Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school Madley Park

I, my wife and both of my boys love the nursery and all of the staff there. My oldest is now at school but nursery gave him a great start to his journey. My youngest is currently at nursery and he loves it every day.

Communication and child support is excellent. The nursery is a great environment with very good facilities. The staff are approachable, well informed and very helpful. Our child is engaged, learns a lot daily and is supported in all of their needs.

I am really happy with Co-op Childcare Madley Park. The nursery is very well run. There’s lots of opportunity for input and feedback. There’s also a lot of flexibility with drop off and pick up and routinely the opportunity to pick up more sessions. The management is fair and transparent in their decisions. There is a real community atmosphere and I have the feeling that my child is cared for in a personal way. Every key person she has had as she moves up through the rooms has been brilliant - caring, kind and concerned for her development.

Both girls are very well looked after and it seems to me that the staff all love working there and build good relationships with the children they look after.

The current staff are very friendly and helpful. Just find as though they have been overwhelmed at times and that they would benefit from an extra staff member or 2 hence why I have given the staff rating as satisfactory overall.

Staff are always so friendly and willing to help with advice and accommodate with any problems or queries. Our child is happy and enjoys going to nursery and the updates we get in person and through the app are very comforting as a parent.

My daughter can sometimes get upset when I drop her off but the staff always go out of their way to get her settled quickly. They also provide updates via message or pictures so that we have the comfort of knowing she has settled. I love that the nursery does lots of different activities, some that I wouldn’t have thought about doing - like making fresh orange juice to drink!

I have scored slightly less in value for money because the cost of childcare is not good value for money in the wider sense. However contextually I think it is for hours and what is included.

Lovely nursery and our daughter absolutely loves attending. She is thriving due to the level of care and stimulation she receives at Co-op Childcare Madley Park nursery. All staff are incredibly friendly and always welcome us with a smile. Would highly recommend it.

The staff are nothing but helpful, caring, friendly and knowledgeable. They put a lot of effort into making each child feel known and heard, and provided additional support to me in terms of helping my child overcome certain behavioural traits. They work with parents to provide the best care for each individual child.

My daughter loves attending the nursery, she always comes home happy after having a good day. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. We've had nothing but good experiences. I can't praise you enough.

Our daughter started at Co-op Childcare Madley Park in October, then was off for a bit with illness, which set back the settling-in process a bit. She is a very social little girl but understandably was quite nervous starting nursery and being away from me. However, the staff at Madley Park Nursery have gone above and beyond to help not only my daughter settle in but me as well! I was very nervous that she wouldn't get on well and maybe it was too soon to send her, but within just a month, she settled in so well and now talks about all the staff at home (especially her amazing key worker), and is always asking to go to nursery, even on days she isn't scheduled to go. Everyone has been so amazing with helping us address any teething issues we had and has truly made us feel so comfortable and confident that she is truly looked after and is incredibly happy as well. We feel that they provide her with even more than I could on my own, and her development is skyrocketing. Thank you for everything!

Our 2-year-old daughter absolutely loves going to nursery here. She has a really special bond with many of the staff members and she obviously feels very safe and happy to be with them. Often in the morning she reaches for them and I really value the honest and caring feedback from them at the end of the day. She comes home and I notice new skills which she has learnt all the time which is wonderful to see. For parents to know that their child is not just safe but also really happy every day is invaluable. The manager and her team are kind, caring and nurturing towards our daughter and I am so happy we found this nursery.

Outstanding nursery, always going the extra mile. My son not only gets freshly prepared meals but is also very looked after. Staff always makes sure he's ok and pick up on the littlest odd behaviours like when he is sick for instance. Staff are super friendly and help children learn new things every day.

Our son has been at Co-op Childcare Madley Park for over 2 years now and we are all so sad for him to be leaving for Primary in September. All the staff are so genuine and kind and really care about the children and their development. Our son has developed so beautifully and enjoyed every minute, it’s hard to get him to leave at home time! His key teachers are amazing and deserve so much recognition!

I would not hesitate to recommend Madley Park Nursery to anyone considering sending their child there!

My son absolutely loves it here, he comes home after a day at nursery absolutely beaming. It’s been great seeing him develop as he progresses through the rooms and nursery has really helped his confidence and his speech. The staff are lovely and kind, and a little bit magic, getting my son to try food he won’t touch at home! My daughter will be going here in October and I look forward to watching her journey. Really recommend this nursery.

My daughter started here in July 2021 at 11 months old. The setting has always been great at communicating with me from the very start arranging and navigating the settling in sessions all the way to the present date communicating regarding my daughter moving up rooms and changing days in September. My daughter has a great bond with her current key worker and the other staff in her room, so much so she talks about them on non-nursery days! The girls are all so approachable and I feel completely comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. Each day my daughter is in the setting I receive regular updates through the Parent Zone app on her meals, sleep, nappies and photos of her doing activities. Each month I have sight of an observation on her development, and her next step for the following month. I am confident that my daughters key worker knows my daughters interests and always bases activities around these interests. Overall I am extremely happy with the care provided.

Highly recommend Co-op Madley Park Nursery - the staff are brilliant, from my son’s assigned key worker to the other staff in his room and the management team. They really take the time to get to know the children and offer really engaging and varied activities that support his development, as well as plenty of time outdoors in the garden area. The food is also nice and varied and healthy.
