loves going to nursery here. She has a really special bond with many of the staff members and she obviously feels very safe and happy to be with them. Often in the morning she reaches for them and I really value the honest and caring feedback from them at the end of
the day. She comes home and I notice new skills which she has learnt all the time which is wonderful to see. For parents to know that their child is not just safe but also really happy every day is invaluable. The manager and her team are kind, caring and nurturing towards our daughter and I am so happy we found this nursery.

Outstanding nursery, always going the extra mile. My son not only gets freshly prepared meals but is also very looked after. Staff always makes sure he's ok and pick up on the littlest odd behaviours like when he is sick for instance. Staff are super friendly and help children learn new things every

My 2-year-old has been at Co-op Childcare Madley Park for eleven months. In this time the nursery has provided an outstanding level of care and support. He is extremely comfortable in the setting and has made incredible progress in speech and language, motor skills and numeracy. Further to this, his
interpersonal skills are blossoming and this is very much thanks to the nursery.
The level of transparency with regards to every aspect of his care has been superb, we are able to call, email or talk to his carers whenever we need and get very open, honest and thorough answers.
We appreciate that this past couple of years has been a very hard time for nurseries across the UK. We feel that Madley Park has handled this extremely well and has balanced the provision of care against the health and developmental concerns of staff and children brilliantly.
I would not hesitate to recommend Madley Park Nursery to anyone considering sending their child there!

Our son has been in the pre-school room at Co-op Childcare for nearly a year now and I've been very impressed with the facilities and services.
All staff I have engaged with are extremely knowledgeable, polite, enthusiastic and really put the children right at the heart of the service. Nothing is ever
too much trouble. They have done a great job to manage safety throughout the pandemic while ensuring some normality for the kids in very abnormal times.
At the end of every day, I get a very detailed handover and the app is a great way to receive messages, updates, pictures and manage payments easily.
I have seen my son grow in confidence, develop positive friendships and thrive with his numeracy and phonics while in their care.
I would highly recommend this nursery to friends. Thank you for all you do.

My son absolutely loves it here, he comes home after a day at nursery absolutely beaming. It’s been great seeing him develop as he progresses through the rooms and nursery has really helped his confidence and his speech. My daughter started here in July 2021 at 11 months old. The setting has always been great at communicating with me from the very start arranging and navigating the settling in sessions all the way to the present date communicating regarding my daughter moving up rooms and changing days in September.
My daughter has a great bond with her current key worker and the other staff in her room, so much so she talks about them on non-nursery days! The girls are all so approachable and I feel completely comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. Each day my daughter is in the setting I receive regular updates through the Parent Zone app on her meals, sleep, nappies and photos of her doing activities. Each month I have sight of an observation on her development, and her next step for the following month. I am confident that my daughters key worker knows my daughters interests and always bases activities around these interests. Overall I am extremely happy with the care provided.

Highly recommend Co-op Madley Park Nursery - the staff are brilliant, from my son’s assigned key worker to the other staff in his room and the management team. They really take the time to get to know the children and offer really engaging and varied activities that support his development, as well
as plenty of time outdoors in the garden area. The food is also nice and varied and healthy.

Our son has been at the nursery since 6 months old and is now 2 years old and has just moved up to Butterflies. The team took time to get to know him and his family and have welcomed him into his new room. It was seamless and he loves it. So many activities every day and fantastic opportunities that
he wouldn't have at home. The meal plans are delicious. Highly recommend the nursery having experienced 3 of the rooms and teams so far.

As a first time parent, I was worried about putting my son into nursery but our experience with Madley park has been brilliant so far.
I keep in touch with them about any concerns and they instantly respond with the most caring and professional attitude trying to help me and my little boy.
The changes
in his development are remarkable and most importantly he is happy and loves spending time there.
The staff have gone above and beyond during the Covid19 era and most importantly they truly listen to my concerns and care for my child.
